Our favorite restaurant in amherstburg! Arancini (Rice Balls) is a must try! My favorite is the seafood Pasta/Spaghetti Mare E Monti! Chicken parm is also really good!
If you have not tried Riccardo's you need to. Delicious absolutely delicious. We were to late to make reservations but they sat us pretty quick. Food was fantastic and service was just as good. It's not a huge place and fills up real fast. Thanks for the great Bday dinner.
This restaurant came highly recommended from several sources and it did not disappoint. My perch was tender and tasty. My husband enjoyed his chicken parmigiana as much. Our waitress was patient and flexible, which was important for our 10 year reunion with friends, and the view of the Detroit River was full of activity. Thank you!
If you're in Amherstburg, this is a great place for Italian food. Menu is extensive with lots of choices. Food is good and plentiful. Prices are on the high side.
I don’t usually post comments unless I’m impressed. I stumbled over Riccardo’s by happen-chance when killing time in Amherstburg. The food here was absolutely amazing. Who’s Nonna is working in the kitchen? Thanks to Abby and the rest of the staff for a great dinner experience.
Ricardo's is such a great spot. The food is delicious is never ever disappoints. The service is amazing as well as the atmosphere. This just makes for a lovely visit everytime. The owner is always in the kitchen helping the staff, which is always so nice to see.
Excellent food. Great service despite working with low staffing levels. Waitress was very good and has been doing this probably for awhile. Bolder staff need more credit for working in these tough times. Made our experience better and should be compensated for it! Wish I remembered her name.
Excellent food and presentation, good quantities and great service. Our group of six was off on a corner and the dining room is small so it lost a point, but otherwise a great place! Reservations are recommended.
This was highly recommended by a local couple during our short stay in town. My wife and I were looking forward to a nice Italian meal. The staffs and service were excellent but food was average, nothing special as some of the other reviews have mentioned. Even though the buns are not home made, we kinda wished they'd be warm when they were brought out for starters. The barbecued calamari and steamed mussels with white wine were very tasty and enjoyable. My wife's veal scallopini with cream sauce was excellent. However, my veal parm was disappointing, the tomato sauce tasted like plain store bought tomato sauce in a can. Which was surprising because the appetizers were tasty.
Another wonderful meal at Riccardo's. I highly recommend the Wild Mushroom Agnolotti (hope I spelt that correctly), but everyone loved their food. If you get Amy for a server as well, then you're definitely going to have a lovely meal.
Third visit, first time dining indoors. Food was excellent. Service was good. Really enjoy when we can sit on the patio. Will come back when the weather warms up.
This is the most consistently excellent restaurant that we’ve ever found. We’ve been going for 12 years and have never had a bad experience. We love RICCARDOS! We hope you stick around for a long long time!
Excellent food, really delicious. Waitress was attentive and quick. The only thing is I found the table placing a little odd. It's hard to describe, but as soon as I walked in and saw the single table by the door and the tables along the bar, it just seemed odd. Definitely won't stop me from going back though, because the food is worth it. People have raved to me about Riccardo's and they certainly weren't wrong!
