What a truly delightful, wonderfully cosy and impeccably serviced coffee house. Brockville, be proud! This is a rare gem to be protected. What's more is how Pat recognised my late Brothers voice in my own, saying "You remind me of my favourite regular but I've not seen him in quite a while". These folk are so well tuned into the community and really take care of every order and aspect of your visit. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Best coffee house in Brockville. Excellent food. Loved their bruschetta. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff and owner.

Amazing service and delicious gluten free and dairy free options. The gluten free bagel omelette sandwich hit the spot!

Stopped by for quick breakfast to go. Blueberry muffin and hot milk. The lady was nice. All was good but they used dried blueberries for their muffins. Maybe it’s the spoiled Californian in me expecting fresh fruit. Prices were reasonable and they had specials too which were very reasonably priced.

Stopped by this Coffeehouse on the long weekend Monday as this was one of the few places that were open. Seemed like a pretty popular cafe amongst the locals. They freshly prepared our hot breakfast sandwiches and the manager/owner was very warm and welcoming.

Service was quick. Everything tasted home-like. Baked items were decent too. Parking was harder to find but we managed.

This was my first stop in Brockville. A lovely coffee shop with lots of options to pick from.

I will note, their challah bun is not actually challah - more of a croissant in a ball. It was still great but definitely not challah and needs some rebranding.

Their matcha tea latte was good, it wasn't too sweat and there were no clumps.

The people seemed lovely and I appreciate that it's open earlier than anywhere else in town.

Had cozy evening coffee here, the coffee and pastries were great. Loved the quiet and relaxing ambience. Gives you that small town feel, great local find!

Came across this coffeehouse during a short trip to Brockville. Cappuccino and chocolate croissant were delicious. Had read so much about Sam the owner and he lived up to all the positive comments noted elsewhere.

Owner Sam is Very nice and friendly. It was 8 pm on Saturday and officially they are closed but he was working on free Easter dinner and opened the door to a group of 12 and gave a very nice service. Thank you Sam. You are amazing.

Took a city tour in Brockville and found Richard coffeehouse. The ambiance is WOW, a homey and nostalgic feel. The owner was really nice and friendly. We asked him to do two coffees (Both were delicious London Fog and salted Carmel). Amazing Experience!

We came in this morning for breakfast while going to Kingston. Thought of having breakfast here instead of 'onroute'
Have to say, the vibe of this place was just awesome! The owner and the staff very happy and helpful. Also very thoughtful, when he saw my younger son was having hot chocolate, he called him back to pour some more milk to cool it down, and said to him, 'so that you don't burn, while enjoying. ' the spinach and feta pastry was very flaky and flavorful. The regular coffee was ok! The breakfast was good, specially the eggs. I would have preferred real bacon instead of turkey, but was good to taste. Also, for hash I would have preferred homestyle instead of store bought hash, although it was put together well and tasted good. The service was with a smile. Overall, has a great time. Thanks!

- pastry 2.5 stars - (prices were just okay, quality was mediocre (dry pastry, too much pastry too filling ratio, the cake was moist but tasted similar to box cake/ grocery store cake)
- decor/ ambiance 2.5 stars - (walls in the process of being painted, adequate, good-sized seating area.
- staff 4 stars - pleasant, helpful, accommodating.

The Broccoli Soup and spinach with feta cheese croissant was very delicious and the hot salted Carmel double expresso was very good. Staff was very friendly and help with our choices what to have. Highly recommend going here when in Brockville

Nice coiffée break place in Brockville. They also offer desserts and other sweets to go with the drinks.

My omelette bagel sandwich and chocolate croissant were absolutely delicious. My lavender latte was so good I didn’t want it to end.

Got house blend coffee to go. It was great! The macaroni and cheese cup was awesome. We will certainly be back when we visit Brockville again.

Oldskool 70’s style coffee shop on main street. Enjoyed my cup of coffee and snack there. I felt like the place was bit pricey compared to similar coffee shops.

We ate breakfast there and bought a box of desserts, only found when we got the hotel that they were moldy.

Cutest little coffeeshop in the Brockville area. Owner is lovely. Food is amazing and the wifi is just as strong as the coffee.

I frequently stop by Richard’s on my lunch breaks, it’s absolutely my favourite coffee shop in town now. Im more or less addicted to the lavender latte with double espresso, the lavender is so good! It has a high quality lavender taste with the classic calming feel even though it’s in a coffee:). Staff are always incredibly friendly and joke around with you, which gives it that warm small town feel too!

Absolutely terrible.
Wanted a Iced mocha and was told no, and that I should get a double expresso with lavender and honey. Decided to follow the suggestion as I figured it'd be good. Girlfriend and I both got one and threw it out immediately after a few sips. Cost 7$ for a coffee and 1$+ for ice. Spent 17$ on 2 coffees that belonged in the trash.

Got the double shot of lavender latte and it was the most disgusting drink I've ever tasted charges for 8ce without notice my friend got a peanut butter cookie and it was burnt and gross

Conveniently located on the other side of the street from the Metro grocery store and the Brockville Arts Centre, Richard's Coffeehouse offers a very good selection of professionally-baked goods that are bound to please those of you who are looking for that sort of thing, albeit more on the expensive side than you would expect from other cafes and bakeries, largely due to the more artisan-style of baking you will get there. My motto for high-end places like this one: if you can afford to go to them as often as you'd like to then by all means, do go there. You won't be disappointed. In addition to high-quality baking there is also spacious seating with a great view of King Street, a convenient location, and it is now wheelchair-accessible. Plus there are some nice deals like coffee and a muffin for under $3 (at the time this review was posted). Good, friendly and attentive service and very locally owned. Highly recommended!

I popped into Richard's after a performance at Brockville Arts Center. It's very conveniently located right across from there and is open till 10pm. I got a cappuccino and a strawberry cream cheese Danish/strudel. Both of which were quite good. The pastry was flaky and the filling was plentiful and not dried up. The cappuccino does have cinnamon sprinkled across the top. So if your not a fan of cinnamon be sure to let them know. I myself prefer a light dusting of Cocoa as I find the cinnamon overpowers the coffee. But each to his own. They have lots of pastries in hand as well as what's on the menu I posted a pic of. However, they don't have prices posted of the pastries in the dessert cabinet. The staff is quite friendly if a little hurried. Overall a nice cozy place. Busy on a Monday @11: 45.

This is a cute family-run cafe with homemade baked goods and delicious coffee. I like the vibe and encouraging local businesses instead of big chains.

Their bread here is always so good! What I love the most about their breads is that, it's not too sweet. And it is enough for me to keep on coming back for it.
