It's good for picnics and has a playground for kids, picnic tables, washrooms. Not a lot of parking and definitely not good for swimming. If you looking to chill then it's great.
Great Ontario Lake beach, so far the best I've been to. Small but cozy, the water temperature is great, not too cold but fresh, the beach is not crowded so you can relax and enjoy. Toronto skyline can be see from afar.
Small park. Access to the waterfront but not really swiammable water. Lots of geese and swans. They have swings, small slide, and monkey bar. No splash pads, bathrooms are okay clean.
This is a nice alternative to Jack darling, but the beach here is bit rocky. Otherwise it is a nice park with ample space for picnic, also parking here is not as bad as jack darling park.
Easy and free parking on the weekends. There is a group picnic area, public washroom, children’s playground, beach with sand and rocks, not for swimming, but great for kayak and SUP, not for newbies (wave and current from open water of Lake Ontario, no lifeguard).
Needs more benches and parking. If you take your own chairs or ground cover you will be set for a wonderful stay. Good alternative to Jack Darling park.
Even at this time of year need to go early in the day on the weekend for a parking spot. If after 11, can be a bit of a challenge unless someone is leaving.
Beautiful place with ample sitting arrangement. Parking is free and you have the perfect combination of calmness of the water and tranquility of the birds.
Lovely park with something for everyone. However parking can be an issue if u get there post mid morning. You have to keep circling around the parking lot in the hopes that someone will leave to get their parking spot.
Experience was good. Nice place for picnic, lots of sitting area. Nice and soothing sea view. Must have food to enjoy. Everyone should visit one time for sure.
This is a nice place for family picnic. Tends to get very crowded. Nice place but if you are young and looking for a more secluded place then this is not the right place for you!
Also finding a proper parking spot is something you should worry about!
My first park experience where I spent more than 5 hours. It has swings n slides for kids, small beach to enjoy river. Well maintained grass all over, public restrooms, couple barbecue for usage by general public. Had to wait for 20-30 mins for parking so my suggestion would be to go early and secure a spot. I would recommend taking a barbeque along with lot of snacks since the only food you can buy is ice cream from a truck
It's a nice little park, though I would avoid it during crowded days (so pretty much most of summer afternoons) - gets too crowded and noisy! But great for a bbq or picnic with some room to play Frisbee or ball.
Very, very, very bad service. I have sent my package since Wednesday and I paid extra money to arrive on the second day, but nothing arrived and I talked to the messenger. He is doing nothing and the package now I do not know about it. Very bad service
There were few people. It is very well cared, very clean. The bathroom are in a good conditions. The only thing I didn't like was watching people try to throw rocks at ducks and seagulls. We must honor life. It is a place to find the peace that we need in these times
Richard's Memorial Park is a great place. The trail is paved and very easy to walk. There are many flower gardens around that are absolutely beautiful and great for photography. There are some nice sections of lakefront to see and have a nice picnic at. The park is always clean and free of garbage and any hazards. The park has some great areas for photography. There are many benchs to sit on and admire the view of Lake Ontario. There is public bathroom on site. There is plenty of parking on site. Great place to take a walk on a nice summer day with loved ones.
Any park or area where you have a lovely piece of land filled with nature and animals, bonus if there is a beach and water, like a lake or the sea, aspecialy if you live in the city and you don't own a cottage in the country, and if you need to be surrounded by nature and feel grounded with Mother Earth, but current situation does not permit for extensive driving. The park and other parks in the city are a breath of fresh air!
This is such an awesome park for families and kids. Very clean place. Lots of open space and parking too. I love that they have bbq too. Not to mention the majestic lake ontario. It does get quite cold here so would suggest to bring a light jacket. Lots of takeaway options like pizza etc. Do not miss the ice cream truck in the afternoon.
Love this place, usually you will be able to spot some wildlife here like Canadian geese, there is a nice beach with views of the Toronto skylines parking available and pet friendly, excellent for barbecuing as well.
Two great little beaches, a play structure for the kids and little BBQ stands for public use. It's likely a little less busy as a result of being a few minutes west of the bustling Port Credit core. Highly recommended!
Nice and cozy, just a minature size compared to Jack Darling but plenty of parking which is close by. Has a nice play area, bathrooms and a beautiful coast view of Toronto.
I didn't see life guards there. There were barely any garbage bins around the beach area. It was sad to see people leaving all kinds of plastics around the area. Perhaps placing more signage will help.
The beach and area is very nice and a perfect spot to bring the family. The city however engages in the disguising practice of purposely not giving NEARLY enough parking so they can give you parking tickets.there are maybe 20 - 25 parking spots for an area that could easily fit 100 people.
Nice park. Right on the water with plenty of space for picnics and get togethers.dog park aswell for your fine furry friend. Living in a big city with a nice lakeside park so close by is ideal. Sometimes there are fireworks and overall great views of the surrounding areas.
More swings are required, the city has to realize the increasing number of population, inam pretty sure that they are aware of that especially after we have embraced so many many new comers, therefore, their political decision (regardless whether we support it or not) should be completed by improving the parks to be able to accommodate this unprecedented number of people coming to the parks. Add to that, the bad smell of the burned diesel of the ice cream truck, these truck must undergo close monitoring, inspection and quality assurance compliance.
The beach is full of twigs falling from surrounding trees and pebbles but it is beautiful. If you mind people swimming in there clothes it is probably not the perfect spot for you on weekends!
Some muddy spots and a lot of flying nets but what else can you expect from a park by the lake shore? Very scenic and calming. We enjoyed sitting on the picnic table right by the lake with the swans, geese, and loons swimming by. Such a lovely time
