This week, Richmond Heating and Air, of St. Clements ON, installed a new Infinity series furnace and heat pump in our home. The installation process was exemplary from start to finish. Kevin and Collin did an outstanding job installing the system. The work was carried out meticulously and carefully, nothing was rushed, and the result is a clean and tidy, professional-looking installation. Thanks for such an excellent job!

Richmond Heating will go the extra mile to stand behind their work and products. They had installed a new air conditioner for us 2-3 years ago and it stopped working this summer - turns out it had a defective leaking valve. Dylan was very nice to work with and communicated well. Unfortunately Lennox didn't cover the defective valve and the repair to the AC unit but Dave and his team stood good for all of it although we offered to pay part of it. We are grateful to have a local company like Richmond that still cares about quality and works hard to provide honest and excellent service!

I recently had a central air conditioner installed by Richmond heating. Very competitive pricing and very professional. Their salesman Nick was very friendly and knew his stuff. We had a furnace service call this morning from Dylan at Richmond Heating & Air and we were so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism that we decided to write a review. We've been a customer of Richmond's for over 25 years and have always had great service but Dylan was one of the best service techs we've ever dealt with. He made sure that we were informed about every aspect of what he was doing and he also left us with a detailed report including tips on good furnace filters to buy in order to prolong the life of our furnace. We were thoroughly impressed with Dylan and hope to see him again when we need another service appointment.

I don't usually do this but Kevin and Colin who did the installation of a new furnace plus adding vents and new intake and exhaust were great. Everything left very clean. Other than a new furnace wouldn't know anybody was here. Nick who did the quote was great too. Highly recommend Richmond Heating.

I would like to tell the owner what a great job his staff did and all the great work they did at my house. Kevin and his helper installed my Furance last week. Dillion was here today to install a new fan motor in my fireplace. You should be very proud of all your folks as if I could rate them higher then a five star I would. Great job guys. Of course our furnace stopped working just as the cold weather showed up! Richmond had someone inspect our current furnace and they gave us pricing for both a repair and a replacement as our current furnace was in its 17th year. Dave Richmond has the best Heating and Air Conditioning service in the area, maybe even the entire world. If it weren't for Kevin and Dylan our newborn son would have slept his 8th day of life in the frigid cold. Richmond Heating did an amazing job of installing our furnace a couple of winters ago, so they were the first people we called when we needed a new gas line installed. They managed to fit us in during the busy summer install season and did an excellent job once again.

Have dealt with this company for almost 15 years or more. Had Hope in for a yearly furnace and air inspection. Was very thorough. We found out our hose wasn’t working properly. She was well prepared with her own in the truck.

I have worked with Richmond Heating and Air Conditioning since we purchased our current home, and recently had them install a new furnace. I cannot say enough good things about the service we received from Richmond from the initial phone call, to the informative home visit to quote on various options, to the final install. Every step of the process is managed with the best "old fashioned" quality service that has been lost on many other companies.

Kevin (who incidentally had installed the last furnace 17 years ago for the previous owners of the house) and Nolan were polite, friendly, efficient and cleaned everything up when they were done!

When I had a slight concern shortly after they left, I called the office and they sent another technician right away to check it out. He completed all the necessary tests, and it turned out that my concern was unfounded. The sales person (Nick) even contacted me to make sure everything was OK after he heard about my concern!

I would highly recommend this very professional and first-rate company for all your residential HVAC needs!

I made a phone call about my Furnace replacement and had Nick call back to answer my questions and then set up an appointment for an estimate. The information given was easy to understand and the price given was very competitive.
On installation day Kevin and Dylan arrived at the promised time (7am) and worked until the job was complete. (4pm).
They installed the Furnace, a/c, new lines for the a/c plus the other parts of the job that go unseen.
Kevin and Dylan swept the basement floor and cleaned all the old parts and packaging materials from the garage.
Job well done.

Richmond heating and air are a fantastic group. Our furnace died yesterday. The same day they came assessed things, and came back to do measuring and estimating. Then first thing this morning they got started and finished everything by mid afternoon easily handling a couple curves that came their way. All their staff are very polite, professional and easy to talk you. After connecting with them over a couple houses I feel we can trust them, their advice and their work.

I just had a Modine Hot Dawg 30,000 BTU garage heater installed and the guys did an amazing job. Very kind, very professional, and a super clean installation. Couldn't be happier!

The people at Richmond heating and air are professional from start to finish and provide excellent service. Our furnace broke down on a freezing cold night and after calling another company who claimed they couldn't get the part and we should therefore just buy a new furnace off them, we called the team at Richmond. Once Eric arrived we were back up and running with a new part in a couple of hours. Richmond is one of those old fashioned companies that looks to develop a relationship with their clients and do things properly. It is so relaxing to be working with professionals who generally want to help you. Crew arrived on time and left the place so clean we couldn't tell they had been here.
New furnace is quiet and over 2 billing cycles the gas use is much lower than previous years.

I've been in the custom home construction business throughout Ontario for 47 years. When my wife and I decided to build our retirement home in Waterloo I needed to find a qualified HVAC contractor. A number of companies were investigated, but I always went back to Richmond Heating. From my first meeting with Jeremy I felt we'd found a good fit. His knowledge of the most advanced equipment and installation methods were welcoming. From contract to this date the staff were knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. Our installer Nathan completed his work with well thought suggestions and in the neatest manner I've see in a very long time. Nearing the time of completion I met Dave Richmond (owner). Excellent experience with having our furnace serviced today. We called Richmond in the morning after noticing our furnace wasn't firing up properly: Hope came out for the service call an hour later. She was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. She knew the issue right away, and had things back up and running within an hour. Overall, it was a smooth and quick service call.

My furnace quit over night, I called first thing the next morning and within an hour they had sent Jeremy out to fix the problem. Super fast service and extremely kind employees. Thanks for taking care of this, Jeremy. Would definitely recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Richmond Heating and air Conditioning. My Air Conditioning was not working and a repairman was sent out in a timely manner. I had a new unit installed the same week. The salesperson was very nice and the service person, Ryan was excellent. He answered all my questions and explained everything to me. I must say he was the nicest, most knowledgeable and professional service person that I have ever had for any type of repair. Nick assessed my furnace and water heater needs in detail, explained all options so I could understand and considered my own personal limitations when providing my list to choose from. Kevin and Collin installed a furnace AND water heater in 2 days (!), explained critical life-saving details about the lines, valves, vents and why they installed the equipment the way they did and left the house like nobody had been here. First class, top notch service from start to finish. Nick did an awesome job carefully quoting the job and even came back a second time with his installer Kevin to ensure the complicated job of installing ductless AC into our 100+ year old home could be done. They both took the time to review our options and carefully measured all areas leaving us with total confidence that they could get the job done. The installation was done to perfection with Kevin, Collin and Dillan working non-stop all day. All equipment was carefully installed and piping neatly attached (through closets & floor) both inside and out and everything was left tidy and clean upon completion. Kevin took the time to test all equipment and provided necessary guidance on functionality. Great teamwork and wonderful group of people to work with. We highly recommend Richmond Heating and AC.

Our furnace/ac stopped working on us. First off we called Aire One.that was a horrible mistake. The guy from Aire One who came quickly looked at it and (unknown to me until Richmond came) lied about 2 problems with the furnace and drastically over-quoted me on a repair price, followed by telling me my furnace was worth half that and I would be better off replacing the whole thing for thousands of dollars. I called Richmond for a second opinion. They were extremely kind, honest and accommodating. After looking things over, they not only fixed the actual problem for half the cost of the Aire One quote, but thoroughly cleaned the interior of the furnace casing and blower area to help avoid future issues. I will never use anyone else but Richmond from now on.
