This is the best toyota dealership I've been to in Ontario and has to be at least in the top five for Canada. I kind of came in here by chance on an errand and visited the parts department. The stuff at the counter actually had the part I needed on display with the model number as it's a fairly common part and were able to give me a few insights on the product as well that I've never seen anyone else do. Set me up just fine with what I needed and I left with better insight how to avoid future problems. Then I stopped to ask a sales consultant a few questions about a model I was considering to replace my current vehicle. Thomas chan was the consultant. He was able to give me I think more insight than I've ever had from any car sales person on features available, their practicality, and value to me as a customer. He really went above and beyond to answer my questions and try to show me a model which I was interested in even though he didn't have to. I think I'm switching dealerships! It's a bit out of my way over in Richmond Hill but I think it's actually worth it coming in from downtown Toronto. Do recommend.

Very bad experience with Brad in service center. He was very rude.he didnt help me. I went there for fixing app issue in my car he told me to go inside your car press the button and follow the steps then he said at first take your car out of service center. If I could follow the steps procedure why do I need to bring my car over there. I booked appointment last week.it was my time and he had to help me to fix the problem not rudly sending me away. I am not going back to that service center anymore.

I made a service apportionment over a month ago for an oil change and tire change over that I said would be waiting in store for it to be completed. I called before I arrived for my 10am appointment to see if they could take me early and was advised i could come in for 940am. Upon my arrival I was informed that my basic service would be 2-3 hours, they had no real idea what time my vehicle would even be started even though i had a 940 appointment time. They offered to drive me somewhere but would not drive me home as they said it was to far so I left and will not be back.

I had an appointment for oil change today. I was waiting for 1.5 hours just to find out that nobody started to work on my car (the floor was empty, no single car at work). This people do not value their customers time at all. Next time I'll change oil somewhere else.

From buying my first Toyota, to getting it serviced this place has been great! It's a busy spot! But worth it. Management here has compiled a great team. I've called other Toyota dealers about quotes and service that are closer to me and it is not even comparable with how you are treated and dealt with. Highly recommend this spot.

Basically swindled. I would assume most reviews on here are fake or made by family/friends of the staff.

I bought a car and was told the bank would give a lower interest rate if I purchased the extended warranty. The salesperson went on to explain they wanted to secure their investment. Later on I found out this was not the case when speaking to my bank rep, warranties do not effect interest rates. The salesperson had basically forced me to take the warranty, or accept a higher interest rate from a DIFFERENT lender that would ultimately cost more than the warranty.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.since then I have been bringing the car in for regular repair and have another mechanic I bring it to after the dealership to check the work. Well, in the last year and a half the dealership has put in the wrong parts, not put in any parts (missing air cabin filter, just GONE) and they were straight up lieing to me about my break pads, transmission fluid, and more.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

In response to Toyota's response: Fool me once.shame on you. I will not be fooled again, and I am not the only person who has had this experience. Simply talking to people in local garages I hear these stories about your dealership specifically.

Worst customer service ever!

They took my car for a limited service campaign and then just realized they have no parts to get the job done. How Toyota Richmond Hill could confirm a service appointment two days before, without having parts, if they know exactly what parts they will need to replace?

I spent more than an hour in the morning to bring the car for service, then to pick it up with no job done.and they even changed all the seat settings! I have a chronic back pain and now need to return everything back as it was. I have never had such as bad experience. I have two Toyota's and this location just lost me as a client. I'm not sure if those people know what they are doing.

Again, thank service advisers Vanessa Broderick and Howard SCHONBERGER for spending my time for nothing on a busy Monday morning and your technicians that need to change the seat settings in order to drive a car 10 meters away only.

Absolutely unprofessional.

I purchased a vehicle from Richmond Hill Toyota in 2018. I paid $1000.00 (plus tax) for RUST PROOFING & UNDERCOAT. This summer 2021 I did repairs inside my doors. Upon doing so I saw that there was nothing sprayed on the inside of any of the four doors. The three bolts holding the lock on to the doors were sprayed on the outside, though, making it look like the inside of the doors were sprayed. When I brought this to the attention of Richmond Hill Toyota, they assured me that I was mistaken. I was asked to bring the car in. I came to the parking lot of the dealership with door panels off. That's when I was told that for a few years they did not spray the doors, maybe because of wires or rubber seals. They did spray the tailgate which as has all of those things, including break lights. They were willing to spray the doors now. I did not have any door protection for the last two winters. They made no effort to compensate me for this. I feel like I was defrauded. Had I been told that about half of my car would not be RUST PROOFED I would have gone elsewhere. If they knowingly cheated me, or by accident, the end result is the same. I paid $1000 for an incomplete job at best. For me never again, I have since gone to KROWN for less than $150.00 they did the WHOLE car.

The agent tricked my brother to buy an XWRY engine insurance sort of warranty, assured him that would return the money back after 5 years if no damage. My brother well maintained the car, no claim made. 5years after, went back for the refund as promised. Then was told it has to be within 30 days after the expiry date. Fine, it’s indeed embedded in the contract lines. But when I checked the contract he signed back then, the agent highlighted every benefit of such warranty, leave the 30 day remind unhighlighted. Totally fraud.
And I find many other similar stories online of can’t claim back the promised money, even for those met the 30 day limit. Different excuses were given. Total fraud, and very dishonest agent.

So i also read 3 books about Toyota and their work ethics and culture. I’m sorry but this dealer is not representing any of them.

6 Nov 2021 Saturday afternoon before the clock be dial back an hour tonight visit this RH Toyota dealership. There are many pre 2019 year cars of various makers at the front lot. When get in the show floor to check on what latest are in store. Staff kindly cautions that only Highlander is for sale. There is nothing to show. It is sorry for them and patrons consciously making a deal. I may have to see how it fares at others. Hopefully, the pandemic tunnel is near end and light is on the horizon in early 2022 with any hiccup gone.

Sharing my seamless experience purchasing a used RAV 4 from Richmond Hill Toyota. I came in with my due diligence done on SUV that I had an eye on after a week of research (mileage, safety, car fax, nice to have features, price etc). When I came in to test drive, Kris Singh showcased the car, walked through each functionality and brought to my attention minor scratches that I barely noticed from an inspection. The negotiation was pretty straightforward as I already know from research what the market looks like and what I’m willing to pay within my budget. Communication follow up was quick in terms of clarification and paper requirements to take home the car. Kris was very professional, knew his product and not your typical salesman, just knowledgeable, and followed through what he advised to deliver. Overall, was an easy transaction, pleasure doing business with you Kris as I’m truly satisfied and enjoying my 2019 Rav 4

Both my husband and I bought our first Toyota from Richmond Hill. Our sales rep was Michael Zonni and he was absolutely amazing! He was attentive to detail and prompt to answer our questions. He helped us find both our vehicles during this time of low stock during production. I found the Camry I wanted in their showroom and my husband got his CHR straight from Texas and the interior is better than expected. Michael also made the transaction smooth and assisted with insurance docs. They installed tinting for both vehicles and winter tire packages were reasonably priced. We’re both very happy with their customer service and the service department is courteous and efficient. I recommend anyone to give this dealership a visit for service above and beyond!

It has been more than 3 years of our friendship with Richmond Hill Toyota. Indeed, it is a great place to come and discuss your thoughts, ideas, plans and concerns. While some of you would ask me what makes me to be a loyal customer others would be surprised with my intention to drive 70 km from North, having Toyota dealership within 5 km from my house.

While in the area walked into Richmond Hill Toyota to have a look at their pre-owned inventory. We were welcomed by a salesman, rather, a gentleman, Yuri. Kind, respectful, not assertive at all and willing to spend the time answering questions we had about a vehicle or two we showed interest in. Yuri was polite, personable and followed through on our requests to complete a purchase. We were lucky enough to see the vehicle when it first entered the lot from it's previous owner. When we picked it up, the vehicle was immaculate! We did notice later that evening one of the front lights was weaker than the other. It was simply a bit loose; fixed in less than five minutes. Although not long, the vehicle has been great and I trust Yuri will continue to ensure we receive exceptional service throughout the years ahead. I always hold my sales person accountable for continued exceptional after-sales service. I trust I will get that with Yuri and the Richmond Hill Toyota dealership. Thank you Yuri and team!

Bought new Toyota Rav 4 XLE. Great Car but the sales team at Richmond Hill Toyota are definitely invested in their customers and making sure that the customer is completely satisfied. Ashraf Zohni is one of their sales executive and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. From start to finish he explained every detail. Ashraf was patient and very knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time with us.
We will definitely go back when other family members need a vehicle. Also want to highlight the other staff at this location. Super welcoming and helpful. From the admin staff to sales to the sales manager Tony Legere and Giovanny Arrubla the finance services manager.

I have a RAV4, I received a call from Elizabeth (she is from Oshawa branch) they had a vip sale event going on at Richmond hill branch, she called and she said she has an offer to trade my vehicle, then I went on Saturday, she set me up with a sales representative called mahdi, it seems that he was super stressed, his first words, I don’t have enough time, I have a lot of customer outside, this is a good deal for you, you should just take it, he start answering few phone calls while he was checking some information on his computer, the phone calls were for other customers, was very very disappointing meeting.

On the other hand the branch has a very good service and maintenance crew, they are always very helpful when I go visit the branch.

I have been shopping for a used vehicle for over 6 months and am still searching as of writing this review but I have to say that after being to a dozen different dealerships of all brands and sizes, the experience that I had being helped by Michael Z.was the best experience I've had. I have been in customer service for 16 years and the professional and respectful attitude that Michael provides, along with the fact that he has pride in his job and does a little bit of research to be knowledgeable and prepared for the appointment that we had is truly unmatched.

I had a terrible experience at Scarborough Toyota and was treated very disrespectfully as a woman without any car-buying experience and I had a great deal of anxiety approaching another dealership but I am glad I did. Michael was helpful, genuine, reassuring, friendly, knowledgeable, clear in his explanations, not pushy and incredibly easy to work with. I was happy to give him my business and I felt very relaxed throughout the whole process of purchasing my car. He gave me as much time as I needed to make a decision and the process could not have been smoother. I think it is unfortunately very common that women are treated very differently at car dealerships so if you don't want to stress out or feel disrespected, please do yourself a favour and go to Michael for your next car purchase. The fact that I am writing this review without him asking to should say enough! Thank you, Michael, for helping me get my first car!

I would give no star if I could!
Never go to this place, they are just ready to rip you off. I got my engine light on and I took my car to check what is wrong!
They charge me 139 $ to diagnose it!
But instead of resetting the light, they turned around and said we have change your eva system which cost you about 750 $ to replace it?
Hopefully I didn’t do it there and I went to my mechanic, he just checked and he reset it. Since then im fine and the light never came on again
Please please stop throwing you money away by going there

Ashraf Zohni treats customers like family. I leased a RAV 4 with him in 2017, and when I wanted to buy a new Corolla in May 2021, I went to him again. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly, and I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone looking for trust and professionalism when it comes to purchasing a car.

The good reviews here are fake or paid. Rocco and Ashraf draw customers in based on fake listings, only to say that the car is sold, which is such a pathetic tactic especially during COVID. Telling a person a car is there one day before, then in the morning and then 10 minutes before the meeting, only to say it is sold 10 minutes later – come on guys, a multi-million dealership can do better.

Disgusting unethical dealership. Unbelievably slimy people, demeaning to women, insulting to customers and outright shameless.

1. Called Salesman Ashraf yesterday, he confirmed 3 times, including 15 minutes before our appointment that he has the keys to the car
2. Came in to the dealership he said car was sold YESTERDAY, but asked us to look at other expensive cars – after what you did – yeah sure
3. Told him that doing such unethical scams at their age & in a multi-million $ dealership (they scoffed after they misheard me saying multi-billion, probably need hearing aids) during COVID is such a lowball tactic.
4. The manager Rocco, spoke very badly to my wife, was demeaning and insulting - told everyone to get out of his office. We were surprised that he had family pictures in the office. They would be so proud of Rocco and his dealership’s ethics (lack of).
5. We had hired a mobile mechanic who costs $150 for an inspection & had driven from Mississauga. He asked for $100 at least for his time for driving down. Our cab rides cost $80 as well ($40 each way).
6. Tried requesting that they at least compensate the mechanic for the $100. Rocco continues to demean us, at this point I don’t care about the $100. I just want to see how low his character is.
7. He offers $50 because they were unethical (pointing out several times he doesn’t have to – I actually agree, we were scammed by scammers - Rocco/ Ashraf) but this rich dealership manager says he cannot pay out of pocket even though that admitted that it was wrong and he needs to go through accounting and would pay after several days. I felt like laughing at this and we just walked off. Had a nice laugh at these 2 men’s low characters outside.

I feel for people like Ashraf and Rocco who run such a scam shop at their age. Money isn’t everything & everything isn’t about trying to win over immigrants who are new to the country, like us. Ethics, goodwill & karma are important. We may be poorer by a hard earned $180 today thanks to this silly tactic which you use, but are richer in every other aspect that the scam you guys run.

We purchased a pre-owned 2018 Sienna as a family vehicle from this dealership. We highly recommend Michael Zonni, who is knowledgeable and attentive. We bought this car in a hurry because our previous one had been stolen. After the purchase, Michael was able to arrange fixes on the scratches and answered a few concerns before delivery. And few days later, the windshield rubber moldings came loose, which is not covered under the platinum warranty, but he was able to offer repair or replacement of the moldings and explained pros and cons of both options clearly. You will be worry free if purchase through him. The dealership overall is friendly. Highly recommended.

Service people were not organized. There was no first-come-first-serve. People that came after me got served before me. I spent at least an hour and fifteen minutes for a fifteen minute service. Spoke to manager, Daniel Kozak who apologized that they were short-staffed and didn't have a greeter that day.

Absolute Nightmare! " - Vijay
We wanted to buy a Toyota Camry Hyrbrid. We were given a VIP appointment with a Sales person to do the test drive. So one Saturday we went there all the way from Brampton and took the test drive. We spent sometime going over the deals, features and colors and liked a car in 2018 model but was not available in the white color we wanted. We left that day to be in touch with the sales person. After a wait of two weeks, after multiple back and forth conversations we were told we would be getting a 2019 model in the color white. We went through the deal and once satisfied with the lease payment and other terms provided all the relevant information to get financing and ownership in our name. VIN number of the new car was provided to us and we also moved the insurance from our old car to new car. A day was finalised for pickup and we took Uber, picked my daughter half day from school and went excitedly to pick our new car. Once we reached, the sales man showed the license plate number and showed our car. We took pictures of our new car and the sales person said that with in the next 15 minutes once the finance papers are signed we should get going. We met the finance manager (Amir) and when we were going through the paper work realised an issue with the lease term. He questioned the sales person and he and the sales person were gone for quite sometime to figure it out. After 5 minutes the sales person returned with his manager (Tony) and told us there was an issue. The car we chose was not for us at all and that it needs to go to a different customer. They said we should be getting a 2018 and not 2019 model, it was an administrative mistake on their part. WTH? We were shocked and said we are not at fault and should be given the deal we agreed upon. We said our time, energy spent the whole two weeks through the whole process were wasted. They said don't jump on the mistakes, ' Don't you make mistakes? " either take your deposit back or we can find you a 2018 car.

We were so frustrated. They made such a big blunder and on top of that had the audacity to question us. What if we had driven the vehicle home if we didn't have an issue with the papers? After a while we slowly digested what happened and asked them to find a 2018 vehicle. They did find a demo model and after further back and forth discussions for 3 hours a deal was finalised, and they agreed to give us snow tires, remote start and rust proof free of cost as a kind gesture towards what happened to us. We were surprised and again sat with the finance guy to sign the papers. We wanted to check the breakup of the deal before signing only to find that what ever was added as complimentary were already charged in the final price. ATROCIOUS RIGHT! WHAT BIG LIARS THEY WERE!
When asked to remove the cost of those things, the finance guy (Amir) said he can not deal with us and said he was going to eat and called the sales person and sales manager (Toni) to deal with us. Sales manager was even worse. He said, he never said he was giving it free and asked us why we should give it free? Now all the mistake made on their part was completely forgotten. He said either take it or leave it. I don't even want to do the deal with you guys anymore.

We felt very humiliated, never ever have we been so insulted before in this beautiful country that too for no fault of ours. We left home exhausted, It was like we were begging them for something. Even Walmart or No Frills if they bill us incorrectly would give the stuff for free or give some discounts. The management had absolute lack of courtesy and did not try to satisfy the customer even a single bit. Sales person (Mush) was witness to all that happened, he agreed to our side of the story but he couldn't help us in anyway.

To top it all when called and expressed my grievance to TOYOTA, they said all they can do is record a dissatisfaction report! Simply SUPERB!

I paid $1300.00 of which $670.00 was labor to cover 3 hours of work between 9 AM (checked in) and 12 noon when asked to come to pick up the car! This is over $220/hr which is not fare from a dealer I used to buy all cars and maintain them at the same location. Time to consider other options.

I came to Richmond Hill Toyota with my wife to see if we could trade in her 8 year old RAV4 and buy a new RAV4 at good terms. Sales executive Ashraf Zohni was very friendly, attentive and helpful, he suggested several options and then proceeded with the one we picked with an amazing efficiency. He took care of our old vehicle assessment, and also offered very attractive discounts and bonuses. If my wife hadn't wanted to have new license plates, we could have driven our new SUV the same day. Avoid thid this place for your time, money, nerve sake. I got 2 cars from this place in this year. Highly frustrated with sales people attitudes. I have alot to say but no need to waste my time.

Vehicle went in for an alignment and extended remote starter.
Long line up to see an attendant. There is no single spot to stand in the vehicle drop off bay so attendants don’t know who’s next to be seen. Had to wander around before I found someone who was free.

Everything was explained in great detail by the service rep. He was very professional and informative.

Was advised to do some brake work which I agreed to.

I got an Uber back home and during the day the same service rep called me to inform me how things were going. Also gave me some recommendations for a balance and when I told him I’m getting a rim replaced he told me not to worry about it now then. Was not pushy at all and looked after my interests which was awesome.

The only complaint I have is when I got home after picking up the vehicle was one of my tire stem caps was missing. It must have come off when the technician was removing the tires for the brake job; should have been noticed by the technician as the stems are gold and the caps are black. Rims are black and red so seeing gold really stands out. I should have noticed before I left but didn’t think they would ever go missing.

I also know they were on the vehicle before I go there as the night before I had the rims inspected.

I would have removed a 1/2 star from my review but really as I think about it the tire cap going missing isn’t much of a cost to replace. Just hope the technician gives enough care to the rest of the jobs they do.

The service is super good, environment is friendly. Their also have very details information for my car, what have to check, I don't need to worry about it.

Very unorganized dealer. Waiting 45 min for just sign the paper in 2 min. I sent the complain online the operator told me the manager will call back. Never happened.

Oil change time, they are just thinking of money. Offer some services even don’t need you. Not trustable at all.
