Adrian the experienced technician who just installed my Ecobee 6 premium Wifi thermostat was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and my wife. Rick Menard Heating & Cooling, a locally family owned business are the best and most reliable. If their price quotation is reasonable for the recommended high efficiency heat pump l will go for it since they are the most experienced in the business

The technicien was on time. He verified the equipment based on my comments. He made the necessary maintenance and explained to me how to start the pilot if it shot off by itself. He also answer my question regarding the Ecobee thermostat. He was very polite and helpful.

Our furnace had begun to make strange noises. We contacted Rick Menard and Maxime came out a day or so later to diagnose the problem. Expecting the worst, we were very pleased that Maxime was able to quickly fix the problem! He was polite, thorough and knew what he was doing. We’ll continue to contact Rick Menard for anything to do with heating and AC!

Fantastic company. We've had them do work on furnaces on a few occasions over the years and have received excellent service every time. The technicians are professional, courteous, and always take the time to explain the work and to answer questions. We had a murky warranty issue recently with a poor quality part and they proactively addressed it in a very fair and helpful way. Highly recommended.

Our furnace went on the blink and we were speaking with someone immediately to trouble shoot. We needed a new furnace and it was here and installed almost the same day.
Staff were great and service beyond reproach.
We had an air conditioner installed by them prior so this level of service is consistent.

Maxime changed our hot water mixing valve. He was careful, no mess, and cleaned up perfectly. He also took time to explain what he did and that I needed to monitor the valve for leaks in the next twenty-four hours as a precaution.

These folks serviced our full HVAC system (furnace, AC, and gas fireplace) after we moved into our home (about 2 years ago). They were professional and courteous. They cleaned and serviced everything and resolved a few minor issues. Great to have peace of mind that things were all working properly!

Right from the initial consultation with Keith right through to the final walk through for our new furnace and heat pump, everyone was professional and explained everything thoroughly. I had a minor issue with the water pump attached to the furnace which I seemingly fixed myself but not being a pro at this stuff, I called in Rick Menard to make sure all was ok. Max showed up and fortunately he was able to confirm my “fix” was workable. However he then proceeded to check out the furnace and quickly found a major part had an issue. He arranged for a replacement part to be quickly delivered to the house and installed it. Turns out the faulty part only had one year remaining on the warranty. Fortunately his diligence found the issue before either the part totally failed or the warranty expired. Saved me $900 or more right there on the spot. Great job guys! Highly recommended!

I reached out on a Wednesday and had a team member come by to have a look at my non-functioning furnace same day, right before noon. He answered all my questions and was able to get me a quote and schedule an install for 8am the next day. Given that overnight prices were falling to -25 that week, the expedience was much appreciated. Despite my urgency I didn't feel pressured or like I was being gouged and a subsequent conversation with a couple of neighbors who had furnace installs done, the price was right in line with expectations.
The next day two installers arrived just after 8am laid out floor covering and got right to it. By noon the furnace was running, the minor exhaust and drain modifications that were quoted were done, and they were gone. Overall, seamless and I'm very happy a neighbor recommended this company.

Our furnace died over the weekend. We contacted Rick Menard’s service and received a response within an hour. They came to evaluate our situation Monday morning and by Tuesday afternoon our new furnace was installed and we had heat again. Alexandre and Mikael did the installation. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves when the work was completed. They explained what we needed to know and showed us how to use our new thermostat. Would definitely recommend this company for heating and cooling needs.

My furnace stopped working on a cold winter day. I found Rick Menard Heating & Cooling online. They were rated almost 5 out of 5. Without hesitation, I called them. Scheduling was very easy. Maxime arrived. He was very professional. He fixed the problem straight. He also thoroughly inspected everything in the furnace and eveything attached to the furnace. While he was doing the job, he explained everything to me, and made suggestions on how to keep good maintenance of it. Maxime is not only knowledgeable, but also humorous. I enjoyed the chat with him. The price? Very reasonable! I definitely will have them back in the future when I need service again.

We are huge Rick Menard H&C fans at our house. They have serviced our furnace and a/c regularly over the years are always excellent. Today, however, was an even-more-impressive than usual case. Our furnace stopped working overnight. I called for emergency service at 7: 30 am, and Benoit was at our door by 9: 00 am. Minutes later he had diagnosed the problem, and an hour (and one new motor) later the furnace was back up and running. It is -21 here at the moment, the kids are home from school, and the temps are dropping out to -30 tonight. There is never a good time for the HVAC to go sideways but we are very relieved to have heating restored so quickly with all of that going on. Benoit was excellent throughout the entire process - very informative and professional with lots of good advice around furnace maintenance and options for the future. Huge thanks to him and Charles for the quick response today and we would absolutely recommend Rick Menard.

Just bought a new furnace and central air. Took an extra couple of weeks to deliver, but that was understandable given the global supply chain disruptions at the time (Covid). The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working - they paid attention to detail and made the install look good, replacing some extra pieces purely for aesthetics. I've called RMHC several times over the last 20 years for maintenance, and always been impressed with their staff.

Although they don't have a flashy website or run radio ads, Rick Menard is a business you want to use for your HVAC needs. It feels like a family run business, where the owner cares for every customer. I tried to get quotes for a ductless mini-split A/C and RM was one of two who responded. And they were the only ones with the product we were looking for. Right from the start we felt being in good hands. They do their own installation and don't subcontract. The installation crew was professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves. If you see happy employees, you know the company is doing things right. The administration is similarly professional. The final product is amazing and I cannot stop to brag about the quietness and the functionality to friends and neighbors. So yes I will recommend RM every time.

The Menard team was right on time and knew the extent of the work required. They worked straight through and completed re-installing ducts, a new furnace, a new water line and both cleaning and rehooking the a/c. Everything was cleaned up and taken away by day's end. First class job!
