Rideau Canal, Locks 39-42 - Jones Falls

Lovely area with a series of interconnected lakes and locks. There isn’t loads to see really but worth a visit if you’re in the area. The hotel near the entrance has a very rustic old world appearance and somewhat mixed online reviews.

Love the experience of going through locks. This one (I should say these ones ;) ) are the best.

This is one of the largest locks on the Rideau with a 59’ height difference travelling through. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
