I will be honest used to love this place. Can't say I feel the same. 1st time I have been back in 2 yrs. Was so pumped to have it again and they have totally changed there standards. The mac and cheese isn't the same and the seitan which I have always loved. Definitely wasn't the same. I used to love eating it cold the next day or even a tad warm it was dope. Nope it was grose. Not the same. My husband and gf agreed. It was 2 yrs for us all since being back. Only thing that was dope was the SNICKERS BAR. Mmmm

The prices are a bit high for my family’s budget (almost $30 for small Mac n cheese and potato wedges) however the flavours blew my mind! Hands down, the best Mac n cheese I have ever had in my life. Next time I’ll get a large, it’s worth it. I love the toasted broccoli topping and the sauce was perfect as well as the cook in the noodles. I’m still drooling thinking of it! The potato wedges were a generous portion, a little too salty but cooked well. The chipotle sauce tho, omg it was unreal tasting. I was so impressed and satisfied. It filled 2 ppl and I say it’s worth the price. I just am too poor to afford it all the time lol. I love that it’s all vegan as well. Highly recommend those items! Ps, the service was great!

My family LOVES this restaurant & recommend it (highly) to everyone we know that will be in the vicinity. They actually catered our wedding back in 2015, as we wanted delicious vegan food that everyone would enjoy & trusted that they could provide that. They did not disappoint!

The selection is small enough that each dish is crafted perfectly, but with enough variance that you can try something new & quality of the dishes are top-notch My absolute favourites are the stuffed mushrooms, lemon kale salad & the BBQ seitan "wings". The BBQ sauce is spoon worthy & you can purchase it separately (don't sleep on this. I put it on EVERYTHING & like dipping carrots in it, both because it's a vehicle to get the sauce into my person & because it improves everything it touches). They also have a whole selection of desserts, if that's your thing.

The atmosphere is delightful; whimsical & intimate, with great art on display & a perfect spot for catching up with Loved Ones. The staff are hardworking, creative & care about their craft. All in all, a Must Try if you're in the area (& worth the time & energy to BE in the area to give this gem a go). Xo

Absolutely one of my favourite place to eat in St Catharines. Whatever the soup of the day is, get it. Whatever the chef special is, get it. Just eat there ok?

One of the first meals I had there was a chef special in the fall a year back, it was a pumpkin gnocchi I think. Delightfully al-dente beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. Anytime I'm passing through, I'll try to pick up their soup of the day with some bread. I'm never disappointed.

I am a fan of all food, and the fact it's vegan is just a bonus. Give them a try! They deserve it. They level up the food game - they rise above the rest.

Rise Above truly lives up to its reputation as a fan favorite. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff member who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was simply incredible, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.

The pesto grilled cheese was an absolute delight, perfectly combining the rich flavors of pesto with the comforting goodness of grilled cheese. It was a mouthwatering experience that left me craving for more. And let's not forget about the chicken wings! They were cooked to perfection, offering a tantalizing blend that was both delicious and flavorful.

Overall, our visit to Rise Above was a delight. With their great dishes, excellent staff, and unforgettable atmosphere, it's no wonder why this place is beloved by fans. I highly recommend giving it a try and indulging in their scrumptious offerings. You won't be disappointed!

The absolute best homemade vegan food in Niagara, hands down. The service, ambiance, and incredible unique vegan food are all top notch.

What a fantastic experience! The moment we stepped into this lovely atmosphere of coolness, relaxed and super stylish, sustainable vibes - our entire family including my teenage daughter were in love!
The food was delicious! We took potatoe wedgies with spicy mayo, artichoke salad and ginger sesame tofu salad. Let me tell you - the portions were BIG, we thought we'll take half of it with us! But the best thing - the ingredients were so fresh, we didn't realized we finished everything and left empty plates wanting more! The chef really cares about the client's experience enjoying healthy, filling and unique dining experience! Would recommend this hidden GEM to everyone!

We keep going back, and we're not vegan!

My fiancé and I decided to bite the bullet after hearing nothing but positive reviews about Rise Above. After dining in, we were so disappointed that we hadn't tried this place sooner!

I got the Seitan "Buffalo Chicken" sandwich special and it was so great that we came back later in the week (just so that I could have it again). My fiancé got the killer crunch wrap, and it was also really delicious.

Genuinely love the size of their wedges as well (they are LEGIT wedges; nothing small and skimpy!). Their wedges supreme are *chef's kiss* (one of us always gets them as a side).

Overall, love this spot. Definitely recommend!

The spinach artichoke dip was amazing!

Where to start! Well the oyster mushroom poboy is fantastic and the stuff mushrooms are incredible. Those little bite size treats are a mouth full of fabulous collaboration, nicely balancing a complexity of flavors. The servers are attentive, kind and unobtrusive. Excellent all around!

Amazing restaurant! The food is 100% vegan and 100% good. As a non-vegan myself, I did not feel like I was missing a single thing.

I had the seitan wings and would highly recommend them. I had them with the maple garlic sauce and they were just perfect.

Looking forward to trying more dishes in the future.

Sooo delicious, absolutely love the mac and cheese and potato wedges! One of my favourite places to eat in st kitts!

Sadly my favourite flavour of the wings is gone and haven’t ordered from here since they took it off the menu.

Edit: it’s been months since I posted this and still the flavour isn’t available on Door Dash nor on Skip the Dishes. Still pretty bummed

A very cool restaurant.love the vibe. The food is delicious and everything is fresh. I'm not even a vegetarian and I loved it. I had the beet burger and it was so yummy. I can't wait to go back.
