River Grove Community Centre

The indoor pool at the community center offers a nice space for swimming and relaxing. The pool was clean and well-maintained overall, but unfortunately, during my visit, someone vomited in the pool and it was not cleaned up promptly. This was disappointing as it affected the overall cleanliness of the pool water. The staff did attempt to clean it up, but it took quite some time and several swimmers left as a result.

On the positive side, the hot tub was a notable feature of the facility. It was large and provided a great spot to relax and unwind. The temperature was just right, and it was not too crowded during my visit.

Overall, while I did enjoy my time at the indoor pool, the incident with the vomit left a negative impression. It is important for the staff to monitor the pool and address any issues promptly to maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Despite this setback, the facility has potential to be a great spot for swimming and relaxation if cleanliness is prioritized.

It's a decent place organizing various Events, Activities encouraging to meet everyone in our Community to get together have fun and share our wellbeing.

While this place may seem suitable for families looking to engage their children in sports activities, I must highlight a major issue with their road rules, specifically related to entering and exiting the center island (roundabout). It's beyond comprehension that they encourage bi-directional traffic in this area, which is not only unsafe but also likely unheard of in the entire world. It's a disaster waiting to happen, particularly considering that children and senior citizens frequent this place. I strongly advise caution if you decide to visit. Roundabouts should have one entry in and exit out the other way not 2 way traffic.

Very friendly staff and on time appointments without delays. I would highly recommend them.

Swim lessons for all ages at Rivergrove Community Centre. There are male, female and family change rooms. Great facilities and good instructors. Two pools available for lessons, kiddie pool for younger kids and lane swim pool for more advanced swimmers. Water slides and a hot tub are some extra perks. Pools are also fully accessible.

Kids will love this place. They have high slide for the pool that kids will truly enjoy. Friendly staff and clean place. Recommended

Very friendly and patient staff. Used the squash court a few times, facility is in decent condition.

It was very clean and sanitized. Staff was well versed with the COVID situation and had a great method to come in and check in.

An amazing place for all ages! A HUGE variety of activities to choose from, which includes stuff like tennis, basketball, swimming and tons more!

We went there for few rallys. There are 3 tennis courts and as per usual it's 30 mins per court so do not be shy to ask once you have waited. Please note there are no lights so you have to plan properly if you enjoy playing in the early evening.

I have used almost all facilities at this community centre and can say it's one of the best in the city. Three baseball diamonds, a beautiful walking trail that leads to scenic points throughout, a huge pool for both adults and children with a water slide, basketball and squash courts and dedicated change rooms for the pool and fitness centre separate. In particular my favorite part about this facility is the absolutely massive hot tub in the pool area which can easily fit 30 people. As with all community centres in Mississauga, it's clean and the staff is friendly. Always a pleasure to attend.

This facility is really nice and clean. However I am questioning about the ability of the Maintenance department. An issue with the hair drier in the men's pool change room that has been reported a few times in the past few months but it has not been fixed. This morning I requested to see the mechanic and two of them (a lady and a gentleman) showed up, I told them that I would like to show them the drier in question, the lady said okay but the gentleman said he is aware of the problem but it is a not an easy fix. They then just walked away. I think the problem could probably be easily fixed by simply adjusting the sensitivity pot or replace it if it is defective

Very nice place. We went for a friend's daughter 1st birthday. The room was very nice, good size kitchen and it looked like the staff take care of things very well. Looks like it is a community Centre that has rooms, gym, pool etc. Good job.

The staff here are my favourite they're the absolute kindest and it makes such a huge difference. They're really efficient and generally helpful, and the personal trainers are great at helping anyone out and answering questions!

Best community ctr. Except the racially motivated lady working on saturday mornings in red high heels. Come on she needs to go.

I used it mainly for the weight room, but there are also many other amenities available, such as squash and swimming. The price is very reasonable compared to a typical gym. There are plenty of free weights (dumbell, bench, squat racks, deadlift area) as well as machines. It is never really crowded except during peak hours.
You can cancel at any time (they pro-rate the month), with only a small cancellation fee of ~$10.
The only downside is that the gym isn't as "hardcore", so if you are the type who gets motivated by the presence of many other heavy lifters, then this might not be the ideal place.

Love it there, fabulous facility, only been going there for 3 days, my energy level has almost triple, and, am sleeping a deeper more restful sleep.

The place seems clean, well organized, friendly and responsive and helpful staff.
The pool is rather busy and even the fast lane isn't that fast.

Went to the gym very often. I used a stair machine every day. But when it was 2019 they took it away and trashed it. Very disappointed

Recently renovated community centre with huge pool, fitness centre and lots of free parking. It connects to the Culham trail which is miles of trails for walking, running or biking.

River grove is the best community center for exercise, swimming and for sports activities. Cooperative staff.

Haven't been there for many years but was so impressed to find that the place has been well maintained when I went there last week.

I wish they cleaned this place a bit. The swimming area change rooms are filthy, full of spit and hair. They never seem to clean it as they dont even have hose to wash these change rooms down. Shower stalls are dirty, the shower curtains are moldy and half ripped. They allow people to go in the pool wearing any type of clothing. I have seen people walk in with track pants and long tshirts. Very unsanitary. Gym is smelly.

Go there to go to the gym, fitness classes, and pool as well as the jacuzzi. The largest jacuzzi I have ever seen. 15 to 20 people use it at a time. I also enjoy looking out the jazuzzi into a view of the park.

It was good, we were there for a pool party.
The pool was very nice and clean - and did not have too much chlorine. The water slides were great for all ages.
The family changeroom is refreshingly the largest of the changerooms - which made things much easier!

Everyone there is super nice and the ambience is very calming. The water has a strong smell of bleach. I find the waiting lines odd,
Insted of paying and wating to go inside (for example if the pool is open for a fun swim at 6: 45) they make you pay at 6: 45 instead of being able to pay earlier which ttherefore means you lose time wating in line. This is why I suggest going early.

Busy entrance to the place is a challenge parking another challenge not a place to relax feel like a sweat shop

Great community center with fantastic pool facilities that are very clean. It also has squash courts, gym, and senior activities like table tennis.

I would say that its not worth getting a day pass if you're only going to work out at the gym as there really isn't a whole lot of equipment and the place can become a little crowded and costs over $10 per visit. However if you're going for swimming etc and classes than it may be worth it. I go here for swimming often. Friendly staff and generally a good family environment.

A totally fun and well planned swimming pool for recreation purposes. I hosted a birthday celebration here the lifeguards were friendly considerate and very accommodating. The whole experience from reserving the facility to the accessing and set up of the room was smooth. I appreciate the staff named Carlos, calling me in advance to check how I would like the party room laid out and advising me of the facilities of the centre. I highly recommend hosting a party here or even visiting for fun swim.
