Fool me once shame on you.
This place is interested in just how much they can squeeze out of any insurance you might have.
Toxic feminism is also on tap. You can feel the hate and disrespect when ignored at the reception and your direction disregarded from the help, as they scowl and yammer. They’ll lie right at you.
No people skills.a horrific experience. I feel as though my human rights have been violated.

Unfortunate experience; ultimately patients’ health is not a priority in this clinic. The dentist chose to treat my 6 year old son baby tooth instead of his permanent tooth without clearly communicating what was going to happen on the day of the treatment. There was no informed parental consent; just assumptions. When politely expressing the situation to the dentist and manager looking for a solution and treat the permanent tooth (maybe through a discount or payment plan) there was no consideration for the health of my boy…. I was simply brushed away. Payment for the job done was honoured but will be looking for a better experience somewhere else.

Been having a wonderful experience by the amazing family hearted dental hygienist Luzviminda Lopez! Your teeth will be well cared for in her hands.

People are nice. They remind you your appointment. My dentist Mona is fantastic and she is bilingual. She speaks French fluently.

Avoid this location!

Dr Rahmi is extremely unprofessional. She reminded me every visit I have a lot of cavities (which after going to a professional dentist, I’m convinced she scammed me). She was not accommodating to dental anxiety, if anything, she made it worse. My final visit with her was the last straw. She was an hour and a half late. I didn’t receive an apology. Instead, I was told I need to cooperate because she has other patients waiting (she actually said that). This was also while a new assistant who I believe I was her first patient at this location was pressing on my tongue non stop with the tube causing me to have a gag reflex. The dentist also was dealing with other patients too while I was getting my teeth filled leaving the room constantly. At the end, she said nothing to me and just left. The assistant also just left to deal with something else. I had to take off the bib on my own and escorted myself out. I said something to the receptionist and you know it’s bad when the receptionist tells me many people complain about this dentist too.

After all this too, another dentist at a different location had to fix up three fillings they messed up. They also told me at one point I had money on my insurance when I didn’t. $700 later, I was told to pay the bill on the spot.

Dr. Mona was so patient and understanding with my 2 year old son and he was full of energy - she did an excellent job taking care of my boy and his teeth are better for it!

Very friendly and great team of people and dentist I’ve been going there for years and I’m never disappointed.:)

My dentist Dr. Firouzeh was amazing on my family's first visit. She made our children feel safe and comfortable during their procedures. The warmth and empathy she shows makes you feel as though youve known her for years. Her assistant is always ready and willing to give a helping hand and making my procedure was less stressful. I later went to see DR. Firouzeh to close a gap in the middle of my mouth. The results had me literally in tears of joy. My smile was bright and i had no more reasons to hide my teeth. The doctor/dentist Dr. Firouzeh helped create confidence in my evryday living. I feel more beautiful. Thank you Dr. Firouzeh AKA Dr. Fay for your wonderful work, you're hands are truly a blessing into my life.

I continually return to Riverdale dental due to the phenomenal care of dental hygienist Angelina. She is always personable, efficient, and thorough.

I have been going to this clinic for a while now and I had an amazing experience as usual. Dr. Sarah Mortezania is well experienced in her field and most dedicated towards her patients. Highly recommend her!

This place is one of the reasons why I absolutely HATED going to the dentist. While the admin staff were kind and polite, the dentist I saw was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The only reason why I even went to Riverdale Dental in the first place is because I was specifically looking for a clinic that works with anxious patients and their website literally has a section dedicated to anxious patients. There was never a greater lie. I thought I would be in the best hands.

In reality, the dentist literally told me to stop pretending that I was in pain. This lady actually seemed angry at me for expressing the dental sensitivity that I explicitly said I had and felt nervous about. I don't know if she was simply having a bad day but she needs to learn how to express basic empathy for the sake of those around her.

Asides from the dentist, the clinic also has very old x-ray technology but you wouldn't think that based on what they charge. They have also repeatedly ignored my new clinic's requests for my x-ray records so I had to pay to get new ones.

My new clinic is a HUGE upgrade and they have helped me come a long way. I am *so happy* I never went back to Riverdale. Seriously - for essentially the same price you can find waaaaay better care somewhere else in the city.

All three of my kids go to Riverdale dental and their staff is highly professional, skilled and accommodating. A special shout out to the front desk staff who are super flexible and helpful and coordinating our complex school schedules.

I had appointment with hygienist name Ahmed. Really great service, he did great job with teeth cleaning.

I like coming to Riverdale Dental. Customer service is good, and the staff are welcoming and warm. Luzviminda really does a good job as a hygienist. I also appreciate that they accept Assignments/direct payments. It's very convenient. I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so.

The level of incompetence is match only by the time and money they wasted. They will say they can do a procedure that is about money and not ability to get the job done. I have to go somewhere else to undo their horrible work that I still have to pay to get undone. I would never trust them again. Go somewhere else. Or you will regret it.

I thought it was great - friendly, efficient service and the Dentist Dr. Mona Mohsen took the time to explain what she was doing, make recommendations for future work, and let me know what I shouldn't be eating to keep my specific fillings working.

The staff, dentists and hygienists are great! I recommend Dr. Sara who always focuses on causes of an issue and takes the best and safest actions to keep you healthy.

Before visiting Riverdale Dental, I had always been very distressed at the thought of going to the dentist, given that I have very sensitive teeth and had previously negative experiences at other dental clinics.
First of all, the reception at this clinic was very patient and accommodating to my class schedule as an upper year student at York University. Then,
Dr. Mona Mohsen’s amazing bedside manner was perfectly reassuring, greeting me with a very welcoming smile. During the cleaning, she constantly checked on how I felt to adapt the treatment to my comfort level. She finished the job with plenty of attention to detail and helping me gain a smile I am happy to show! I can honestly no longer even imagine what I thought would be so frightening about visiting the dentist and I am actually looking forward to my next appointment with Dr. Mona Mohsen!

I have never been to a dental office that made me feel so comfortable. I came for a check up after not seeing a dentist for a very long time. I saw Dr Rahimi. She completed my exam, and went over all of my X-rays in detail in a way that I could understand. She was kind and did not rush me. The treatment she provided was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

I didn't just go in for my 6 month cleaning:
Let me tell you my meaning.

Not only do I feel so welcomed when I go:
They don't only just talk to me, But they show.

By asking me how I have been?:
As they are escorting me in.

Into the room where the miracles take place:
There you sit comfortably mask to face.

You know your in good hands as you open your mouth wide:
And each tooth and gums get cleaned all around inside.

I have never felt rushed to get out of the chair:
To me I've spent just the right amount of time there.

Once the cleanings been done:
And your mouth feels great!:
Time to appoint another one.
And will just have to wait.

They messed up my front teeth.made them crooked and sharp like they wernt bonded properly.i had to pay $1700 to another dentist to get them fixed. Do not go to this dentist unless you want to get ripped off.

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would. My family and I (12 in total) are all old patients of Dr Rotman, who has left this place and I can see why. This place treats patients like cattle, the service is more about quantity over quality. I had the most horrible experience with the dentist, the receptionist were unprofessional. When I got into the appt the hygienist was not informed about me being a diabetic, my medication or that I suffer from extremely sensitive teeth and anxiety. So because of this she spent a good 20mins dealing with my file. So, the dentist freezes my mouth and the hygienists does her thing. After about 75% of my mouth was done, I was asked to leave the room and rebook another cleaning. The reason for this, apparently The hygienist had already spent an hour on my teeth. My face was frozen, I had the top part and half the bottom part of my mouth done and was asked to come back to finish having my cleaning done. Yup. QUANITY OVER QUALITY.

IN RESPONSE TO STAFF MANAGER

I expressed to both dentist and hygienist that due to my sensitivity and extreme anxiety that i would prefer to do it all in one setting, I was told okay. After only 75% of my teeth were done, I was asked to leave the room because I had been in the chair a hour. I had to demand that my teeth finish being cleaned, even tho I had already expressed my anxiety issues, which were not taken into consideration at all.
I do agree with my blood pressure being checked, but why was my medical file and meds not confirmed when your receptionist called (the day before my appt) to make sure my insurance from work was still valid for your payments, but updating my medical file was not a priority, even tho I had not been there for over 2yrs.why because you treat your patients like a $$ sign, it's about quanity, not quality. I was treated horrible by your dentist, the receptionist was rude, she injected herself into the conversation the dentist and I were having. She did what we like to call in corp.transfer blame, where you blame the patient and what I was blamed for.having anxiety and sensitive teeth and that was causing the appt to take too long, Hence why I was told to rebook. AGAIN I HAD TO DEMAND TO HAVE MY TEETH CLEANING FINISHED. IMO based on how I was made to feel, this place of business has no EMPATHY for ppl with mental health/anxiety regarding the dentist. I have worked in Customer Relations in both telecommunications and media for 24yrs. Trust me when I say I know BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE/BUSINESS and this office definitely meets the criteria.

My husbands family (12 in total) are long time patients of Dr. Rotman who has now left and we can see why. The service at this place lacks professionalism and is more about their bottom line then quality care. After the treatment some of our family members have received we will be definitely be finding a new provider of care.

Strongly not suggest to go to Dr. Mona. She's awful, she damaged my teeth. She is really unprofessional, impatient, inexperienced. I had back and forth gone back to her for a couple times, and she still couldn't find out the problem that she created for me, eventually I had to switch to another dentist, and got the tooth fixed, however, the damage was too bad, still, my teeth (canine) was not perfectly fixed, I feel sore when flossing it, the other tooth that Dr. Mona fixed when I first went see her is now showing problem in less than two months, now I can not chew on my right side, because it's sore and tender when I chew, but I was totally fine before seeing her. They charged me for the examination fees for switching to another dentist, but I refused to pay for my second time filling for the same teeth, even though they seems reluctant, I mean for good customer service and patient care centered, they should not charge me at all.

If it was up to me I would rate this 0/5. I brought my child to this clinic and the dentist he’s an elder man he was super roUgh with my child.my child was uncomfortable and cried the whole procedure. Never again will return to this clinic. Instead go to cabbage town on Wellesley & parliament she is super gentle and care for the well being of the child experience, not to dramatize the child.

Dr. Mohsen is absolutely professional at all times. She goes out of her way to make me, the patient, comfortable and explains everything she does. In fact, my whole family sees her and trusts her. Thank you, Dr. Mohsen!

Had a great hygienist there who left, they said that she retired but Joylin is now at Le Dentistry at Danforth near Donlands

Like all the other comments, stay away. The most unprofessional, rude and racist customer service ever. My parents walked in asking if they did implant repairs. Receptionist told us they don't take new patients (even though on the store front, they have a huge sign saying they accept new patients. They should take that down, ok fine. Maybe the sign is old) and then proceeded to tell us to go to the 3rd floor dentist because they were Chinese like us. Uh, are you serious? How is this even acceptable when we live in the most diverse city in the world! You're better off going to Queen Street Dental, where the staff are friendly and the dentists are knowledgable.

Brutal incompetence, lack of process, lack of understanding of how referrals work. I would only recommend to go if you need your teeth cleaned, anything more complex I would not trust the ability or knowledge to have done. Definitely not evidence based or patient centred.
