Awesome portion sizes for the price. I eat here at least twice a week and have never been disappointed.

OMG! Just ate here with my boyfriend. The BEST Italian sandwich we have ever had! Authentic Italian bread and toppings galore (I am vegetarian and was not disappointed!)! Young staff that are so helpful, kind, and pleasant…hope that the owner realizes what great employees he has hired. See you again!

For the first time going to this well rated place, I was intrigued to find it inside a corner store. With a lot of good options to choose from on their menu, I will certainly have to go back. Italian trio/spicy, they have lots of awesome toppings which results in a phenomenal sandwich.

Don't let the gas bar fool you, no mistaking this Italian sandwich shop. The gentlemen there are on the ball and ready to serve you with all the meats, cheeses and condiments. I will be back for another sandwich soon, with a dessert!

Best sandwich I’ve ever had. Used to be a regular at DiRienzos for a long time but this is miles better.

Excellent Italian sandwiches where you can specify the ingredients. Sandwiches are around 8-12 $ with generous fillings. There are also salads such as pasta salads etc. I liked the chicken Parmesan sandwich especially. A few desserts also There is also individual dishes that you can take home to up like tortellini and lasagna and similar. Also have samosas including vegetarian ones. They carry Italian soft drinks

This place is a hidden gem! Best Italian deli sandwich I've ever had. The staff was crazy nice. I went and the place was packed and they still had me in and out in less than 5-8mins. If your looking for a great little lunch spot then this is the place.

Please don't go, its such a hidden gem i don't want it to become too popular! Joke aside its one of the best sandwiches you can have in Ottawa. #7 until i die

We hosted a business meeting at our office and ordered soup and sandwiches for the group. We absolutely loved it all! We shared the location with our employees so that they can stop in for a delicious lunch, and one of our truck teams mentioned that he had lunch there last week and LOVED it! Have to share a good thing with others!

I've past by dozens of times and always figured this was just a cheap knock off of Subway. Was around for lunch and decided to give them a shot due to the reviews, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, the prices were good, but most importantly was the quality of their food. Any sandwich shop that slices their meat in house is a place I want to give my business to. The location might raise questions as to quality, but it is well worth checking out.

I am addicted to their Italian wedding soup. I make that kind of soup at home all of the time but theirs is superior. Their meatballs are delicious and the broth is perfect. I've had nearly everything on their menu and I have never been disappointed. Excellent place to order lunch from on UberEats. Their amazing food combined with their unbeatable prices make me a repeat customer. I have it at least 8 or 9 times a month. One of my favourites.

By far and without question, the best sandwiches in town. The Robertos crew definitely give you more than your money's worth. You will not be sorry. Highly recommended.

I never take the time to write reviews but as I eat my Uber order here I am. The prices are amazingly inexpensive, the portions are large. My soup came piping hot and was double what I thought I would get for $5.99.7.99 pasta is a full portion and garlic bread was enough for me and someone else to be satisfied. WOW best in Ottawa. I will be ordering from here religiously. I’m glad I took the time to scroll the hidden restaurants on the app.

I never thought I'd find a deli better than Frank's in Ottawa, but here we are. Sandwiches are elite, packed with toppings, made fresh, the desserts are good. A million times better than you'd expect from a sandwich shop in a gas station. Telling everybody I know that they have to try Roberto's Corner!

Worst experience ever! Arrived 35 minutes before the store closed and was told that they couldn't serve sandwiches because everything had to be put away for closing which is at 9 pm! Ridiculous! Do not go here!

I live across the street and have been going to Roberto's since he opened and its hands down the best service in Ottawa and the value and quality are also second to none! Thank you Roberto and your incredibly friendly staff!

I had heard about this place from the Outlook online newsletter. They recommended the Friday porchetta sandwich among other things. OMG, It did not disappoint! The porchetta was sitting in a huge container and I could tell it was the real deal. Best sandwich and I even had some crackling in mine Will be back! (go early - they sell out!)

I was in the area and chose this place purely on its 4.9 rating. I am glad to report that it was a good decision. I would give it 5.1 stars if I could)

Hidden gem!

I had one Italian trio for lunch, finished in 5mins came back later to get 3 more!

This hidden gem (in a gas station Quickie) has THE BEST sandwiches around. They load them so good, I can barely make it through half a sandwich.and they are super reasonably priced. Consistently fresh and delicious with a better selection of toppings than your average Subway. They have other delicious Italian food as well - and some dang good cannolis. Always have fast and friendly service. 10/10 do recommend. *drooling intensifies*

Stopped here after visiting the science museum and the staff was great as well as the food, they even gave my daughter a scoop of ice cream on the house. Super friendly people and great sandwiches I will for sure be back next time I pass through the area.

I live out of town and had an appointment at CHEO to attend. Decided to look online for somewhere to grab lunch after our appointment. So glad we stumbled upon Roberto’s Corner. Hidden inside a gas station I never would have found it on my own. Our sandwiches were amazing and the cannoli was so yummy! Great service, quick, and amazing prices. We will definitely be returning when we’re in town.

When they told me not to disrespect them by comparing them to subway, they were serious. The sandwiches speaks for it self.

The sandwiches are made in front of you with fresh ingredients. They don't skimp on the toppings (sandwiches are packed). It's like you went into their kitchen and they're making you a home made sandwich?

I love sandwiches, I order on uber eats once every other week. I will be trying the entire menu. Even though it's a sandwich you can tell they put care into the food.

Quality cold cuts and bread. Classic italian sangwiches. I rather this than a Subway or any other chain fast food place. They also got some Italian dishes in the fridge (gnocci etc). Support. Your. Local. Buisnesses.

Sandwiches are phenomenal! Fresh ingredients, great selection of deli meats, and to top it all off the bun are fresh! I’ve tried the Trio and Italian Capicollo, can’t decide which ones better. Will definitely be back, thanks Rob!
