Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio

The chicken was spoiled. Mentioned it to the waitress and they didn’t even apologize or offer discount. Barely any meat provided. Used to go here for the past 10 years. Will never be returning. So disappointed because it was an embarrassment after telling my friend how great it was, to only have them spit the rotten chicken out … and go for takeout on the way home. Biggest waste of $200.

We wanted to give it a try, so we came here a few days ago. Total disappointed. Salad bar was great, meat (the reason why we came) was extremely raw, even though we said we prefer it well done. We had to wait for 20 minutes for the meat to be ready, they open at 5: 30, but it was way passed 6: 00 pm we got the meat coming.
One of the host, berry invasive, he was not polite, and it was kind of annoying having him walking around and checking all out, he was not welcome at First. Felt very bad for the staff who bring you the meat, most of them with very bad English, immigrants, you could notice they do not have a good environment with their bosses.
Terrible music.
They were pushing for drinks (we don’t drink alcohol) we ask for a jar of water and they did not.
If you truly want an amazing service in Toronto for a all you can eat meat, steakhouse, I would not change it again, and my first option will be Copacabana in gta Toronto

We had a fabulous birthday celebration for my husband, the food was delicious, lots of variety even during Summerlicious which can sometimes be limited. Our server was very attentive and the bar manager Masha, was exceptional, making special Shirley temples for the kids in our group. Service was excellent- we’ll definitely be back for date night

2nd time here, food is always amazing and their best dish is their new york steak and grilled pineapple. Owner is amazing and servers were great. My favorite Brazilian restaurant in Toronto

Hi there we were last Saturday on your venue, we didn’t get the chance to try the lamb to anything difference than the garlic beef which was terrible, we were expecting to get different types of meat, service was really slow. We wait more than 15 minutes to get meat. The server passed the machine with the tip included. He did not give us the select the mouth of the tip which is unfair. I am a server too and you never do that to a customer, it looks very rude. As manager I will address this type of behaviour with my staff. He shouldn’t have done that.we spent 198 just 2 adults which is ridiculous

The food was amazing I went with my mom, all of the meat was perfectly cooked, the staff listened to our requests for meats and drinks, everyone was so nice I will come again

We got there super early. We even got there 15 minutes before they opened and the lady who was working at the time seated us before they even opened so we we wouldn't be standing and waiting. That was super nice of her and welcoming. The service here is absolutely top notch, the food is so delicious and the customer service is one of the best. The guys who come and bring you the meat (lol) are so respectful and polite, i had to ask one of them to stop saying excuse me every time he came over to give us his meat (lol). Super polite and respectful and always making sure you are doing well. Thanks for the experience guys, will definitely be back again

Stop pawning off unseasoned chicken thighs as a meat option. Flavour them!

Everything else is delicious 12+ meat options.
Complaints about saltiness are from the parmigiana cheese.

Husband and I were here Saturday night for dinner & a show. We we disappointed that the "show" was 1 man singing, great voice mind you but we thought it would be a actual show with dancers as shown on the website.
The small buffet was just that, small. The meat service was slow, at some points my husband was just sitting and waiting. It was also a little on the tough side and very salty. The little sides that come with your dinner were overly soggy fries, terrible. The chimichurri was great and the rice and peas were ok & deep fried plantain, again greasy. We never mind shelling out for great things but this we didn't feel it was worth it. Copa Cabana was MUCH better food & show!

Went on Valentines day event hence was a bit expensive but the food was awesome. But on a normal time and day would be cheaper. The service was excellent. They even asked if there was any specific meat i was waiting for and accordingly got it to us. It was lovely. Steaks a perfect mid rare. Loved it.

The food quality is good. But only one waitress. When you need something it takes long long time to bring it to you. And you need to ask her couple times. And I come here just for pineapple, they don't give u the pineapple during you have meat, they said the pineapple is desert. It's the last call.

Fabulous night. Amazing food the meats were delicious, cocktails quite yummy and the pineapple dessert mouthwatering. Lovely staff Stefan Marsha and the whole team who made our night special

Servers were rude, food was alright, but after the gratuity tip it’s cheaper to go to copa and also receive better food and service.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at Rodeo. I was looking forward to going to a Brazilian steak house for months as I have always had a great all you can eat experience at other similar places.

Firstly, we were extremely under serviced and it seemed as if there was one server running around the entire restaurant. The entire experience was 3.5 hours for dinner with 8 people which cut into our plans for the evening.

The second issue, which kind of ties into the first one, was that there were excessive delays in serving each different type of meat. It is no exaggeration to say our plates were empty the entire time. We would receive one piece of meat, which was one mouthful and then it took another 10 minutes for another server to come around with another type. After 3 rounds this was frustrating, so when they came back around for the 4th time I asked for two pieces. They in-fact gave me two pieces.one which was a “normal” one mouth full (which was small to start with) and then a second piece that was the size of a quarter.after receiving this insult of a second piece I requested a larger third piece. What happened next is the ONE thing that you do not want to hear at an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse that you are spending $80+ at… the response I got was “no, we have the rest of the restaurant to feed”. Mind blown, I realized that this was the experience that we were locked into.

Thirdly, after our 5th (small) round, the server FINALLY came over to check in and seemed very pushy. He seemed as if he was rushing us off the meat by asking us “are you finished with the meat and ready for the pineapple? ”

Lastly, the majority of meat that was brought around was chicken, chicken hearts, and sausage. Some of which was over cooked. There were a few delicious options such as the parmesan fillet and rib steak but they only came around twice the entire night, the second time only because I made a request (which took 30 minutes btw).

This is a VERY honest review and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I have been to three similar restaurants and have had great experiences. I am saddened that I could not have added a fourth option.

We have been coming here for many years, have experienced Brazilian/Argentinian Style BBQ in many countries, and Rodeo is the best you will find in Ontario. First "post Covid" visit.party of 7, with 3 non red meat eaters. Salad or cold bar is rather poor for these eaters, as you are left with a few fresh vegetables, pasta salad and lettuce based salads. Cancelling the Hot Bar at the end, (shrimp, mussels etc) is a big mistage and leaves the non bbq eaters short on value for $48+. Some high end soups (bisque, chowders etc) could also solve this, as well as some artesian bread choices. Another issue is the 400%+ markup on wines (LCBO $12.95 all in, here ends up at $60 after tax and tip, x 4 bottles, lots of fun, but feeling abused on value. Sadly this practice on what I believe is offensive alcohol prices is more common now that ever, and in my opinion will drive people to stop drinking at restaurants/bars. I do realize value is subjective, but am pretty sure I am not alone on this. Quality of meats served, is premium as usual, proprly cooked and seasoned. Would love to see some fish/seafood choices offered. Many are grill friendly.

Visited for dinner. The place is quite spectacular. Ample space to spread out while dining. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend going light on the buffet bar in the middle as the meat that comes around is amazing. Save room for that. Would visit again for dinner in the future.

Excellent customer service, great cuts of lamb and beef for you to choose from (we didn’t try their chicken and sausage although they were offered to us) : I greatly enjoyed the fresh homemade guacamole from the salad bar and their chimichurri, which paired so well with the red meat! They also had a Parmesan cheese wheel too. The servers kept coming to us with great food so we were so completely full in less than an hour (it was a Sunday night and was pretty busy with a huge birthday party going on but the rotation of food just kept on coming!)

Been over 2 years since the last time because of the pandemic, still top notch, meats cooked perfect and great choice of cuts to choose from!

Idk what all the people are complaining about. I had a blast and I felt good to tip there, I think they are just PMSing.

Went for birthday and cheesecake was given free of charge. The singer played happy birthday song as the cake slice was brought out while the whole restaurant watched. Very pleasant.

Price seems very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Absolutely incredible experience, the staff was knowledgeable, attentive and polite. The atmosphere was great, and the live bang was a great touch. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun night with great food!

There's not many all you can eat Brazilian steakhouses in Ontario. If you've never been to one Rodeo is an excellent choice. Located right at the Danforth.

I'm sure most people who have been too Copacabana will compare that restaurant to this one. I do feel like this place has better variety in terms of meats they serve (chicken thighs, hearts, lamb, sausage, pork, etc) and the staff was really kind. Had really good conversation with our waitress and people serving the meats. All so nice!

Everything was delicious, some things were definitely a bit more dry than they needed to be. Very unique flavors, the pineapple was better than Copa as well if you could believe it. The salad bar wasn't as diverse either, but everything there tasted really good. No refills like Copa either but no deal breakers or anything.

Overall I do think the seasoning is better at Copa and they have higher quality cuts, but that in no way means this place isn't worth checking out! Especially since the only good Copa location has been closed for 2 years.

The only thing is they close at 11: 00 p.m. And they changed from classic piano and started blasting loud high BPM music before 9: 50 p.m. And closed down the salad bar really early, we had only arrived after 9: 00 p.m. The manager was definitely hinting at us to hurry up and leave for us and the final 6 tables. They need to chill with that, don't be open till 11 If you don't want to be. That was the only negative part of the experience.

The service did start slowing down towards the end as well, I recommend going at a very busy time like 6: 00 p.m.

I would still recommend checking this place out no doubt. The foods all that matters.

Very good Brazilian food the veggies, pasta, and salad are buffet style meat is brought to your table. Yummy enjoy!

THEY GOT GREEDY.
Went there for 2nd seating Valentine's dinner. Band was bad, but the singer tried his best. Food was good typical of a Brazilian/Argentinian eat all you can dinner with all the meat served. Too salty and dry for my taste.
THE WORST PART.when bill came, they already included a 20% tip. That was just greedy. I understand that tip helps a long way during this pandemic but to dictate the amount was simply nasty. I always give 18% tip and they did not give me that choice.
Not gonna come back here and will just go to Rodizio at Richmond Hill.

This is the only Brazilian steak house on the Danforth, and one of the few (to my knowledge) in Toronto, so I guess one cannot be too harsh - but it is not great at all. The meat is not high quality and the walkaround waiters usually push sausages or fatty cuts on you because they cost less. You pay a fixed fee for 'eat all you want', but it doesn't really pay off. The real expensive cuts of steak are rarely walked around, and there is pretty much no authentic brazilian food besides the meat (i.e. Side dishes, BR tapas, etc.)

Food and ambience were good, but the service is lacking. Waiter was rude and in accommodating, and I couldn’t help but feel he took us for a ride when we left.

Food was amazing, decor was amazing, service was amazing. We were expecting to see the live band and samba but they didn't have it, probably because of COVID. Everything else made up for this downside.

Only one server speaks Portuguese and the food doesn’t represent Brazilian food. As being Brazilian I feel embarrassed that they called themselves Brazilian steakhouse. Whoever gives more than 1 star doesn’t really know how a Brazilian barbecue taste like. Also the live music is only on Saturday and not on Fridays and Saturday as advertised. The place needs Reno and it’s too dark. Caipirinha is good. Overall: the price is wayyy too high for what you get. If you are Brazilian go to Copacabana or Touro

A lot of dishes has been off the menu compare to the pre-pandemic menu but the price remain the same. We should have been informed when we made our reservation.

This is such an amazing experience. A meat lovers dream. Very much worth the price. Service was excellent.

We love to go out. Yesterday we visited this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We had a lovely evening there with delicious meal and a professional team and a talented cook. We added this venue in our list and we will certainly visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

A little disappointed after visiting Rodeo for the first time in a year. The food is great, however the service has declined quite a bit.

The hosts were lovely and friendly.

The servers and meat carvers are where their service declines. The server gave us "5 minutes to decide and consolidate our drink orders", one of which we never received and were almost charged for. The periods between each carve of meat were too long as we'd finish our food and have time to chat & relax until we were interrupted by the next carver. As well, one of the carvers continuously skipped one of the members of my party to the point where we shared our own cuts of meat so they could eat. After only a few types of meat, the carvers stopped coming to our table despite having the green signal cards faced up.

When we requested certain meats and pineapple again, we were told by the server that he "couldn't" and that telling them would "be a game of broken telephone" even though they used to ask us if we would like to see certain meats again. However, we heard & saw that another table asked for pineapple and the same server had the carvers bring it over to them. Might I add that my party was Asian and that the other table was White.

The overall experience was a little sad and disappointing. However, one of the meat carvers, Boris, was very kind and actually made an effort to speak to us. Shout out to Boris!

The food was not bad, but it was missing salt. Also, the picanha had a huge amount of grease that was not cooked.
Also, the service was okay but not great, and the bill already included the tip (20%), so we felt pushed to give 20% instead of giving 10 or 15%. Since I didn’t find the service excellent, if it was my choice, I wouldn’t give 20.
There wasn’t an explanation of how it works (what were the available sides other than the buffet) and also there were no juices available.
Overall, there are good options but some items to improve.

Ambiance was excellent, staff were world class and very courteous and friendly and most of all food was AWESOME, perfectly flavored with excellent variety all cooked to perfection and unlimited servings and portion. MUST Visit if in Toronto!

Literally the worst experience ever came in waited 50 minutes for any meat to hit the table then when it came multiple items were raw including sausage I'm a chef and was disgusted by the owners behavior when confronted with the poor food service he immediately threatened to call the police and demanded we pay 100$ for the salad we ate which we happily did but never again covid has killed this place its horrifying only bit of light was our server she was amazing aside from that terrible experience will now take it upon myself to inform anyone possible that this place is horrible it would seem after reading a bunch of reviews I should of known better always read reviews first also forgot to say the owner was adamant that he helped open Copa cabana and I couldn't imagine how you would help open another place and not follow the guidelines you supposedly shared with them the food was a zero and Copa at least was a 8 so I find that hard to believe I wish I could post the video of him yelling at us about his undercooked food what a ridiculous insanely upsetting outing would never recommend to anyone even my worst enemy

We went here for the first time for my birthday this evening. Be aware the restaurant is located on the second floor. We were greeted quickly and brought to our table. From there everything was outstanding. There was so much selection, delicious sides and amazing protein options for anyones taste. Everything was fresh and delicious. But truly the staff were the best part. They were welcoming, attentive and really just a pleasure to interact with and this goes for the server, manager and gentlemen bringing around the meat skewers. The space is open and inviting. Everything was clean, there were hand sanitation stations throughout the space. The drinks were fresh and delicious. Overall just a lovely experience. We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend.

This place knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a very welcoming mindset. The food is conveniently priced, always tasty and neat.

We use the restaurant for a business gathering. The food, service, and entertainment (music and dance) were fantastic but a bit pricey (a glass of wine and draft beer costed $26.). A huge drawback was that there was no escalator or elevator. One of our guest couldn't attend since 2 sets of staircase was too hard to climb for some people.

The spot is nice and spacious, the meals was delicious and the rates were very affordable.fast, efficient service and very attentive waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit many restaurants but to this place I go the most. The stuff is very chummy and the food they place on your table is so fresh and tasty. I am always happy to have a decent meal here. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic atmosphere and super personal service. The meals were crisp and enchanting. Will absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Convenient rates and big portions. Great job.

Disappointing meal. Food was good but not great. Servers seemed to be on autopilot and when the bill came, they charged us for an extra bottle of wine. When we pointed out the mistake, they took it off the bill but didn't seem surprised. Left a bad taste in our mouths. Won't be back.

Amazing food and outstanding service, we were there 4 months ago and came back a second time and they remembered us

The appetizers and the sides are excellent, specially the pão de queijo (even better that some of the Brazilian restaurants we have back home).
There are plenty of drinks to choose from at fair prices.
The ambient is comfortable and calming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the meats.
Bonus points for starting with picanha.
I wasn't able to taste the doce de leite, but the cheesecake and the the coffee were amazing.

It is less frenetic than most Brazilians steakhouses back home, which is a good thing because allows you to enjoy the experience.

If you are looking for a complete Brazilian experience at a fair price, that is the place.

My experience here was NOT good. Service was slow, non-frequent, and almost non-existent at times. There were items I only found out they had, at the END of the night. You're better off going elsewhere for your Brazilian BBQ needs.

Copa is right downtown, and Toro is amazing. Sorry.

Amazing place with really great food, there is a buffet of salads, sides and tasty cheese to compliment the skewers with the best cuts of meat you will find in Toronto. Later on in the night we had a live band and dancers with people rocking the dance floor. Will be back.

Their time there. Quality going downhill. Variety of meats are poor. Quantity of dancers way less from previous visits.

We did not have a reservation as we decided where to go for dinner on the day of. However, it was not an issue of getting us a table, and we were guided to our table right away (at around 630p-7p). Our server was EXTREMELY nice and friendly. When she introduced the restaurant, she said "the restaurant's a rodizio style, which means that we are going to feed you lots of meat until you can't eat anymore". Which she used friendly tactic to approach customers and A+ for service! Every staff at the restaurant were so friendly and approachable, they made sure we had a good experience during our meal.

The choices from the salad bar amazed me. Compare to the other rodizio restaurants, they definitely had more varieties of everything. For example, 4 different types of cold cut, A PARMESAN CHEESE WHEEL, fruits, cold grilled veggies, mixed salads, and sushi.yes, sushi! *side note, you keep the plate from the salad bar for the meats*

The meats slowly came around our side of the restaurant. However, they definitely take care of your hungry stomach as our waitress brought us cheese balls, and the appetizer tray- a rice w/ bean and cracker crumbs, deep fried banana w/ panko breadcrumbs, and homemade fries. Since my bf and I both didn't like beans, we didn't touch that at all. But the fries were very similar to the ones from Big Boys. Both seasoned well, and thick cut fries. The banana was quite tasty actually. I am not a fan of banana but I enjoyed theirs. It was crunchy on the outside, sweet on the inside. Perfect for the palate when you need to take a break from the meats. The meat choices were many but they had lamb legs, lamb racks, meatballs and salmon that you could only get at the restaurant. Overall, the beef were a little salty to my liking, cooked mostly medium rare, and ALL VERY tender.

The entertainment was a gem! Two very beautiful dancer danced and even asked the audience to join them (even our server danced with them a bit!). They all invited audiences to go to the dance floor and danced along with the music performed by a live band. Which I found very entertaining to watch as other restaurants just have the beautiful ladies showing off their Brazilian costumes, danced around and that's it.

Went here on a Saturday night for a dinner hosted by investment advisor. There's a cold salad buffet which had a lot of variety including antipasto, cheeses, and fruit. There was a lot of varieties of meat seved table side, but I found most over salted. The garlic tenderloin was the best. There was live music - male singer playing guitar and a percussionist playing drums mostly. They did covers of popular songs with a Brazilian flair. They were good. There were two female Brazilian dancers (big feathery outfits with head pieces), they did a good job and got people up from their tables to dance. Was a fun evening.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, but the antipasto bar needs more variety and also be refilled more often!

I went to this place to celebrate my birthday with my family.food was not good, specially the salads and steak.and we decided to don't pay the tip. You cannot imagine what happened. The manager tried do force us to pay the tip. He stopped in front of exit to avoid us get out of the place. I almost called the police, but that was my birthday, and I gave up. But I will never return to this place, and don't recommend. There's better options in Toronto to appreciate a good Brazilian barbecue, and with cheap prices and polite team to attend you. The situation that I passed was really ridiculous. I feel humiliated in front of my family.

As an expert meat eater, this is by far my favourite rodizio spot.
Pros: The atmosphere is classy and warm, the service is attentive, but not overly friendly. They have a lovely Bosa Nova band on Fridays.
The meat selection is quite good and the location is great if you are walking.

Cons: Parking is an issue, especially during the summer months.

Great atmosphere and exceptional entertainment. Food was also good but it gets a bit irritating to have servers coming to you with skewers of meat every few minutes; however, that is the style of restaurant so you shouldn't expect otherwise! Good service overall!

Awesome location. Kind servers who are very attentive. There were lots of options at the buffet. Meat was always fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. The live entertainment was a nice touch. Our large group liked that it was a little more intimate than other similar restaurants downtown. We will definitely be back.

Friday Arrival at 7 pm
- Parking is limited, you will have to park on the street sides. But it's okay because you are going to need the exercise after this. ;-)

- Location was not hard to find, they have a big orange sign that you can't miss.

- Not wheel chair assessible, careful of the stairs.

- Atmosphere is great for groups and couples. Top entrance lighting is a bit low but you can still see. It could have been the sun light when we just walked in. Took our eyes a second to adjust, it got better inside.

- Service was great and fast friendly. Took the time to explain how everything worked. I can't really complain, I had a wonderful time!

- Appitizers: Feijoada, Fries, and Crispy Fried Bananas.

- Salad Bar: Various salads hard to name them all. Also at the salad bar there was Smoked Salmon, mussels, spicy shrimp, salmon Makizushi, Prosciutto, Cheezes, garlic bread, and fruit.

- Main courses: The food was great different with a wide selection, even when we came during the Summerlicious event, which included: pork, chicken, Angus beef, and pichanna.
Just as an fyi salt is a factor, but I don't need to tell you that.
The meat went well with the Chimichurri sauce it was light and refreshing.

- Dessert if you love pineapple I suggest getting the whole thing lol
The roasted pineapple was a delicious way to finish off the evening.

- The live entertainment was great and you could dance if you wanted to.

Great experience and will be back!
I would take half star off because of wheel chair assessiblity, but it only allows me to put a full star or no star.

Service was great, the steak was not.
High price for low quality steak is not ideal.
Chicken and pork was delicious.
Live music was good, but too loud.
Great dancers. Poor washrooms, but it is in Toronto so you can't expect too much.
Over all I enjoyed it but it could have been better, especially for that price.

Great service, delicious mouth-watering food, and great music! I can't wait to take my family there again!
