Absolutely the worst company to deal with. Horrible customer service in store, Rude and they make it apparent they are only there to make a pay cheque. Not to mention the hoops you have to jump through just to get in the store, Absolutely ridiculous, this store acts like they are located in Los Santos / San andreas, I get it they rip their customers off through means of fine print left right and center so I suppose the James bond fortress like security seems reasonable for a company like Rogers.

Best experience ever at Rogers on Saturday with Julia who is a shining star. I had to upgrade 2 iPhones to 14. Julia went way above and beyond from start to finish. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. I was also impressed how she and her coworkers work as a team. I left a very happy and satisfied customer.

I had an amazing experience with my sales representative, Lyndsay. Not only was she extremely polite and kind, she also was very knowledgeable about the products Roger’s has to offer. I was looking for a product that was out of stock. Instead of just calling it a day and giving up, Lyndsay asked me a couple questions, and in doing so my representative brought me something that was even more suitable to my needs. She also walked me through the benefits of the new product and explained everything to me in a way, I, someone with a somewhat limited grasp of this technology could understand. Lyndsay was also very thorough and patient while she was walking me through the contract and made me feel very at ease. I really appreciated how upbeat and friendly she was, regardless of the fact she had probably been working long hours for the Black Friday sale. Very few times in life do I have such wonderful customer service experience that I know a company has a customer for life. Hopefully when it’s time for me to get a new phone I can again get Lyndsay as a customer service representative. 10/10. (I also apologize if I spelt the name wrong there is too many ways to spell Lyndsay.)

I have now basically dealt with every employee at this store. They’re literally the only reason I’m staying with Rogers. I’ve had the absoloute best service from Kris, Kirusan, Emma, Julia and Asma. They all went above and beyond to help make sure the experience was positive. It’s worth the extra drive as I’ve never had decent service at other Rogers locations.

Not a good experience.
I went there to buy a new phone. From outside, I could see 2 employees inside. I rang the bell but they completely ignored me. They had their head down, minding their own stuff.
I was wondering what was going on when I saw a note on the door that "due to short staff they were closing early".
But at least, one of the 2 inside could have said something, even through the door cam, instead of ignoring me the whole time I was there.
"You don't have to be the owner of the store to provide good customer service every time to everyone".

Door protocol is mandatory from head office and it’s simply to protect the workers and customers who chose to shop there. The staff is phenomenal at the Bowmanville location and they work extremely hard to make sure all customers are happy in any way possible

You guys wasted not only my husbands time, but my whole families time you told my husband that he would get a text cause there is two people ahead of him. We waited in the car with two of our kids for over an hour so we decided to go across the street to get something for our kids to eat. You guys sent a text my husband was there within a couple minutes and you guys turned him away telling him that there was other people ahead of him you guys cant wait two minutes then you guys give us a phone call where he was, I answered and asked why you guys did that and you couldn’t even answer …. Start treating customers with respect.

I’ve come to this location a few times, nothing but great customer service. Don’t let these other reviews make the judgement for you. The door being locked has nothing to do with the employees and they only take 1 customer per each associate which is actually nice because the attention is fully on you. I dealt with Julia and the girls Lyndsey and Emma. They quickly resolved my questions and were nothing but great to speak with, also shared a lot of laughs and pictures which felt more personal than any interaction I’ve had anywhere else. The girls were great, just remember… no one wants to help someone who’s a rude a$:)

It’s absolutely hilarious that Rogers is concerned about 0.00001% in loses due to “robberies”.

If you enjoy waiting outside for 30 mins-76 hours, and have your photo taken like a criminal at the door-then you’ll love this place.

Once the bouncer finally let me in, the manager was useless and condescending. Stating information that I would have no knowledge of…since I don’t work there. I was told by Rogers support contact number to physically go to the store for my issue.

Everyone here loves to pass the buck onto the next employee, take zero responsibility, and does little to zero actual work (unless you consider popping out from your back room Netflix binging “work”)

Also, not related to MY issue, but a UPS guy came and dropped off SEVERAL boxes. One of the employees said “oh you have to take them in the back” UPS GUY: “I can’t go back there it’s for staff only. My safety depends on it”.

The lazy b looked at him like he was crazy. She just didn’t wanna stack the boxes. Based ups guy!:)

Bottom line this store sucks the most amount of …

Garbage customer service. Went to the store twice for e sim card activation. The first time I was given wrong information and when I went next day they asked me to wait outside of the store because they are afraid of robbery. Spoke to the store manager who was absolutely useless telling me that they had two robberies asking me to understand her point of view but refusing to understand how frustrated I was about wasting three hours of my day to get a simple thing done. Never use Rogers. Switching back to Bell Canda at least they know what customer service really means!

If I could give zero I would. Arrived 45 minutes before close and they said there were 2 people already in line and wouldn’t help me. 45 minutes for 2 people? !? ! I told them I was only picking up a phone, but they still wouldn’t let me in (you have to be buzzed in cause Bowmanville is apparently a terrible area). Standing on the sidewalk trying to plead my case was humiliating. They say I have 3 days to pick up my phone or they send it back… so I try to pick it up and get turned away, and told to come back tomorrow at 10am like I don’t have a job and that’s why I’m there at 7: 15pm. Avoid at all costs.

I went in to get a new phone and Heather the representative went out of her way to help. She was thorough and took her time to get us the best deal.

Would highly recommend.
