Amazing food. The ladies that helped us were very kind and patient with great suggestions off the menu.

Food and service was super average. I was really disappointed with the calabrese pizza. Best way to describe it is, a quality of a frozen pizza with a lot of powdered flour still at the bottom. I did really enjoy the calamari, 10/10 cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I really wanted to try the tiramisu, however they ran out even though it was only 9pm.

We were there for a family member's 65th birthday.

First and foremost, let's talk about the good. The food was absolutely fantastic. Everyone in our party loved the food we ordered. For dessert, everyone wanted Tiramisu, but unfortunately they had none, so we ordered various other items and they were delicious as well.

Second, the atmosphere is great. The lights are lower, but there are amazing table lamps that are tasteful and provide a lot of light for only the table. It makes it feel very luxurious.

Unfortunately where this goes downhill is the service. We had a 5: 30 PM sitting. Of course when it's a larger party, not everyone can show up on time. Some of the party was showing up early, others 5-10 minutes late. The staff was on us the entire time to order, even while our entire party wasn't here yet. When the party had arrived, the staff asked for our order before they even had a chance to look at the menu. We asked them to give us 5 minutes and instead of the staff leaving, they stood there and watched us read the menu. Very uncomfortable!

After we had ordered and the food was brought to us, we were eating the food and one of our party still had food on their plate and the waitress literally tried to take the plate away while the person was eating to make way for the main course. When we were almost finished eating the main course, they started to take away the bread. Now as you know in an Italian restaurant, you usually have at least a few people with sauce left on their plate and they may want to use the bread to eat the sauce. We had to continuously tell the staff not to take things away.

Further, we let the staff know that it was a member of our party's birthday and it was a big one. They didn't bother acknowledging this, not even a "happy birthday".

TL;DR: Great food, great atmosphere, staff doesn't care about your experience and just wants to get you out as fast as possible to make room for the next seating.

Food is absolutely incredible, staff are amazing. I've been at a lot of Italian restaurants and I can only say this is one of my favourites ever.

Romanos has become my favorite Italian restaurant. The grilled calamari is delicious and having tried a number of the pasta dishes, they are all excellent. Very nice atmosphere with good service. If you are looking for a delicious spot for lunch or dinner this is the place.

An amazing fine dining experience over here. Went there for a team dinner from work and the staff was cordial and accommodating with our requests. We had a great time and the food was amazing. Being a vegetarian, it’s hard to get options but they were very accommodating and I tried the fettuccine primavera. It was really delicious. I would definitely recommend this place someone whose looking for fine dining experience and good food.

Great food, great service and atmosphere for a nice dinner out for drinks or with the family. Food was amazing, calamari and steak was excellent. Will be back forsure and would recommend

It was nice to have dinner here with my friends during birthday of my brother. The restaurant is super clean, the person who served us was nice. Generally I would like to be there again.

Went there this past Friday night (was little busy), no one greeted us at the door. Waited paitiently, finally someone showed up and showed us to table. Our Waitress Stephanie, nice girl, but has no customer service, We waited for her to get our drink order, placed our order for dinner, Disappointed on the anti pasto board ($55.00 for a few slices of deli, some cheese, and garnish). No bread was served with the anti pasto, had to ask. Mains were okay, ordered some coffee and a take out dish. Waited and Waited.had to ask the waitress where was the take out > after another 15 mnutes finally got the take out and the bill. The waitress forgot to add the coffee to the bill. She made a scene on the coffee with my wife. I told her I would pay the coffee cash,
This was the first time that I paid my bill and left NO tip. We ate there before, dont know what is going on there, but that was my latest and last experience there.

Hands down the best Italian food and service in Vaughan! We had our office Christmas party here and the food was spot on. Fresh and made to order. Steak was cooked perfectly and the appetizers were delicious. The Nutella filled bombe donuts were the perfect ending to a perfect lunch. Thanks to the superb team at Romanos!

Went here for a Christmas party with co-workers. I thought the food was going to be amazing. I was very excited, checked out the reviews, all 5 star reviews. I really don’t get why. The food was very basic, nothing special, they ran out of romaine lettuce and had to use spring mix drenched in Cesar dressing, it was very oily. The dessert was mediocre. I even tried my co-worker’s orders just to see if anything was good. If you like basic, tasteless meals that you can make at home, this place is for you. Our waitress was super friendly though. I think her name was Layla. This place is not for me.

We’re ordered catering from Romano’s in the past and it was good, so we decided to order from them again for my daughter’s birthday. (Ordered 2 pastas, veal and 2 pizzas 1x meat and 1x vegetarian (margherita). What a mistake that was! The pizzas especially the so called “margherita” pizza was cold and dry! I called Romano’s and spoke to Lori who said she doesn’t know what happened as they order their pizzas from the bakery? Like what? Aren’t you an Italian restaurant? Lori then said she would make fresh pizzas and I have to come pick it up or she will refund me. I chose the refund as I didn’t want to leave the party. Lori then told me to reheat the pizza and just serve it. When I reheated it, the cheese never melted and was still dry because the pizza was BURNT to begin with! How could they even think to send it off with a customer to be served? ! We ended up ordering from Ricci’s and threw Romano’s in the trash. Lori told me to call her the next day to get my refund and my husband left a message with no call back? He also tried to call everyday and no one picks up his calls. So here we are. Here is a pic of the pizza they sent us home with. Save your money! There are many other Italian restaurants in Woodbridge that do catering.

The server dropped the calamari on the table. She just scooped them back on the plate and pretended we didn't see it. The pizzas and calamari are pale, bad seasoning and just not worth it order. Coffee is delicious and strong, and that's the only good thing. It's very expensive for with this quality of foods and services.

The staff was a bit slow.to.respomd but we weren't in any rush. The Calamari was outstanding.

We decided on a girls night out and decided to choose Romano's. Establishment is nice and welcoming. Portions are great and filling especially with the special secret ingredient of added protien to the calamari being a staff members hair intertwined into it and guess what we were not comped for it and paid full price how thoughtful of them. So we left a 5 dollar tip cause no way I'm tipping 20 to 30 to cover another order of hairy calamari.

Great service and the food was amazing. I ordered the fettuccine with truffle cream sauce and mushrooms. Everything was fresh and flavourful.

Lovely italian joint. Food was great, a little pricey but delicious! We got the chicken with veggies and sesame salmon salad. Staff offered to seat us on the patio since we were curious even though they were closing the patio, how nice of them!

We had our daughters communion here back in the beginning of June. Every single guest could not say enough about how amazing the food was! We’ve never had a bad or mediocre meal at Romano’s! Shout out to Layla the awesome server! Lori was great to deal with as well!

My dad and I came in after an appointment and the food is incredible! My dad is never this impressed about any place and he certainly was!
I highly recommend this place to seafood lover! The seafood marinara is a game changer, and the tiramisu, oh my gosh it's good.

Delicious Italian food at Romano's. Calamari was nice and fresh, polenta bites were very tasty and steak was fantastic. Pasta was mouthwatering and deserves special mention. Service was a bit slow, but understandable as they were packed that evening.

Flashback 14 years ago we had our eldest son's baptism reception here and it was awesome. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was above and beyond! Every time we decide to stop in for a bite, it's always on par. Even their take out is wonderful. It's a definitely must as once you will try it you will be back for more. Their pasta dishes are awesome, their seafood is another, give them a go, you will be back and back for more.

Was at Romano’s last night with my family of 9 and was not impressed with spending 850.00 dollars and was asked to pay 20.00 dollars for the cutting of my grandsons birthday cake which my son in law questioned them about that saying it was ridiculous she then didn’t end up charging for it. The portions were not that big also my pasta was over cooked and cold. The tables were crammed together very little space and they gave us the impression that they wanted us out fast because they served the antipasto and quickly after came the main entrees! I found prices very expensive for what we ordered and will not be returning

Tomato sauce was very good. Service was extremely slow and I asked if they were short staffed, but they said they were not. Overall a good experience but a little bit pricey.

Great food, some of the best pasta I've had, service was a little slow but that could have been due to it being Valentine's day.

If you're trying to find a restaurant where the food exceeds all expectations and the servers make you feel like you’re family, this is the place to go. Me and my family have been going to Romano’s for quite a while now and every experience has been a great one. Not only does the food taste amazing but each and every server makes you feel at home! This is by far the best restaurant in Vaughan, On!

Just went for a quick lunch. Got the Santorini salad. Quick, great service, perfect portion, lots of toppings and protein and wow, freaking tasted amazing!

Opinions expressed are my own. What stands out about this place isn't just the food, but how energetic and cheerful the staff are! I am not sure how they do it especially during the busy times. Whether they were carrying a handful of plates, greeting a new customer, or taking dishes back they always wore a smile and positive attitude. Rina (not sure if I am spelling this correctly), the staff member who made my cappucinos was so polite. It was my first time at Romano's and I was just getting two cappucinos for take out.she took the time to make them properly and was chatting and smiling while doing it. I will definitely go back for more than capuccinos.

After reading such great reviews, I thought my experience would have been better. Our waiter forgot about us on multiple occasions making me feel less valued. There was a couple that got seated after us, and they got their food and drinks way faster/earlier than we did. Took our waiter over 30 min to take our order — while I understand it was a busy night, a simple “I’ll be with you in just a moment” would have been appreciated. The coconut shrimp was phenomenal although the Tuscan salad and the sesame salmon salad were extremely bland, lettuce was wilted/brown and presentation lacked. It felt like I was eating a store bought salad from Sobeys. Pizza was super chewy and gummy — not appetizing at all. At most Italian restaurants, I look forward to either the creme brûlée or tiramisu and low and behold, they did not have it available. And last but not least, when I had asked for change upon paying my bill, the waitress gave me -$1.00 less than what I was owed. It’s the attention to detail that was really lacking for me. I did not feel appreciated nor valued and it really felt like the service I received was due to my age. Truly a disappointment from start to finish.

The waitress was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable at the end of the meal when I paid. When I gave her the money she said to and the rest is tip putting me on the spot and she only came to the table twice, I only had only 1 glass of water she never came back to refill it

Big portions, good for sharing. Food quality okay. Had coconut shrimp and mussels. Shrimp was okay, nothing special. Mussels were not cleaned properly and the sauce was to watery. Doesn’t come with side however, they do serve complimentary bread and butter once seated. Drinks were standard and basic. Price was fair since portions were big however quality wasn’t the greatest. Service however was great!

Fine dining restaurant.need choice more careful waiters uniform. That goes with well dressed costumer. Food is good. Good price.

Food was amazing, staff was very inviting and friendly! They've got a great outdoor dining experience, so even on rainy days, you're covered by the tent. First time anyone in our group had been there and will definitely be going back!

Delicious Italian food, good price, good portion sizes, nice ambience, and the service was great. Try the gnocchi with the gorgonzola cream sauce, probably the best gnocchi I have ever had.

Tried their Alfredo pasta and didn't like it. It was really bland, not flavorful at all. Felt like I was having pasta with boiled milk.

This restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a proper lunchon, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head.fresh and food and a large menu.helpful staff members, and great ambience. Also important, the expence is affordable. I praise this spot with no hesitation.

We went as a somewhat large group (~12 people) and found the food was across the board fairly disappointing. The pizzas were more like flatbreads and had varying degrees of doneness, and when we mentioned that one was very undercooked they had a bit an attitude and stated "it is supposed to be like that. " The margherita pizza was essentially a cheese pizza with a few specs of basil pesto (picture below is after we asked for more basil).

Their general attitude toward the group was not great and they would look very carefully at customers as they were tipping (noticed this at other tables as well).

This place has a great ambience and very excellent service. Had the white fish with vegetables along with a red wine recommended by our server. Finished off with a nice glass of Porto compliments of Romano's. Will definitely revisit Romano's for more great food, wine and company.

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. Well we had a phenomenal evening and the place was unquestionably the reason for the strong gathering. The waiters contributed in a graceful manner, the cuisine was very good and my buddies were very joyful. We shall no dout return for more events. Thank you very much.

Foods always great. The take out service is awesome. Dine in, pick up or have it delivered, you cant go wrong.

My recent dining experience at Romano's was exceptional. Everything was top notch including service from the staff and owner, the atmosphere, the drinks, and most importantly the food. I look forward to future visits to Romano's very soon. If you have not been there, then you are missing out. Go check it out!

I was there today in mid December 2019 and I have to say how very impressed I was with the whole experience. The food was great, our server Lela was awesome and the atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. I had the quattro staggione pizza and it was done perfectly! All of the ingredients melded just right, nothing was overpowering the other, which is how it should be. I actually remember when this restaurant first opened, it was nice but nothing like it is now, Romano has done a great job at building up a great restaurant and creating an excellent dining experience. If you are ever in the area of pine valley and highway 7 I would highly recommend this place. I don't think you normally need a reservation but if you are going during the holidays or a busy time of the year and it's lunch time, you may want to call ahead. Again, great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I highly recommend!

I've been to Romano's many times and the ambiance, food quality and flavour along with staff attention is impeccable!

I'd say this restaurant is a little high on the price point yet you will not be disappointed forking in food and forking out your dough ;-).

I've been coming here for years with both staff and friends. Sad that my office is now somewhere else or I would be by way more often. Hot spot for business lunches, arrive early or parking is somewhat challenging. Food is fantastic and familiar. A few new items on the menu wouldn't hurt but they have perfected the ones they have. I love the ladies here, they have been here for years so it is like coming home. They dont just remember your face and name, they know your favourite wines and how you take your coffee. One of the best in the area!

I arrive at this outstanding restaurant many times as I like the good mood that is characterizes this place. The crew is highly loyal and skilfull. The service is extremely fast. Not to mention, the food they serve is perfect. I ate there more than once and I was never disappointed. The rate is decent. I recommend this place to to all.

Visited there a few weeks ago with friends for dinner. The food was very bland and lacking in flavor, my beet salad had very very strong vinegar taste and no other flavor, arugala served with it was lacking in dressing and hard to eat. The fish was dry. Overall unimpressed with it and I wouldn't recommend it with so many good options in the area and especially Italian restaurants

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Sat our group directly beside an entire wedding reception? ! Kids were literally running into our chairs and we had to request to be moved and could only be there for an hour and a half at the other table option before we had to leave. Staff were all rude and rarely came by to check if we needed drinks refreshments etc.not to mention you are forced to tip atleast 18% of the bill? ! Save your money and your ear drums because this place is a headache it’s so loud!

We had our wedding reception here and my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. It's a wonderful restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine. Very nice and accommodating staff. Very good venue, nice decor.
