Roma's Hospitality Centre

We just had our daughter's bridal shower at Roma's. The food was amazing! The service was excellent! The coordinator made the planning so easy! Everything went better than planned! Everyone at Roma's went above and beyond to make the celebration special. I highly recommend this beautiful venue!

I highly recommend Roma’s Hospitality Centre to anyone who wants to have the best event ever. First off, both halls are absolutely stunning. Secondly, the food was delicious. All our guests were praising the food all night and believe me, they are very picky. Thirdly, the serving staff were professional and polite. One individual that stood out is Ronaldo who kept checking on us to see if everything was ok with the venue. Last but certainly not least was Janet. She was the individual who made this all happen. She was the one who we worked with to book the hall and organize the entire evening. She is extremely professional, polite and patient. Just a wonder to work with. She was ok with last minute questions and last minute changes. Definitely an asset to Roma’s. We had the party last week and people are still talking about it. Thx again Roma’ and Janet and staff. I recently hosted a family event at Roma's Hospitality Centre that I had to plan in a matter of days. Despite the short notice, Janet went above and beyond to help me coordinate everything seamlessly. Her kindness and professionalism were truly exceptional, and I felt like she genuinely cared about making our event special.

On the day of the event, the staff at Roma's continued to exceed my expectations. The service was incredibly attentive and prompt, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Joseph (the owner), who was on site during the event, felt like a member of our family by the end of our lunch.

In addition to the exceptional service, the venue itself is beautiful, and the food was delicious. They also helped us with several food allergies.

I highly recommend Roma's banquet hall for any event you may be planning. The venue, staff, and food are top-notch. I'm so grateful to have found them and I will definitely be going back for future events. Thank you Roma's!

We attended a beautiful wedding here. It was a really nice venue with lots of parking. The staff was friendly and the food was great! Would love to host or attend another event at this location.

DONT DO IT: My sister got married here and I wouldn't recommend this venue to ANYONE! Everything everyone said is TRUE about the 20-35% they will offer you a $2000 discount but charge you and extra $7000 on your finale invoice. To light a candle is $25 and they charge you to cut your own cake. COLOUR Napks are NOT included only white!
Shots are included but they claim to not have the proper glasses and would give the guests any shots.

The contract price that you sign at will not be your original pice on your invoice and they will blame it on inflation 30 days before your WEDDING/ EVENT! When they already know they will be increasing the price. They say the Easel is included but then they turn around and try to charge you for it

Don't trust their floor person "North Floor Design" they were suppose to refund my sister $200 she reached out to them and they agreed to the refund & then they BLOCK her on all platforms.

Roma's is just as dishonest as their preferred vendor! Spend your money anywhere else but HERE!

My Fiancé and I had out wedding at Roma’s recently and Joseph and Janet were very professional at answering our questions as we moved though the process to our big day.

The Venue:
-
1) The first thing you will notice when you enter the room is the big beautiful glass arch windows which are replicated throughout the entire room. It almost makes you feel you are in Paris.
2) The main dancefloor and table space is of ample space for around 300 people.
3) The main rooms bathrooms are big and the female’s bathroom is beautiful.
4) The outside of the building was recently painted and looks fresh. There is no special landscaping outside, as it is a plaza parking lot, however there is ample free parking for all your guests.
5) The lobby is great for greeting guests before they head inside.

The Food/Drinks:
-
1) We had an Italian style menu, which was beautifully presented and tasted great.
2) The meal tasting menu cost extra, which we would have liked to be included, however they gave personalized service and let us provide our reviews at the end of the entire and what we might like changed for the actual wedding, such as extra sauce on the pasta/etc.
3) We got the premium bar package and had 2 signature drinks as well, which were great and the guests didn’t have any complaints. The price for unlimited alcohol was beyond fair.

The Vendors:
-
1) DJ/MC - Since Legend’s Entertainment is now out of business, which did originally cause some problems when sourcing a DJ company…. However, we went to “Something Blue Wedding DJ’s” who came through on our wedding day, who also included dance floor lighting and can did our room up lighting. Their pricing is great and their DJ also MC’d as well. They will also provide the necessary insurance requested by Roma’s should anything happen. Don’t look anywhere else but these guys, you won’t be disappointed!
2) White Dancefloor – We went with “North Floor Design”, who knew the dancefloor layout of Roma’s and everyone was stunned when they saw it. I would recommend it, as the main dance floor is brown looking.
3) Table/Room Décor – We went with “Babylon Décor & Much More”, who without a doubt made the room feel like you are in a fairytale movie. They are priced well and everyone was stunned on how beautiful they made Roma’s room look.

Overall, COVID-19 hit wedding venue’s hard, but Roma’s worked as best they could with us to keep price increases low, due to inflation, to a minimum and we had a wonderful wedding and would recommend them if you want to have a fairytale wedding.

Final Impression: We saw over 30 venues’ before choosing Roma’s, which should tell you that it must be something special if we chose it!

We had such an amazing wedding. Janet is one of the most professional person I’ve ever worked with. She got back to me quickly whenever I had questions and went above and beyond trying to work with my on making my dream wedding a reality. Her emails, EVERYTIME, is precise, informative, and understandable. Even though she’s constantly working on other events, she’ll always try her best to show you that your wedding is important to them as well. Nothing but positivity and trust.

Joseph is one of the managers/owners and he is one handsome dude. When we had small bumps on the road he graciously had a phone call with me and did what had to be done to get what we wanted. He was with us the whole night for my wedding and made sure we were happy. He’d make sure we had whatever we wanted and was extremely lenient with rules as we broke quite a few hahaha. Our schedule was busy and we had to delay meal times and we weren’t even charged in the end. My wedding was completely nuts and he made it possible.

The food was phenomenal. We had the cheese ravioli, surf and turf, steak, salmon, and more. None of my guests complained about the food, especially the lobster!

The staff they had working that night was amazing. A few guests were difficult and some ended up sitting at different tables. This is a logistical nightmare but they made it work!

The bartenders did an amazing job. All my guests had to say was they made amazing drinks. So amazing that some guests couldn’t even keep it in their stomach ;) I forgot their names but please tell them they were amazing. Worth every penny.

Amazing!

I recently hosted my daughter’s engagement/wedding at Roma’s and it was wonderful! After two years of postponing due to the pandemic, the rebooking process was seamless and both Janet and Joseph were so helpful and organized. The food was delicious, everything was served hot and was fresh. The staff was especially accommodating if we needed anything. The venue is beautiful and very clean. I will definitely be inquiring again about events I have in the future. So wonderful to be able to be back celebrating events and supporting the hospitality industry after too long!

I had the fortune of having an event catered by Roma’s. The food was outstanding - the lasagna was exceptional! We have used their services a number of times and they never disappoint. Looking forward to my next catered event!

We had the privilege of hosting my daughter's wedding at this venue. Thanks to all the hard work done by Janet, our event carried on without a hitch. She was extremely informative and helpful regarding any and all questions we had, ensuring that no details were left out.

The hall was set up beautifully and the food was absolutely delicious! Joseph who was present during the event, was extremely curteous regarding any requests we had.

We have hosted many events here with great success. We are still receiving complements on our son’s wedding hosted last month! Thank you to the entire staff at Roma’s for your great food and excellent service. Inflation has affected ALL industries so are we to be disgruntled towards all gas stations, supermarkets, coffee shops, even banks? Small local businesses have suffered the most from the pandemic so paying a moderate increase for increased costs they are also facing is extremely warranted. Thank you again Romas for such a wonderful experience you’ve given me and my family.

I recently had the extreme pleasure of hosting a family function with Roma's Hospitality Centre. The food was beyond delicious and the staff are a delight to deal with. With food costs and staffing expense skyrocketing, management was generous, kind and understanding as we amicably shared these unforeseen costs after 2 years of postponements and interruptions, we were appreciative for their compassion! We will definitely be using them again for our future events and highly recommend them to others.

I had an event with ROMA’S HOSPITALITY on April 2nd, 2022, and it was very disappointing.

Although the venue was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday (Quinceanera), the whole experience with ROMA’S HOSPITALITY was a letdown.

1. THEY INCREASED THE PRICE TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT:
Two weeks before the actual event, Joseph (General Manager) surprised me at the final viewing of the venue to demand a price increase of about $7 per plate. While it is understandable that everything has gone up in price, it felt incredibly unprofessional how it was approached and so close to the event date. I was ultimately persuaded to accept taking out the pasta from the three-course meal that was originally agreed upon in our contract. Meaning, the guests would be served a salad, a main course of chicken with steamed vegetables and ice cream for dessert. Joseph (General Manager) assured me this would be more than enough to satisfy the guest and that Roma’s Hospitality would keep the quality of the food. This was not the case.

2. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD WAS NOT UP TO EXPECTATION:
Many of the guest complained about the plain food (appetizers and main course) and that it was not sufficient. If you are thinking of booking an event at this venue, I strongly recommend that you ask to try the food FIRST and that you are very clear on what you and your guests will be served that day. I was completely taken back by what was received.

3. CHANGES TO THE MENU WERE MADE ONE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT:
The salad of choice was changed by Roma’s Hospitality one day before the event. Although Roma’s Hospitality did reach out to obtain approval – it did not feel like I had an option at that point. It was incredibly stressful to deal with this one day before the event.

4. THE FOOD SERVICE WAS SLOW AND LACKING:
The time between each course was too long and the guests were just sitting there for a long time between courses. My daughter brought it up to the serving staff between each course and it didn’t seem to make it any better. We had to move the event along, so the desert ended up happening after everyone moved on to the dancefloor. None of the tables got served juice or coffee unless they asked for it – if guests didn’t know this was offered, they did not receive it. The servers should have been more proactive in providing what was included in the contract.

5. THE HEAD SERVER WAS UNHELPFUL AND RUDE:
My daughter’s table got missed for the desert. When she raised it to the head waiter, she was accused of lying about it. They did ultimately serve the ice creams that were missed, but it was an unpleasant experience altogether.

6. THE BAR WAS UNATTENDED:
Some of guests complained that several times they went to get a drink and the bar did not have clean glasses OR that the bar was unattended.

I acknowledge that Joseph made his best effort to mitigate a difficult situation. However, overall, my experience with Roma’s Hospitality was NOT worth the money that I paid. I was embarrassed with my guests about the food and the service.

Excellent service! Excellent food! Very accommodating! Beautiful venue! Staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special and memorable. I highly recommend this venue! Thank you to Joe and everyone at Roma's!

Delayed service, dry and simply incorrect food, and not the best pricing transparency - so careful when signing contracts.

Best thing going for it was the look of the venue.

Just had my daughter's Quinceanera at Roma's this past weekend and I can't say enough about how well the staff treated us. Janet was absolutely amazing to deal with before the event and was always ready and willing to answer any questions I had. Joseph was also very attentive during our event and kept popping in to make sure everything was ok. We had such an amazing event. Thank you Roma's Hospitality Centre! You get 5 stars from me!

Roma’s Hospitality is the perfect place to host any venue from the ambiance to the staff. From the initial meeting to the venue I received stellar service. In searching for the perfect location to host a baby shower was key and by far Roma’s exceeded the expectations. They take care and heavy precision to ensure the vision created is successfully accomplished. From the moment I stepped into the facility at first, I felt welcomed with the overwhelming design of the facility to my first meeting and tour of the hall rooms with Joseph. He answered the abundance of questions I posed and was a delight to speak with. The options and suggestions provided as there were a couple of Vegans in attendance of the planned event were great. Leading up to the baby shower I had several conversations with Janet who was equally outstanding with her engaging politeness and assistance. They encourage to reach out throughout which was very accommodating and reassuring in hosting a venue. Along the way Alessandria is also helpful and very pleasant. On the evening of the baby shower I was delighted to have the assistance of Joseph to ensure that everything went smoothly. He was readily available on hand throughout the course of the event which was amazing. He is a phenomenal genuine and invaluable asset. The hall was great and arranged as requested. I would also like to extend a thank you to Nigel for his exceptional service alongside of the other staff that were serving for the evening. Overall I highly recommend using Roma’s Hospitality for any venue. The staff are impeccable and definitely passionate of ensuring your needs are met for a memorable evening. The hall is exquisite and it was a magical night. They deserve the accolades for they are amazing and I highly recommend them.

The following includes feedback regarding both the hall and the catering/service: not an ideal location (industrial area, no landscaping) ; meager selection of non-alcoholic beverages; service staff seemed stressed, unapproachable and somewhat disorganized; food was of very disappointing quality (+ overcooked, underseasoned).

Roma's Hospitality Centre went above and beyond for my wifes baby shower! From our first meeting with Jospeh and staff till the end they took care of everything and was making sure things where running smoothly and if any thing need modifications.

I can say one thing is these place is gorgeous! Ever since the day of the baby shower the guests keep talking about how fresh and hot (Piping hot) the food was. My wife mentioned that when the food came out and everyone started to eat it was dead silence LOL. They where really enjoy the meal. Also the waitress/waiter staff made sure everyone was taking care of and if my wife needed any special requests there was no hassle at all.

I can say that Roma's Hospitality Centre left and amazing impression on us and our guests. We would definitely host another event here.

Roma's Hospitality is a beautiful venue for a wedding or any special events. Janet and Joseph are a pleasure to work with. However, the response times are painstakingly long making the event unintentionally stressful. The food was not on par with expectation but the rates are very competitive. Their main vendor Legends Entertainment is a nightmare to work with to say the least he gave us the contract on the day of our wedding and hasn't followed up since.

Beautiful venue! Staff is super helpful, flexible and attentive. The food was fantastic, all my guests praised it. It really was a great experience.
