Friendly people, vegan nachos were pretty good, wish it came with more salsa. I hope they can source vegan sour cream as well:)

Went here late at night, night menu was beautiful and the Nachos were to die for. Service was amazing and server was very friendly, I will definitely return!

Female staff leave alone female patrons to sit at bar unserved for 15 min while serving anyone and everyone who showed up to bar for service til I had to say excuse me very rude tone and response and gave me the bill after first drink, but attentive to male patrons

Rombys is an awesome local bar. The food is made in house and delicious. The bartenders are second to none. Amelia, Audrey, Keenan, Wad, Susie and Amy are FANTASTIC. I hear the day time bartenders are just as great. You’ll never be disappointed here.

One of the best bars in the north end. Awesome staff, great food, compassionate owners. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner or late night drinks. You just can't beat the service and prices.

Horrible place the bartender was so rude and ignorant, we asked to listen to music at half time and she said no we could go to another bar.then we asked to talk to the manager and then Emilia asked us to leave n dont come back! Like seriously the place was a dump anyway and I would never step foot back in there again even if you paid me.the bartender Emilia was sloppy ignorant and rude. Wow! Just wow I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever oh the bartender's name was Emilia! How embarrassing for the owner to have someone like this representing your establishment! Unbelievable

Was so happy with the entire experience! I got salt and pepper wings and they were so crispy and delicious! Fries were perfect. Beer was cold! Service was friendly! My hubby and I can't wait to go back!

Great service, great atomsphere. Had a few pints and some nachos. All top notch. There is a reason this place is busy. Top quality.

Stranded in canada during a snowstorm and waited it out here at Rombys. Great food, friendly staff and good drinks.

Overall I wouldn't want to get stranded at any other location.

Romby’s has one of the best menus for quality of food and pricing that I’ve seen in St. Catharines. The service was great for how busy it was and I’d definitely return for more drinks and to try more!

If you are a person of color and would like to have a racist experience, you should definitely try this place out. A friend and I visited this establishment and weren't even acknowledged when we entered the door. We stood around for 10 minutes until we just took an empty table. We had to search for a server and ask for our table to be cleared. It was cleared, but never wiped. We just sat there at a dirty table. Still, no one came to ask what we wanted. We had to approach the bar ourselves to request a menu. We then had to stop the server who kept passing and ignoring us. She told us she was not serving tables (although we watched her bring food and drinks to multiple tables) and said we had to order for ourselves at the bar. The last straw was when we told her we would like to order from the menu and she responded with " well, what do you want"? Umm.maybe to be treated with respect.and a glass of water would have been nice! Let's just say this place is not welcoming unless you look like the majority of it's patrons. It's 2022. Do better, people.

Had read a few reviews prior to going and it sounded promising. Upon arrival our group was skeptical but kept an open mind given the rave reviews. We were NOT remotely disappointed! Small interior, welcoming staff, exceptional food reasonably priced. We were a group of 4 and all tried different items. I had the brisket with horseradish mayo on a baguette and fresh cut fries…i was mad I had to share because it was a symphony for my taste buds! I tried my hubby’s pulled pork.it was moist and flavourful and I was hard pressed to be disappointed with our exchange of half each. Both meals were hearty, well presented and exceptionally good. Our friend had the smoked turkey and was equally impressed although I myself could not comment as I did not try. If in the area this is a must try! We will definitely be back and cant wait to tell all our friends.

It was great. Was inside watching the golf and enjoying a Buff Wrap. Get out there and support your local restaurants.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great local place. Miss the dart boards they use to have (pre pandemic) but I guess maybe a different direction.

Hands down the best Pulled Pork Sandwich in Ontario if not the best iv'e ever had, along with their home cut fries.

I've been going to Rombys for a long time and always found the atmosphere and hospitality very good, they also offer a menu with a variety of pub grub.

EXCELLENT, is the only way to describe the wings, that Romby's serve.
We ordered 3 lbs, Medium, Wolverine and 40 Creek BBQ and, they were probably THE BEST WINGS i've had since moving to the Region.

We ordered " crispy ", and they were done to perfection. I highly reccomend Romby's!

If I didn't know about this place, I'll be honest, waking by I'd never go in. But.the wings are frifgen amazing. Presmoked and lightly deep fried, they are not battered, they are light and crispy and so so good. Hands down, one of the best wings I've ever had

Everything on the menu is outstanding. The wings are the best in ontario. If you are a lover of true suicide wings there is nowhere better than Rombys.
The management and staff are second to none

We stopped here on the way back from a Niagara falls weekend. As it was Good Friday, there was a fish 'n' clips special on. I was asked if I wanted one or two pieces. The two pieces arrived and I know I'd be quite full afterwards.

A delicious, crunchy batter on the fish with light, flaky white fish inside. The chips were hand cut and double fried the way they should be. Wonderful coleslaw came with it to finish off the meal with.

I'm a stickler for malt vinegar, only white was presented. Given that the fish was so good and so much I left most of the chips behind without worrying about vinegar.

Definitely a steal at $14.

Amazing chicken wings and brisket, super friendly staff. Unfortunately there was a belligerent man named Ron harassing the staff about their service, he kept saying “I’m a certified Yelp reviewer” thankfully they handled him peacefully. 10/10 would recommend.

I just love the smoked wings! Such flavour! Everything is unique with the smoky flavour. A definite must try!

They said "last call isnt 2am" my friends and I got there at 1: 20. Only wanted a couple drinks then we were going to leave, and they denied us. That's how ya treat customers? That's sad

Nice little place, very clean, booths socially distanced. Most of all the staff is amazing and drinks are very reasonable.

The wolverine wings are the best wings in the city, hands down. The Romby’s burger is filling, the apple/turkey wrap is killer and don’t get me started on the pizza rolls. Besides the amazing food, the staff are top notch and if the community is ever in need, you KNOW Romby’s will be there supporting it.

Never ordered from Romby’s take out until 3 weeks ago, but now it’s our favourite place! Their sandwiches are amazing, and wings and nachos are even better. Believe it or not the nachos make for perfect take-out. I recommend the southwest nachos with pulled pork and taco beef added on. Or spoil yourself with pulled pork and brisket added on the nachos. Just ordered tonight, and decided we’re going back again this weekend.

Highly recommend the Romby’s burger! Wow! This is the kind of burger you have once and never eat any other burger again. Literally incredible. My son loves their wings and fries and everything always comes out hot and ready when asked. Terrific curbside pick up, and delicious food. Next time I’ll take a photo, it’s always devoured before we think of it.

First time ordering and super impressed. The wings and nachos were amazing. Service was excellent and no waiting even for curbside on New Years! Will definitely be added to the rotation!

Any restaurant that wants to impose this, will lose business. I hope that the desion to only allow locals will be the demise and failure of your business.

This is my local wateringhole. I've never tried the food, but I ocasionally go in for a beer. It is quiet and the acoustics are nice. The service is very good. There are several TV's usually showing sports. The wood ovens smell wonderful. My wife won't try it but one day I will treat myself to dinner and report back.

Unfortunately it's a Labat branded bar. They serve oast barnraiser and brickworks sider, along with some millstreat which is owned by labat now, but the beer selection seldom if ever changes. If you want a traditional lager, you can choose from 10 or so, but it's not the place to be for local craft. A real shame since we have such a good local beer industry.

Gotta love a good ol fashioned time at the Ol' Rombys. The food is amazing. The beer is the same as nay place you've ever been before, and the bathroom is awkward (mens room, I have no idea about the lady's room). I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place with good foods. Bon appétit mon frère

Great spot for some Saturday night entertainment. Good sound system and good bands anytime I have enjoyed an evening here. The chicken wings were large and really tasty. Good spot to enjoy some pints, music and a bite to eat.
