My recent visit aimed at supporting my community turned into a disappointing experience. Their customer service was appalling. Not only was the wrong meal served, but I also discovered a small piece of plastic in my unconsumed drink & shockingly, the staff refused to replace my order. To make matters worse, a heated argument between the cashier and chef unfolded in front of me, highlighting the lack of professionalism. This experience has left me hesitant to revisit and hesitant to recommend the establishment to others

The customer service that I received was not good. The cashier was aggressive and rude and the food was not good or bad it was just okay.

Great portions. The jerk chicken was the perfect balance of jerk spice, with roasted plantains, rice and beans with a side of Mac salad. Planning next pickup.

Absolute best stewed chicken! Don’t tell my mother-in-law …. Glad my husband surprised me with a stewed chicken & oxtail meal. Even came with spinners and plantain. Will definitely be coming back here. Compliments to the chef!

I give this place a solid 3. Taste is good but high price and small amount of chicken.

Also no hot sauce, they ran out.

If owner replies to me I'll call and talk and give them a 2nd chance.

I got a large mixed plate. Rice and peas, friend chicken and curry goat. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The portions are also generous.

The cashier was kind and helpful as it was my first time here. There was a gentleman who came from the kitchen, he was also kind and welcoming.

I bought a tray of Jerk Chicken and Goat Curry for a party of 15 for Easter weekend, and I want to say my party, and I enjoyed the meal. The lady who took my order was patient with me the day I came to get it, the handoff was great, and the room temperature since the event was the next day (kindly suggested by the lady). I want to thank the ladies and chef for their service; the portions and packaging were excellent. It went round and no spills/stains. Thank you so much, and keep up with the fantastic work. Service is phenomenal. Food is juicy, delicious and flavourful?

Thankful to Almighty that I got the chance to enjoy their food! Although everything was delicious, I have to mention the chicken they make. Both the fried chicken and the Jerk chicken were just perfect. I honestly haven’t had more juicier and well seasoned chicken in a restaurant. My second favourite were the biscuits, oh! Amazing! Soft and smooth! Finally, the vegetable salad is also worth mentioning for its freshness.

The chicken was very juicy and fresh. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The rice with the beans and the salad goes perfectly with the curry that is served on the side with the chicken. The curry adds a lot of spice to the chicken for people like me who wouldn't mind a little extra spice to their food. To top it off with the nice little dessert at the end just makes you end your meal with a smile and I would honestly go back just for the dessert. So I would definitely recommend the restaurant for people who want to share a laugh with some of the nicest well mannered group of people working at Romeos's Island Grill along with the best food and ambience.

Me and my buddy just stopped by to get a quick bite and see what good there was around here, when my eyes caught the name Romeo' Island and Grill. The food was sooo good we had to go back for another round. Amazing food, would most definitely go there again.

Wow! Where do I start. The food was so tasty. Asked for extra sauce I got that. The portion size was amazing so much food for the large. Fed my wife and son and my self The service was awesome. The lady was so wonderful I wish I got her name. Think she was the owner. Professional and very sweet. I’ll be back for sure. Jerk pork the fry chicken the fry plantain and jerk chicken I just had to try everything our local food for a weekend or in the week.

Tastes great. Price is cheap. Portions are great. I hax the jerk pork with brown rice and beans with a side of plantain. I'll eat there over KFC anytime of day.

Love when they have the jerk bbq going outside, tastes great, been going regularly. They skimped me on the chicken this week though (not sure if it was Romeo) ordered 4 quarter chickens in 2 boxes but one box ended up being less than the other, only noticed when i got home, and then I remembered seeing the chef put one of the pieces back in the bbq: - (

I find the food was overpriced and the portion was not worth the price compared to other west Indian places. Food was ok.

For the first time I tasted food got from Romeo's grill.
Everything was very fresh & full of flavors. I enjoyed every bite of it.
Truly scrumptious! Highly recommended.

Amazing food and service. I was even surprised by two excelsior water crackers in my porridge! True authentic Jamaican restaurant.

The food is amazing and consistently good, I would highly recommend and my family and I go there quite often, especially on Friday's and Saturday's, when they grill on the drum.

There is one lady there who works cash who comes across as not genuinely pleasant. I've had several mistakes before when she took my order, and when I had a look, I was upset because she didn't take my order correctly. She generally looks unhappy, like she doesn't want to be there. There is also another younger lady who works cash, who is super sweet, and I've never had any issues with my order with her.

The food is enough to make me overlook the hit or miss customer service, but it would be nice walk in and feel like your business is welcomed and wanted.

I tried this spot once with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the good atmosphere and yummy dishes and drinks. Kudos.

I ordered here on Uber Eats. I got the jerk pork dinner and a chicken dinner OMG AMAZINGGGGG.it was delicious.enjoyed it so much. I will be visiting for my next order. Thanks guys

I went for the first time last night and I hope that whom ever does the grilling never leaves.
The portion of food was amazing and the macaroni with the food was absolutely perfect.
May you never leave this little spot but expand and open many more locations ️

Killer Jamacian food. Romeo hit it outta the park! Was looking for a legit Jamacian Joint in neighborhood and defiantley found one! Got the Oxtail and Jerk Chicken Dinners and Romeo did not disappoint! Very very tasty! Oxtail had a slight sweet n savory taste to it and Jerk Chicken had a nice hint of spice with choice sautéed pickled onions ontop! I can actually taste the coconut milk in the rice n peas which is what i look for. My Jamacian food stop from now on!

You'll need to try the Cow foot soup, a the baddest thing outsidea train line Manchester/St Elizabeth ; it have cow foot cow skin and peanut, it sell offfff.

The oxtail is to die for. They even put small spinnas dumplin in it. The best oxtail I have had from a restaurant in a long time. The ackee and saltfish slaps too.
