What a joke this store
4 day special on striplion steaks $6.88
Went first day just after 6 pm
2 packs left and looked like garbage went back next 2 days and called on the third still no steaks

The bakery I used to always get fresh buns at but since Christmas haven't even had sausage buns at any of my weekly trips there

This is about the wine store. I purchased some wine there today using cash. It seemed as though the lady behind the counter was training someone. She repeatedly said to the trainee (not to me), "make sure you strongly encourage people pay by card" after I was asked how I was paying and I replied, "cash". She was dramatic when calculating the total on her calculater implying loudly that I have inconvenienced her because she now has to manually calculate it rather than use her register. After giving me my change she then turned and told the trainee, " Well, now we can't make any change for anyone else for the day". It was uncomfortable, rude, and disrespectful to me as a customer. I imagine the trainee felt quite uncomfortable as well. If she had began by asking me if I could pay another way, instead of talking about me, in front of me to her coworker, it would have been much more polite, and the situation wouldn't have been so negative. I won't be stopping there to purchase wine again. I often do and often this lady is rude. I've had enough of it. She needs to learn some customer service skills.

Great store, a little pricey but you get good products! The pharmacy people are thee best too!

This place is really just not for the people. While the items there are good and theres good variety, the environment is just not it. Me and my wife have been profiled more than once here by workers and they'll add a security guard to keep people from stealing stuff while simultaneously raising prises consistently. I only go here when I know for a fact they have stuff I need but it's not my catch all, go to grocery store. In fact I avoid it as much as I can.

It's always full of great bargains.
Produce is always fresh
Sushi is really good.
Deli staff are always so friendly I end up getting more than originally wanted.

I asked multiple times if they would label the floor as to where to line up at the self checkout. To many arguments over where to line up. Patients is at a minimum.
Store can fill up quickly and hamper movement.
It's difficult to find or contact any manager. Some staff are helpful and the other's well not so much.
Pricing are OK but not great.

If I'm in the area, I choose Independent.
Love the staff, I always feel good at checkout.
Cashiers are friendly and personable

Fair prices (not as low as a no frills/ basics but not most expensive). Best store made sausages and butcher meat is always very good. Just watch Deli usually shuts down earlier than rest of store but otherwise great food along with pharmacy and health products and vitamins, and Joe fresh clothes and kite ware products and a seasonal section. Good store.

Nice helpful people. Loved the store. We came to visit the Soo Locks, from Louisville Kentucky, America. We stayed in Michigan. I knew if we're this close, I'm coming to visit Canada. We wanted Mountain Dew that you all have and we don't. And to get the Lays chips that we don't have. And better chocolate. Canadians are noted for being very nice and friendly people. And you were. You helped me find what I wanted. If you didn't have it, you gave me ideas of places. Thank you for being nice to someone, who you could hardly understand. With southern American accents.

Nice clean store with all of the products you would expect. Lineups are frequent so I generally shop elsewhere.

Be ware, that anything you buy there that is 50 % off can not be retured, even if it’s rotten food. I bought a fruit platter thinking that it would be more ripe, and brought it to the hospital, totally spoiled the smell was so bad, and acid tasting, return it immediately, and there saying no refund final sale, why would I buy Un eatable food, very disappointed, they would rather sale rotten food, no regards for peoples well been. Who would want to buy spoiled fruit? At any price.

Great store with hard to find foods. A lot of stuff is way overpriced. Bakery section is the best!

None of the staff can answer a phone it seems like. Been trying to call with no answer at any of the lines. Even tho it says they're still open for an hour.

Store was nice and clean with a wide selection. They can be a little more pricey but well worth the quality if you can afford it. Staff at the checkout was friendly and efficient.

Mixed emotions about this place. Summertime, love their greenhouse. I like that you can find basically anything you need from food to flowers even clothes. Downside is by far the prices! Some items are ridicously high priced for no reason when they are half prices other places. They have large selection of meat except summertime, you will find a lot of green houseflies in their meat counters. So, apart from flies and prices, it's a nice place

Good selection. If you are originally from down south, its basically Zehrs. But dont call them Zehrs bags because no one will know what tf youre talking about.
