Closer from Stittsville than the Orleans store AND they had the stock we needed for my project. Heavy items came with loading assistance. Nice!

I came to this location this morning with my young daughter in tow looking for a laminate countertop. I was greeted by super friendly staff, and 2 ladies brought the countertop from the back of the store, to the front of the store for me to pay. They then also put on some vests and brought it to my car and even helped me load it! I will happily choose this rona to shop at from now on. Wonderful customer service, keep up the good work!

They have very helpful and friendly staff. Price-matching is a quick and painless process. They are the only ones around who carry the "EGO" electric power yard tools which are really great! Staff make up for a lack of a locator feature in their website.

Counter staff were great but waiting 24 minutes at the gate to pick up the order was a tad excessive. I understand being understaffed but I was told inside someone would be right with me.

Worst store ever. I went to do a curb side pick up during the lock down. 5 items all fit in the trunk. Attendant snaps "I guess I am doing this myself ". We asked if she needed help. A snarky yes. She is impatient while I get my mask on my which time she's done. Hate this store.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staffmakes my shopping easier. Lots of parking availability and it is also wheelchair accessible.

I was struggling to carry a heavy item to the check-out and 3 sales associates walked past me as if I didn't exist. I clearly didn't matter. I will only go to Home Depot in the future.

I hadn’t been to a Rona in a long time. Had some poor experiences years ago (not at this store). Stopped in Carleton Place today out of convenience to pick up a few things. Was pleasantly surprised with fantastic service and a very cheerful staff. Store is very clean as well. Extra shout out to the gentleman who working in the paint section today (Jan 10th) his positive attitude was great.

Customer service is excellent up front. Ordered a bunch of wood and went to pick it up and the fellow in the back sat in his forklift watching me struggling to put all this wood in my van. Kind of put me off a bit. Across the parking lot at Home Depot they will load anything for you.

During the curbside pickup they were always very fast. Much faster and more reliable then across the street. On top of that they have a positive attitude and are very helpful.

Not as large or well stocked as Home Depot but close. Store not nearly as busy so more relaxed. Prices are competitive and store not ultimately owned by a Trump supporter as is the case with Home Depot.

Horrible shopping experience! Purchased $5300 worth of appliances in July. All (except a dryer that is back ordered till Oct 15!) arrived Sept 5, along with a $1000 Electrolux laundry washing machine that hasn’t worked since day 1! I’ve called Rona Carleton Place, dealing with a man named Charles, who was nice at the beginning but, now that he knows there is a problem, they are avoiding my calls and not returning my messages. Further, the manufacturer has done nothing to help. Very disappointed and super frustrating! No accountability.

Asked an employee named Jennifer for the measurements of a patio set I bought so I could find a cover in store that would fit. Instead of coming to me and telling me there was no covers that fit she went back to the section I found her in. Once approached she said “we don’t have any in the size you need” was she not going to come tell me this? Super bizarre, anyways she came back up after I asked her to. I then saw a bin that was on clear out with patio covers and asked Jennifer if it would be okay to try them on the patio set they had on display which was the same as mine. She didn’t seem to have a problem with it - once me and my family member tried putting one on we realized it was way too big for the set. While struggling to get the cover back in its packaging I looked over my shoulder to see Jennifer shaking her head in displease and walk back to the original place I found her.

I am writing this review as when I asked the front cashier for a manager one wasn’t called up immediately. I asked if she could pass my complaint but I was never sure if it did. Mind you the cashier I reported to was understanding and very sweet.

As a retail store worker of 10 years it irritates me that I was treated this way. As an employee your job is to help the customers not judge or be unhelpful.

Other experiences I’ve had at this location were simply unhelpful due to the lack of knowledge in employees.

For this reason I will never return to the Rona in Carleton Place. Very displeased - I receive quality and educated services from Home Depot and will be shopping there from now on

Ordered a Bosch dishwasher June 22nd. Oct 2nd I am still waiting for it. When I call they say they will call back and never do. So frustrating to have been washing dishes by hand for so long when I could have got it at other Ottawa retailers no problem with next day delivery. Was stung along for 5 months and then told it was coming into the warehouse last week. Called this week and was told it this week it was cancelled. I assume they just don't want to honor the sale price as other companies in Ottawa do not seem to have a supply issue. Will not be shopping there again.

Horrible experience. Ordered appliances on June 2nd. Called at beginning of July for status and was told it had been delayed but would arrive early August. After waiting a total of 10 weeks, I inquired again and was told that some orders had been lost, mine being one of them. Despite expressing my concerns, they were unwilling to offer any form of compensation. Will never purchase from Rona again.

Very honestly, I don't go into Rona too much. But when I do, I'm reminded on how much I dislike the store. Not very well organized. The only saving grace is the staff are nice. Sorry guys, get your act together.

Typical Rona. Cashiers are very friendly but finding someone to answer questions can be hard and selection is very limited compared to other nearby stores.

One of the reasons I return to this store frequently is because of the service. Really outstanding and although the competition does it pretty good job. Rona in Carleton place sets the standard.

I honestly wish I could give this 0 stars. Our experience with this location and the staff here has been deplorable. Went in on June 14th to order a new fridge (during COVID so we knew we would probably have to wait). They would not price match with Canadian Appliance for us as this location was 'too far' red flag number 1. So in order to price match we would have had to go to the Rona on Merivale. As it was a Sunday afternoon and things were closing we simply asked the employee working if she could offer us free delivery instead (69.99 for delivery, would have saved ~120 with the price match). To which she responds 'You know for somebody who needs a fridge so badly you're kind of being a jerk'. Red flag number 2. Reluctantly she gave us the free delivery and we placed the order. The initial delivery date of June 19th was on our invoice (I thought this was really fast considering the circumstances so we were thrilled). However, she said that there was a chance we would get bumped to the following delivery date of June 26th.ok no stress. June 19th rolls around, no fridge, June 26th rolls around no fridge. Red flag number 3. Not even an e-mail for phone call. So I started contacting this Rona location as well as the customer service number that deals with appliance deliveries to see what was going on. They then tell us that the new delivery date would be July 17th. July 17th rolls around, not a word. Red flag 4. I then spent 2 hours on hold with an employee who finally told me it would be July 27th. At this point I had basically lost faith that anyone was telling us the truth. July 27th, no fridge, no phone call. Red flag 5. I phoned this Rona location AGAIN and finally had another employee tell me that he 'was not sure how everyone was coming up with these delivery dates as this fridge is not coming into their warehouse until DECEMBER 2020. So it took us nearly 2 months and endless hours of phone calls just to be told it essentially was not coming. We then took more time out of our work day to drive to this location as we were promised that the store manager would be in and we could hopefully get this resolved. Drive over 30 minutes and guess what? No store manager in. Red flag 6. The employees working could not confirm that they even had any refridgerators in their warehouse at this time. So we cancelled our order and got our refund. In the 2 months of battling back and forth we could have had a new fridge by now. I understand that stock in the warehouse is not a store issue, however my issue with this store is how poorly our order was managed and how rudely we were spoken to by their employees. They just lost a $1400 sale. I will NEVER shop at this Rona again. I should have gone to the Home Depot across the street after being called jerks. Lesson learned!

This store has good sales. I also find the things I need typically. I've regularly dealt with Allison at cash who is helpful and friendly. Big lumber section, and many knowledgeable employees. I have had to wait at times to speak to them though but so long as you're patient you can speak to them and they've offered me good advice. New dishwasher from them in March, and it's great also.

Great staff. I've been in a couple of times now and the staff has been really pleasant and friendly! It's a bit of a drive but the customer service makes it worth the trip!

The staff at this Rona are amazing! Mike, the Project Sales Co-ordinator went well above expectations, he literally saved us by getting us appliances for our new home. The original supplier, Canadian Appliance Source dropped the ball horribly and Mike was able to quickly restore our faith in business by more than filling the huge gap left by C. A. S. It’s now Rona or nothing! Thanks Mike!

It was the hardest time I've ever had to place and get wood for a deck it took me two days to clean my up a mess that they made by selling me Lumber that was not there. Plus the lack of staff which is an ongoing problem with this organization and people that just don't know what you're doing or don't care. I will not go back to the store again

Placed on online order for curbside pickup only to wait a week with no response. Went in to get the items myself to find staff were plentiful and friendly. So why couldn't my order be fulfilled? Not going here again.

I went into my local RONA to try and buy a $2000 Husqvarna lawn tractor. Paul at the hardware service counter was as unaccomadating as possible. They had a 20% off any single item sale, online and in store, tried to get him to order one in so I could take advantage of the promotion, and his advice was to drive half an hour away, to buy the 3000 model, or go to Kingston. Now I miss out on $400 in savings, can’t support my local RONA, and left thinking that I will never step foot back in this store again. Why have a sale, and only stock one of the most expensive eligible items, also not put in your flyer that John Deere is excluded, and have to find out when you drive to the store? Clearly the people who made this promotion forgot about excluding lawn tractors and decided to just hide them all away. Not a single one in the warehouse.until tomorrow I’m sure. What a joke of a store, no wonder the parking lot is always empty. 1-2 years max until this place goes under. Fire Paul.

I almost never post reviews but this one is more than deserved. I bought a John Deere riding mower today in Carleton Place and the entire staff were outstanding. A competitor had a sale on but I went to RONA hoping they do something. I first spoke with Paul F.who was fantastic. Since they did not have the exact model he needed the Manager, Todd Bradley to get involved. Todd and Paul looked at the competitive offer and offered me an even better choice. The yard staff were great helping load the mower onto my trailer. One of the best shopping experiences ever where I left feeling satisfied with my purchase and felt that the staff really cared.
If you are in the area and need anything that RONA sells you really should go there first.

I agree with Nick and Jack. Why screw a local guy out of 400 and not advertise in the flyer that John Deere are not included in the 20% off deal, but advertise that cub cadet are, yet when you buy cub cadet online, the online site allows you to apply the discount to cub cadet lawn tractors. Why even bother going to the local Rona, when you get better deals online. It’s definitely not for the stellar customer service, and you will just leave upset. I think someone needs to explain to the Rona staff that if they can’t do better then their online counterpart then what is their added benefit? Shop online, with ease, or go to the store, get worse deals, and horrible service.
