Always have the best collection and stocked shelves. Even the staff are really kind and friendly. Special shout out to Harry.he went above and beyond to find what I was looking for and was very courteous.
Call ahead before wasting your time and gas. Website said they had inventory (plenty). Drove all the way there only to find there was none, only a display model which they wouldn't sell me anyways.
I went to look for commander circuit breaker. I asked for help and was wrongly advises by one employee. It took three employees to unlock the cabinets and search for my commander circuit breaker. Note: nobody reached their own Rona Computer. This should have been done immediately. I left telling them, I would return with the broken one Note: I found the breaker under a different name at Home Depot. Note: Again, I had to do the search online and leg work at home depot also,
I was helped by an associate who went way beyond the regular customer service we are all experiencing everywhere you go lately. They did not carry the line I needed a replacement part for so (forgive if I get the spelling wrong) Saete the associate searched for the company and located them in Mississauga this was 330 pm she says they close at 430 so I thanked her and headed off. Arrived at Taymore fixtures explained my dilemma and within 5 minutes the gentleman came back with the part and wouldn't take payment. Exemplary people still walk this land bless both of these individuals.
Went in there today, Oct 24th, 6: 30 pm to buy 2 LvLs, someone got two for me from a big pile, then went to the cashier to pay, she was looking for the bar-code, then Allen came to confuse the whole situation saying they cannot sell lvls at this time, Such a fiasco, he told me this after making me wait while he couldn’t find the barcode made me wait 20 mins. Than said he could not sell them, i said ok im going to homedepot to buy 2x10s he said oh wait i can sell you those! Complete lack of skill on his part. He did not want to sell the lvl because he was not able to walk outside to get the barcode.
Certain staff in this location just brings down this store! And loss of sales.
Such a joke this place, such a disorganized staff, Allen, lack of common sense and customer service! Apparently they can only sell certain items at certain times at this location. Keep ur pile of lvls. And Rona- learn to teach your staff customer service skills.
Very poor service, I was standing there in the store for about 40 minutes, just for the associate to come and help me after 4 employees told me they will send someone for help.
Staff are fantastic. The store layout is not. Somebody in corporate needs to shake the Plan-O dept. Bonus.it's always been a nice quiet shopping experience.
I just went to Rona on an "education mission" and realized that they had competitive pricing and a vast array of product lines available to respective shoppers. The staff polite and helpful in answering questions about product use and applicable construction techniques.
Online information not accurate, showed 3 of the item I wanted in stock. No one at customer service or pro desk could find them. Ended up ordering from HD.
Went into the store to buy chimney screws. Says seven in stock. 4 people tell me to find someone else, last person can’t find them and left. Last time I was in to price match and left as they were being extremely difficult. Manager called me and offered me the price check. Had to go back in to complete the transaction. These employees are terrible and expect this at Walmart
One cash register opened.long slow line.had troubles with the pricing of one of the items I was purchasing. Price on the shelf was $5.99, price at the register was $7.99.getting a price check was just as slow as the line up to pay. I ended up having to do the price check myself by going back to the location and taking a picture of the item.what poor service.
This was my 1st time to this Rona location there is one close to my home that I refuse to go to as well. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else, that wants your business and has better customer service.
Great no nonsense service and clean! Feels like a Lowe's inside (CDN corporate office in the back apparently). Price match was honoured with friendly service and without any issues. Have done the locker pick-up service prior which was ready same-day
This is a fairly good store in terms of its size and availability of tools and hardware that I usually need. However, the signage can be improved because I was going north on Martin Grove and I couldn't see the store's sign on the south side of the building.
I bought 2 sheets of drywall. To enter in the loading area I waited for 10 minutos without no clients in front of me. The guy came with the wrong dry wall and spent 15 minutes to come back with the right one.
Customer service is great at this place. I always get someone to ask questions if I have any. Most of the time you get the knowledged person to assist.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service, waited outside for 1 HOUR for curbside order kept calling the store and a staff would answer the call and say someone is coming out with your order right now.after an hour I went to the door and the staff say yes we are bringing your order right now.after that a lady comes and tells me that they are closing now and starts closing the door when i told her i am waiting for an hour she went inside and checked and sent another staff with a REFUND RECEIPT and said that we cant find your order so heres your refund and just locked the door. On the receipt they wrote cancelled order on customer choice what kind of BS

I ordered my materials online two times from this location, even after receiving the confirmation email that my order is ready, I got there but they said we ran out of your material! This is how RONA respect people
Very frustrating experience with your company. I ordered some products for delivery which was scheduled then no one showed for two days. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, called again, I was told the order was delivered, would I be calling again if the order was delivered?
Horrible experience with online order pickup. I waited 40 minutes for one piece of wood to be brought to my car, after calling multiple times waiting in the parking lot. No apologies were made, they do now know the true meaning of client experience. Do not go to this location, home depot is less than 2 minutes away.
Had to wait for over an hour to get my curbside pick up order. Their excuse: I made a "special order". Never ordering here again. I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
I called them TWICE asking if they could cut up the plywood I ordered so that I could fit it in my car just to be sure for curbside pickup. They said yes both times. When I came to pick it up they told me that they cant do any cutting due to the pandemic. I asked them to check again. Then they came back and said that the saw was broken. How convenient.
Very slow service, contractor desk lady don't guide you well, where you have to go and from where you pick up stuff. She give me invoice and said park car over there and wait there for your turn, after waiting 1 hour they said you have to come in line up and they we will load the stuff, it means you are jusy waiting the time of your customers. When someone calls on their number, they didn't pick up the call for 10 minutes.
We started off placing the order the night before We thought with our past experience we would get a Confirmation email to pick up within 3 or 4 hours the next day just like our past experience with Home depot, Canadian tire, Lowe's and a different Rona's location closer to our house but not this one! Call 3 different times to get no satisfaction they said they were 100 Orders behind and there was no way to help us out! Save yourself the aggravation and to to a different location
I deal with this rona on a regular basis for work. I order my the pressure treated materials from here for the company I work for. Craig at the contractors desk is 100 percent reliable and highly informative. During this past year we have all had our difficulties in one way or another. Ours and many others was the availability of pressure treated lumber. Shortages and non available materials never really heard of.during this time I had I high dependence on Craig for information on availability of materials. He came through for me when ever possible and even to the point of giving me updates from time to time on the availability. The rest of the people who deal with customers in the lumber area are great people and allways ready to help you out. My deliveries are alllways on time and we are treated well by all at Rona Martin Grove. I find almost anywhere.if you treat people with respect and not act like some pampas big time contractor.you get it back. Thanks Craig.and all the guys and gals that treat us so well. Steve Currie
Sorry but these guys are clueless! Called on multiple occasions. They refused to look something up for me; whether they had an item in stock or not before I headed over. Kept me on hold for 10 minutes at a time until I had to hang up! Very frustrating - will never shop there again!
Terrible customer service! This company does not take any responsibility for damages to your property if you park in their parking lot or have an employee that you did not ask to assist you with loading material in your vehicle and he damages your vehicle as what happened to me. I never asked their employee for help now I must pay for damages he has done to my vehicle. The employee admitted that he damaged my vehicle to his manager. Very poor customer service. Never will shop at Rona again!
The room heater that we got from curbside pickup was not the one which we ordered online.we ordered digital room heater and RONA gave us manual roomheater.as it was curbside pickup we didn't check it while it was being put in our car's boot.i didn't expect this kind of mistake from them.
Poor customer service, needed pressure treated dimensional lumber was told the sizes I was looking for not in stock I went in the yard and looked myself and ended up getting what I needed
Had some issues with agressive rude female cashier at contractor dept. Manager looked after me and confirmed unsatisfactory directions and treatment of a customer.
Very slow, very bad organized process for curbside pick-up. Waited 30 minutes after getting a response "Your order will be there momentary". What does it mean "Your order is ready for pick-up" in RONA terms?
Is it so complex task to put at least two or three people on taking orders out from the store?
Also pay attention to emails you send. They look pretty much unfinished. As a customer I would like to see the company name in the From field and something like "Your order is ready" in the email subject.
Worst customer service you will ever find in any building material store! Strongly suggest avoiding this place in order to save the headache. Forced to give a 1 star in order to write review but they deserve a 0.
I was looking for help but They send you from person to person. They hire some teenagers and women in the customer service who have completely no idea about their products!
No price protection what's so ever, unlike Home Depot which has 30 days to adjust price. So, if you buy and if price drops 2 days later, you won't get any adjustment unless you return and buy again. No wonder why they lag behind. I hardly find anyone to help with my purchase and do not buy from them unless I've no other option.
Furnace purchase - awful experience, they do not motivated to sell anything. The sales person reject to talk about furnaces on the floor or customers service desk, any at his personal desk. Very unusual sales practice. How does this place still survive?

I rented a steam vacuum here and I was fairly anxious for the process because I’ve never done it before. Allison helped me from checking out to its return and I am so glad she was there to help me through it. Her friendliness and kindness is a trait that can’t be taught in retail.
I went to this Rona who had advertised the Government of Canada 25% rebate on select major appliances. I took a look around and found some models that I liked. I wanted to understand what the total cost would be after all discounts and taxes applied. I couldn't find anyone on the floor so I went to check-out. They told me that the model I selected was not part of the promotion even though it was in the section with balloons and signs on the appliances advertising the promotion. I then asked if I could have someone help me find the models that were part of the promotion. They told me no one from the appliance department was in. I then asked if I could speak to the manager. They told me he was on lunch. I asked them to page him anyways. The manager showed up and I proceeded to ask questions about appliances. He just told me, no one is here from appliances but they'll be in tomorrow. I ended up leaving and purchasing my appliances somewhere else. Even though this Rona is close to me, I don't intend on shopping at this location again.
Horrible service and very deceitful staff, good things i didn't open the 5K in flooring as yet because that the baseboards and accessories are going back. Was treated good for that purchase but ill-treated for a 39.99 purchase. Same customer, same wallet, 39.99 item is for the same project. Train your staff to be courteous on the phone, and don't try to trick customers.
Wait for an hour and they just came out and say sorry we don't have it. For the 1x2x8 PT. After that is just a refund and get the hell out of the store.
