This retailer at that particular location is very much a consumer oriented retailer. Every time I visit the place, staff is always there to help customers. All retailers should make customer satisfaction their top priority and to train all their front line employees to go out of their way to help customers make their shopping experience an enjoyable one.
Called Dundas Rona and the customer service at the appliance department was rude when I asked questions for availability and if what is shown on the website was accurate, because of passed experiences. She then hung up the phone on me. The lack of customer service has gone litterly down the drain and I did work in customer service before. Pathetic!
Amazing service while I was there, older male employee got me exactly what I was looking for in no time at all and got me out of there. Will 100% be returning because of this service.
Incredibly suboptimal service.most of the associates are totally clueless about everything, and you have to constantly ask to deal with the manager to get proper action.
I came and asked for clover seeds, and three different staff all gave me attitude, told me “never heard of it”, “go check it out yourself at the entrance” and “if its not there then we don’t have it”. I came here because it is available online. But the attitude from three different staff made me feel I am asking a stupid question and I am wasting their time, or maybe I’m not white and they all are? Thank you for your service and I will not be back again.
Good store, helpful staff. Huge parking lot. There was only one checkout counter staffed on a weekend, resulting in huge line up and waste of time for customers.
No wonder several RONA stores has closed. The worst big box stores to shop. Never have the items they say they have. You don't even see the lumber products you are buying. I ended up going to the other stores to get what I need everytime I shop at RONA. They should send the store managers and employees to Home Depot for training.
Great in person help. I needed advice on a shower and I was blessed to have 2 associates assist me. A tremendous experience at this location. Knowledgeable and helpful.
Usually I have a good experience at this location, but not today. 4 times I called from their parking lot to pick-up some wood for a deck and I received my order 1 hour later. Also, never asked for id.
Terrible customer service. Went looking for a peace lily that the online inventory showed as having 18 in stock. I looked around and couldn’t find it so I asked an associate and she said it’s whatever is out and she doesn’t know if they have it. I asked another person who asked if another person can help me out and he shook his head. There was a total of 5 people there who were bouncing me back and forth but not one person looked for the lily. Very disappointing service.
Get out of the store! Thats the way the staff interacts with you here. Called the curbside pickup number for more than 20 minutes with no one picking up the phone so when i go and open the door to see if anyone can help me - the person at the desk shouts Get Out of the store.no please, no sorry sir but you cant be here. Rona.get a handle on the way you interact with your customers.otherwise we can choose to just not shop with you.
Excellent online purchase process. Great, multiple email, follow up order processing. Fast and very efficient curb pick up procedure. Well managed Rona.a tip of the hat to the entire experience.
It was the second time I did order online, and then they opoliges they dont have the Item in store, Idont know how is the item available on line in store but actually not available!? They have to fix there software system.
Great staff here! Especially compare to other Rona locations I've been too. The staff here are actually NICE and care about their jobs. Everytime I go here, I am welcomed with multiple staff in different departments asking if I need assistance with finding something. It is so nice. Such a big difference than compared to Canadian Tire, where you can never find one employee that works there and constantly getting lost due to their bad signage. Come here for any of your project needs!
The lights man helped me with some bulbs. Great fella. Reminded me of way back when you'd go into a store and people actually asked "Can I help you? " I wish I took down the lights man's name. He deserves a medal.
The curbside pickup needs to be improved to something similar to Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire or Home Depot, where you press an I'M HERE link on your emailed confirmation.
Online order went well until pick up! We sat waiting in the parking lot for more then half hour. In that time we watched a total of 2 orders brought out. Ridiculous that they do not have this more organized. I will be using Home depot.
Just like other locations. Rona knows how to maintain consistency from one location to the next. Staff is helpful. Better than the super big box stores
I would like to send a huge thank you to Kris from the paint department for going above and beyond for us! Her knowledge and expertise really saved us! We had three gallons of paint in a colour that didn’t work for us. Kris did a huge colour correction and ensured our complete satisfaction, although that meant staying past her shift. Amazing customer service! Thank you again!
One of the best Store in area, very helpful stuff. They did a great deal for me with my deck upgrade project. Calculations was excellent, service top notch, fast and respectful. Will recommend this place for my friends and family.
Great help until you checkout today! 9 people in line and 1 cashier open out of 3 registers? Took 5 min.to find product&20 min.to pay for it! 400pm wed. Not impressed today.
I was at Rona today to buy supplies to create a divider at home for my son in online at home school. A kind man named Al went beyond in helping me with my project! I have never had a bad experience with this location. 5 Stars!
It seems to be a clean and organized store, I just needed 1 thing, but the gentleman who aided me in locating it was clear and precise, so I was in and out in just moments.
Ordered a fridge online. This store calls me, schedules a delivery. Then cancels and say they will call back, never do. I call back, they say its on back order, will call next week. Never do. Finally 8 weeks later, they call and say they no longer have it and are cancelling my order (I suspect they didn't bother to follow up with the warehouse). 8 weeks waiting for fridge I didn't get that I had already paid for.
Don't even consider ordering an appliance on line from this store.
Excellent experience from staff member Wellington who answered questions and when he was not sure stated as much to Sandra at check out for van rental, checkout of material and return. The person at back who helped load was friendly and quick.
Poor curbside pickup system. Do yourself a favor and go to home Depot instead, you'll be in and out in 5 minutes and won't have to call anyone on the phone.
Unfortunately have to put min rating, because they do not apply flyer pricing on shelves. Bought a spin mop system for 44cad, and on the flyer found it had 20% discount (8.80 CAD) only when I left store. To get this back I have to return.
Went to this store to get copper fittings and they had such a poor selection. I asked a store associate for assistance to help me locate a few coupling and was advised with his snobby attitude that they do sell individual couplings. When we looked in the box they had none. He had no answers for me and walked away. If I wanted them I need to purchase a package of ten. That seem to be the trend when I looked in the other boxes as well they had only bulk items. Went to local HD and got my shopping done there. Considering Rona is consolidating stores you would want to make any sale possible. I'll thing twice going to another Rona.
