Dr. Hana and team are fantastic. A few years ago they so sweetly guided me through saying goodbye to a beloved cat and followed up so thoughtfully with a card and her paw prints - just so sweet and thoughtful. Just recently took my other car in and felt the team was so attentive and patient even when it took three people to get blood samples from my (sedated and still spicy) cat! They are upfront on costs and options. Highly recommend!

Super friendly, knowledgeable staff from the front desk to Dr. Meagan to the Vet Tech. We've had a few doggie friends over the years and had other vets "push" for extras but at RAH, they just did what was needed. Explained why and why not for various services or meds. Our doggie is a rescue with some "quirks" and Dr. Meagan was great in making her comfortable with the whole visit. Thank you!

I have been coming here for more than 25 years with many pets and have always been impressed with Dr. Skutelsky and his staff.there are also newer doctors but have not used their services.

It is the best animal hospital. I am grateful to find this hospital. Dr. Hana is the best! And the entire staff are amazing. They give a lot of love to my puppy

I really appreciate the extensive care Dr. Hana & staff gave to our cat Luna. We went to RAH for a second opinion and she took the time to answer all of our questions and was very patient and kind.

We will be bringing Luna back to Dr. Hana for future vet appointments.

I have been coming for the past year and a half and am so glad I switched to them. They’re so knowledgeable front desk staff is kind, vet assistant is so kind and helpful. They’re very patient with my one cat who has to take calming meds before coming as he is hates the vet visits but they have made him so comfortable here and I’m so glad they offered the calming meds to my cat Toby before coming to his appointments. Everything is wonderful.

ZERO rating! Our experience June 17,2023. Today our 10 year old pittie who has been a patient at the RAH for 8 years was turned away because she was late. Our girl was not allowed in even though she was hot and had travelled from Hamilton. The many road closures, some of which were not announced, added to travel time. In my opinion, the Vet refused to see Harley as she's an older dog and therefore won't be adding to RAH business for much longer. I am alerting the Vetinary College in writing of the total disregard and lack of treatment for our loving, aged, rescue dog.
To all patients and those looking for a vet for their beloved pets, please don't be swayed by the $50 discount and free nail clipping. Our experience today has left us in total disbelief that a doctor will do this knowing the animal's history. Please note no later time was offered. Our pets are family! Shame on you RAH!

Very compassionate and practical vets, reasonable pricing and thoughtful follow-up. We're quite pleased to have found Dr. Meaghan, best vet we've ever used for our pet.

This hospital was once a caring, knowledgeable, patient-centric facility that possesed a genuine concern about what was best for our pet. With a change in ownership, it has morphed into a climate of arrogance, making mistakes while gaslighting about who is ultimately responsible, and, while simulataneuiously recommending whatever revenue generating services can be conceived of for our elderly pet - even though our dog has far exceeded life expectancy for its breed. We are moving to another facility that reflects the same qualities that we once valued in Rocesvalles Animal Hospital after being patients for years - but you know what? They do not care. EDIT UPDATE: Having read the response to the review above from RAH, it provides a "Kodak Moment" to demonstrate the condecension with which the author and some other staff members regard their clients. Being edified about advancements in pet care was, of course, unknown to someone like myself with over 40 years in human life sciences because we all know that there have been absolutely no advancements in human care over time (sarcasm intended). As for the statement about how RAH has seen our pet through to her golden years - This is a clear example of much of the gaslighting experienced in the recent years with this clinic. RAH has only innoculated our pet for rabies, etc.and prescribed heart medication and flea and tic treatments after another Veterinarian in the location of our vacation home discovered a murmur. I could go into great detail about the negligence of this clinic for failing to place requested orders for this critical medication when they were given extensive advance notice, forcing us to spend hours calling alternate clinics and then driving ridiculous distances to find a clinic that had the same medication in stock, while they gaslit about who was accountable these mistakes. Our pet's longevity is exactly because of our resistence to Dr. Henry's recommendation that we change out our dog's from-weaning-home-made diet to one that RAH just happens to sell, when he failed to check the file and assumed that we were purchasing commercial brands - and when we declined Dr. Hana's recommendarion that we take our fifteen year old pet into their clinic for traumatizing monthly blood tests, while accusing us of not havng our pet's best interests at heart for failing to do so. This breakdown between ourselves and RAH has no doubt happened in the nic of time as we look at the predictability of our pet's demise and consider how we personally witnessed nearly inconsolable pet owners having their newly deceased pet's remains held hostage while a staff member seized the moment to conduct a hard "sell up" for the many expensive options for RAH to dispose of their dear companion's corpse. RAH may once have cared, but in the recent years, that care is focused on a word that begins with "p". Not your "pet". But rather your "pocketbook".

Dr. Skutelsky has been our siamese cats’ vet for years. He is extremely knowledgable, kind and fair. Our Yoshi in his heyday (he’s an 18year old senior now) was quite formidable and Dr. S is the only vet we’ve encountered who could handle him- Yoshi evidently respects his authority!
Sad update: Our sweet Yoshi died on Feb. 22,2022… thanks to the staff at Roncesvalles Vet Clinic for their professionalism and compassion during such a difficult time for our family.

Update, May, 2023. Feel extremely betrayed by this vet practice and will never recommend them again.

Dr. Schwarz is excellent! She takes the time to educate pet parents. She taught us about the anatomy of our pup’s ear and how to clean/administer his meds properly. She then made us return the demonstration which helped us feel more confident in caring for his ear infection. Highly recommend this place!

The staff at Roncesvalles Animal Hospital are amazing. Dr. Meaghan helped me with a special diet for my Penelope. They truly love and care about there furry patients.
