I’d like to acknowledge the excellent staff at the Roncy Mac store! They are wonderful and dedicated service professionals.
They’re super nice and approachable, and are reasonable with their charges for services rendered.
In fact, a few months ago I brought my laptop in with a minor software glitch and they ended up refunding the diagnostic fee after returning it in working condition, because it was an easy fix.
I heartily recommend these good people to any and all users and owners of Apple products. Without reservation.

What a fantastic experience for the third time running. The staff is knowledgable and very helpful. Moreover, very friendly. The store is clean simple, and Apple like would recommend any day over visiting an Apple Store.

I spilled water on my older MacBook Air and assumed it was a goner and that I would have to dump $1.5k on a new one. I took it in as a last ditch effort and when I spent the $99 for the diagnostic service I assumed nothing would come of it and that I would be pressured to buy a new MacBook like would be the case at many places. I was also a bit worried when they asked me to remove it from my find my app and to give them the password that something sketchy could happen (turned out to be fine).

Much to my surprise, they got my water-damaged MacBook to turn on again after opening it up and removing water from some sort of audio compartment and it is now with me and is working fine.

They also were extremely communicative and told me that there was water residue in other areas but in their honest opinion I shouldn’t buy new parts unless it stops working again in the future because it’s an older MacBook and because it at least for now is up and running.

I know nothing about technology and they could have easily been like a sketchy mechanic and try to charge me for unnecessary repairs or convince me to buy a new MacBook when it is actually repairable but they did not do any of that. They repaired it and were honest and communicative.

I honestly would rather go to this shop than a corporate Apple Store because I know I won’t be pressured to buy a new product instead of getting a repair.

I've consistently enjoyed purchasing and consulting Members of the RiverdaleMac Team for 20 years PRN. Me an' Mac got clipped walking by a driver on a phone that bailed quickly; my beloved MacBook Pro 500GB SSD hit as hard as I did dispite it's pack. It was rendered 'blind' instead of me thankfully. Kieran, Jennifer and Mark got a custom build replacement ordered for me. Jennifer graciously kept in touch by email of progress, delivery and data transfer strategies.
Data transfer by Nora, Mark and? At BeachMac was done in Millenium Falcon-like speed 'Kid' in 20hrs and perfect right outta the box working! Thank you all. Especially Jennifer for remarkable Client care, communication, updating and advice.

You find out how good a business is when things don’t exactly go right. I had some problems with my new iPad that were unrelated to Riverdale, and these guys went above and beyond to help me get everything sorted out. They were kind and professional every step of the way. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Five star all the way. You guys are the best.)

This is now my chosen Apple store. I went the first time in the spring, for convenience, as I was just walking by. They’ve helped me out 3 times since with different equipment, different issues. Great service. They delivered on their promises in a timely manner, in a personable and effective way.

I have utilized Roncesvalles Apple Specialist for 2 tasks during the current restricted COVID-19 lockdown. 1) to replace a HDD drive in a 2015 iMac with a newly purchased Samsung 870 Evo 1 TB SSD drive and 2) to replace a back camera on an iPhone 7. Despite the necessary COVID-19 restriction, I was able to get the iMac back within a day and the iPhone as soon as the ordered original Apple camera part came in - within 3 working days. The service was great where all my queries were answered and the costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend this certified Apple repair facility.

Amazing service repair, my MacBook display stopped working, they literally repair it in 24h when it was supposed to be 7 businesses days.
I will definitely use their services if anything happen again.

I had one of the worst professional days of my career this week when a Mac update caused my computer to crash and rendered my hard drive useless. No one could fix it. Until. RoncyMac came along. Not only did they retrieve my files, they fixed a computer that I was told was garbage. They were fast, courteous, friendly and put me at ease. I can't say enough. A customer for life.

Great experience! Phoned them on Saturday with a MacBook issue. Had a quote within two hours. Dropped the MacBook that same afternoon and had it back by Wednesday! It was all done seamlessly with simple curbside pickup. Very impressed!

All my experiences with this store have been excellent. They are professional, extremely helpful and knowledgable. I highly recommend using this facility for your Apple needs I'm very happy they are in my neighbourhood but I would travel if I had to. I cannot say enough about this store.

I had called in the morning and received informed advice on a solution for my very slow 2011 MacBook, dropped it off at noon and it was ready for pick up before 6 pm! Looking forward to my new hard drive!

Apple certified repair shop. Very friendly service. Diagnosed my faulty hybrid hard drive and replaced it with a SSD as I requested without any issues. Excellent communication and standard rates. They can do things that the Apple Store can't do. Highly recommend this shop!

Highly recommend! During the pandemic I brought my 9 year old Mac in because it was running slow and I didn't know if it needed to be replaced. Roncy Mac followed strict covid protocols, ran a diagnostic and then replaced my hard drive within days. Very reasonable price, I didn't have to replace my computer and it now runs like a dream. Couldn't be happier with the service I received!

The no return policy is no problem when you have such knowledgeable and helpful staff.they won't send you home with the wrong thing! Thanks for the lightning / USB adapter. Now my iPad DJ apps rock together with this new Zoom U-44 audio interface!

There was a recall on my Mac Pro and decided to bring it here instead of an actual Mac store because I was able to get a same day appointment. My laptop is primarily used for work and I would need it back in a hurry. Went in before my appointment just to drop off my Mac as I knew it would have to be there for a day or two, explained that it is used for work, asked how long it would take and was told I had to check in my laptop for the part to be ordered. Checked in, told part would be there Monday, I had to remind staff that Monday was a holiday to which they said “oh then part will be delivered Tuesday”, ok fine. 1 business day without my laptop would be okay. At no point was I told I could get a loner, I was just told to sign a paper and we’ll call you when it’s ready (paper was a “if your info is lost they are not at fault) which is fair. This was Friday. On Saturday I called back, spoke to someone who was very knowledgeable I explained that I might want some diagnostics run as well as a back up. He said he would get the back up started and they would add an external hard drive to my bill. Great, I didn’t have to go back in. There was also a cost for this diagnostics $100, hard drive ($), run then back up ($).
Tuesday called back, is the part in- NO we had to run a diagnostics to figure out what was wrong with your computer. WHAT! It is an Apple recall. Then explained the story from Saturday over and that part was supposed to be ordered Friday! Part was only ordered on Tuesday. Explained again that I use it for work and I had taken a vacation day help cushion not having a laptop. Wednesday - no part in, now in a panic because I need a laptop, told to come in and grab a loaner. WHAT? ! YOU GIVE LOANERS! This would’ve stopped me from harassing them, had they mentioned this. For the headache I didn’t have to pay for the 24hr loner and did get my laptop back on Thursday. Moral of the story, lots of miscommunication, however they took the time to explain and correct the issue with little to no charge.
I won’t lie I will go back again only because it’s quite convenient for me, but I know the next time to question, question, question.

Had a small but potentially very expensive issue with my headphone jack. They took it in on the spot, fixed the issue free of charge! Thanks guys will be coming back for all my Mac needs.

Quick service and very good communication during the wait time. Being able to bring something in for repair without an appointment is a huge plus. All the staff that I have talked to at this store have been very knowledgeable

We’ve been customers for the last 6 years or so, and our experience with the team @ both the old Bloor St and now the Roncesvalles location has been consistently outstanding. The service has been awesome and we’ve never felt pressured to buy the newest, most expensive gear. Andrew & the rest of the team have helped us keep our laptops and old iMac running smoothly. Highly recommend.
