Ronin has a great facilities, amazing coaches with exceptional training programs for all levels.
My son trains with Kanitha, Mark, Matty, Peter and Joshua over a year. I can see a drastic improvement in his volleyball skills.

She was an exceptional coach that taught with patience and is extremely nice. My setting skills improved significantly, and she provided thorough and insightful feedback. The drills that we ran were very helpful. Ronin really helped me to achieve my goals!

Literally the best place to learn or improve your volleyball skills. I was a complete beginner before I tried their class last October. Now I play intermediate leagues comfortably. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and excellent at teaching players at all skill levels. Shout out to Matty for constantly noticing my bad habits and always trying to improve my technique.

Ronin Volleyball is the place to go if you're looking to enhance your volleyball skills and compete. Their coaching staff consists of collegiate players who have competed at a very high level.

I've been attending Courtney's setting sessions and have notice a huge difference in my skills and confidence. She is a very kind and passionate coach who cares deeply about the progression and development of her students. She provides personal feedback every session and breaks down complex plays so that they are very easy to learn.

Great facility, amazing coaches and the classes are run very efficiently. Even with a full class, Mark pays close attention to the individual needs of all athletes. He is a very technical coach which is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to the repetition under supervision, I am able to see a drastic improvement in my gameplay. Highly recommend!

As a newcomer to the sport, I cannot recommend the coaches at Ronin enough! They are patient and attentive to each of their athletes and give a variety of cues to help all experience levels. You will improve dramatically from the start to end of each class. I've had the pleasure of working with all of the coaches (Mark, Matty, and Kanitha), and they are all very skilled and know exactly what each athlete needs to work on. Bonus if you can snag a class with few athletes signed up - more personal coaching and more play time!

My son has only played at this facility for a few months and I already see a huge improvement in his overall volleyball skills. The staff are friendly and charismatic.

Best volleyball training classes in town. Period. The coaches are knowledgeable, experienced and they know exactly how to help you improve, no matter your level. The length of classes is perfect and the drills fun and effective. I started with nothing but my passion for volleyball. Mark, Kanitha, Courtney and other coaches not only taught me the skills but helped me develop a strong and strategic mind for the games. I now play in many leagues and captain three competitive teams. But I still love to come to classes at Ronin. There is always something to learn every time. Also, I really appreciate the fact that Ronin finds every opportunity to allow us to train during this very difficult time for anyone who wants to stay active. Much appreciated! To all volleyball lovers out there, I recommend Ronin with all my heart.

I think this facility is great. It is quite far but worth the drive (coming from downtown, have done 12 lessons). They offer a lot of good deals and make training affordable. The quality of coaching is good - their best classes are when we get to do a lot of repetitions. I would have given five stars except for one minor concern. When I did buy my 8 class pack, the classes were originally one hour and fifteen minutes. This was shortened without notice to one hour. The justification for doing this was reasonable (warm up beforehand, less fatigue and better able to focus in a shorter time) but I personally still preferred training essentially for 2.5 hours over just 2 hours as it does affect my perception of the price of classes quite a bit. As an active competing athlete in other sports, training for a longer time is not an issue for me as I normally train for 2-3 hours in other sports 3-4 times a week. In the end, I do plan on continuing to take more classes but it does make it harder to justify driving almost an hour each way to train only for 2 hours vs 2.5 hours.

One of my children bought the 8 pass volleyball classes and at first we thought the classes were great because of one of the coaches. She was a young coach who was enthusiastic and patient with my daughter who was a beginner at the sport. She never got mad at her, and taught her really well.

And so we bought the 8 classes. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, but she was wonderful. Turns out she was just a substitute coach.

Within the next two classes, one of the coaches yelled at the players (including my daughter) for no apparent reason other than not knowing how to play. I found it ironic and was quite baffled by his behaviour. Imagine sending your child to learn at a club, but then just end up getting yelled at for no reason. This coach then spent a good 10 minutes scolding them instead of actually teaching, then went to play on his mobile device for the rest of the class.

I am disappointed, and insulted by this experience. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and find a better volleyball club to send your children to.

I've been going to Ronin for 5 months now, and I absolutely love it! The coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful, and will always emphasize proper technique over everything. The regulars who go there are also very friendly and inclusive - there is a big community feel, where everyone wants to help everyone else get better. There is a good variety of classes to take once you've got the basics down, and the drop-in games are always fun and competitive. This is the place to go if you want to get quality coaching while making friends at the same time!

Ronin Volleyball helped me develop a winning mindset. Their classes really sharpen up your game, and the constant advice and criticism given by the coaches really make a difference. They have a tier system that lets you play with people of the same skil level, and it encourages you to do better each time you show up. The Ronin Rumble (A drop in-esque system) is one of the best volleyball experiences I've had in my volleyball career. Keep up the good work Kanitha!
