Rooted Plant-Based Eating Cafe & Market

I visited this lovely place last week for the first time. It's a really great place. Super friendly owner, and very helpful. I love that everything is vegan and gluten free. I am very sad to hear that they are closing at the end of the week. It would've been my new favourite place! The frozen coffee is to die for!

Food was delicious, staff was amazing and super accommodating. Loved it, wish I lived closer so I could eat there all the time.

Vegetarian and gluten free food at its finest. Been to Rooted many times, each experience has been great. Tasty food, friendly owner and staff. A real home-grown, and caring atmosphere. Very sad to hear the business is for sale. I hope the new owner takes as much pride.

We just picked up lunch at Rooted and it was a fantastic experience! Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming with great food at a good price. We recommend the Poutine, Taco Salad and the best Guac and chips. The gluten free kitchen is an added bonus!

I was so impressed, I know and I love vegetarian food. Been a veg person for over 30 years and this place was certainly one of the best. Great selection really nice people. Haiden looked after the table and Kurtis was in the kitchen. 4 of us ate at a reasonable cost. A good-food place to support in Midland.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a completely plant-based breakfast spot while visiting Midland! The owners, Frank and Jenn, were very welcoming and personable! The French toast was delicious, but the "eggs" Benedict hit home for me! The flavour of the hollandaise sauce was on point! There is also a plant-based marketplace and bakery in-house. Can't wait to visit again and try their many other items! This place is a vegan's dream!

I went to this great little spot for a lunch, I was served by the owner who proceeded to help make the special of the day. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I will be back for more, thank you.

I really can not get enough of this delicious fresh spinach ceaser salad made with gluten free croutons and a chickpea ceaser dressing. The strawberry cake is all made with fresh organic ingredients and is absolutly delicious. If you haven't tried eating at Rooted I definitely recommend you give it a go. Definitely will not be disappointed?

I had the pleasure of sitting down at the brand new rooted cafe in midland and got the chance to meet the owners. They are a lovely husband and wife that are so down to earth, kind, and accommodating. Although they aren't officially open until tomorrow, they invited me in with open arms to do some work on my laptop and made me a delicious cappuccino. Great customer service and I highly recommend them!

Would have given 3.5. Flavors were good, but fries under done. Owners asked my opinion, so I obliged-I believe they will adjust accordingly. Looking forward to my next visit.

I was very dissappointed with my first visit to this establishment. I entered the building and the place was crowded like 20 people crowded and noone was wearing a mask. Noone. Only the one lady who checked me out was. On top of that all these people were eating inside, when that was definately NOT allowed at the time. I just can't support a business that has no regard for rules and the health a safety of thier customers. I would have given 0 stars but they were very nice and helpful while i was there and that deserves acknowledgment. EDIT: Just to clarify, I wasn't referring to the children who were there, just the adults. But for future reference, the actual rule is that only children under 2 years dont require a mask. Not 12.
