The location is very nice, my neighbours are lovely, the condo units are beautiful but all the rules can be a bit too much sometimes and the property manager for the development is difficult to deal with and can be vindictive. Caveat Emptor.

People are warm, welcoming and we have enjoyed interaction with neighbors.but.quality of house construction leaves a lot to be desired.and we have lots of people who support that view. Trying to get things fixed is a major task. 2021 comments.after 3 years of waiting for landscaping, we are STILL waiting. Trees planted several years ago have died and are needing replacement.now at the cost to Rosedale residents! Snow removal is a major problem.there is no place to put snow and residents may pay to have snow trucked out. Your taxes are supposed to cover snow removal.but not in Rosedale!

Lived here for three years we love it. Golf course will open soon and we golf everyday day. Pool is not open for obvious reasons but when it does we swim every day.

This review is past due but I feel it is relevant. My husband and I visited approximately 18 months to 2 yrs ago to inquire about their new development. The reception we received from the female sales agent on duty was dismissive, condescending and rude. It was obvious that she did not want to want to provide us with any information. She kept on focusing on the price of the upcoming development which she quoted as being higher than they were going for and we knew this. As a person of colour, this is code for you can't afford to live here. I write this now as I was recently advised by a friend who is a person of colour that they had the same experience with the sales agent. I can only hope that the company invest in, customer service, diversity and unconscious bias training for their staff.

Sales agent Janet Sinclair is probably the most disrespectful, unprofessional real estate personnel I have ever dealt with. Terrible attitude and makes you feel horrible. Suggest asking for another sales agent to deal with.

Janet Sinclair was so understanding and professional in my dealings with her. One of the best agents I've had the pleasure of interacting with.

If you are looking to buy in the village, look her up. You won't be disappointed.

A lot of great things about Rosedale Village but the guys who plant the shrubs is not. Poor quality poorly handled poorly planted. I know I've been in the horticulture business for 25 years.

Just bought in Rosedale, and we are so excited to move in. Thanks to Susan Gray for all her assistance in our selection. Can't wait.
We'll the wait is over, moved in Dec 12th 2018. The best thing we have ever done, clean, quiet location. We bought the Legend (Townhouse) and love it. Great golf course and the people are so friendly. You won't be disappointed.see you around the Village.

Be careful when you're buying property at this community. The homes are cookie cutter houses that are poorly built, they knock them out quickly and collect a cheque and move on. If you don't dish out more money for upgrades, they put the cheapest things in your home. If you do purchase a home, make sure to get your own inspector because the City inspector might just not do his job properly. The parking is horrendous, they have 3/4 visitor parking spots at the entrance for a maximum of 3 hours!? Ridiculous. If you park in front of your home, you will get a ticket or towed. If you have more than two vehicles, you would have to get a home with at least two garage because the spots are shamelessly small. They have security but if someone wanted to walk right in, they would be able too. There is no privacy in your own property, there is so many rules it feels more like you're being controlled. Ex; you're blinds have to be white. Maintenance for example, during the winter they will only do your driveway and they will do a bad job at it too. You're better off doing it yourself. I could go on, just beware. There is staff that isn't too helpful or friendly either.

I don't live there.
I was there for a few visits. Lovely community. Too pricey for me.
Unless there was a one bedroom apartment to rent, as I'm a Senior.
No renting as far as I know.
New beautiful homes being built now.
The people I know, love it there. Its quiet they say.
They are very Happy with their new place. Right now still construction happening so expect mud & dust. It's shaping up nicely.

Great place to live lots of activities for everyone, I do not believe it is racist community. Over the years we have had thefts from the club house so if staff is requesting ID, I don't see that as an issue.

I have lived here for 2 years and had many bad experiences. There is a huge lack of diversity here which would be okay but I am treated differently because I am not white. Neighbors, staff, and other residents are unfriendly to me and stare at me, do not say hello back, and even make hateful comments to me and my family. Everyone else is very kind to each other and seems to get along. Almost every time I try to enjoy the clubhouse, such as the pool or the gym, I am asked by a staff member to show them my card proving I am a resident there. There are a handful of people that are kind but most of them act disgusted that I live here.

Community is great but the builder is the worst new home builder in our experience. This is our 4th new home and serious deficiencies were ignored repeatedly and we had to fight tooth and nail to get them fixed. The exterior staircase from our back porch had to be rebuilt 5 times before it was safe to use. We are still waiting for the extra coats of paint we paid $2,000 for but will never see. At this point we are resigned to the fact that we never should have paid the extra for the paint. In terms of an investment the equity has risen substantially so we are really glad we purchased but wish the builder had shown more pride in workmanship.
