Rose's Fine Yarns

My favorite and only place I buy my yarn. Biggest selection hands down. And the owner is always helpful with choosing colors.

To be quite honest, I am not interested in yarn, nor do I have any connection to it other than the wool shirts I’ll ever where.

I am a developer and technical person.

I answered an ad posted by the owner of this store on kijiji. He was looking for someone to “remove negative reviews”.

I spoke with him on a call. Then had to go crunch numbers and then called him back.

Would you believe, he was even rude to me? He apparently was busy and had customers and he actually got angry at me for calling him in this time.

There to help him, and he bites the hand that feeds him. Jack MacGregor is one real low life business owner. He ain’t even a corporate big wig — he sells yarn to women. But he feels like he can yell and scream or belittle anyone in his path.

I can’t believe there are employees that need a job so bad that they will go work at Roses Fine Yarns full time.

And by the looks of the newest Reviews in the past few days, clearly he hire an Indian developer to add positive review…. Just look at the names of the posters:)

Jack…. Stop treating the world like it is your own personal toilet. You are a disgusting human being.

This very review will be watched. If I need to repost it over time, or if it become invisible on your reviews, better believe I will repost it.

DONT SHOP AT THIS STORE

The store is fabulous for high quality yarns and knitting supplies. It’s not cheap to buy but the finished product is worth the price.

I began to knit because of this store. Hard to believe that such a great place could be so close to where I live! The selection is incredible, so many beautiful skeins to choose from. While it may seem disorganized inside the store, it's actually organized quite well.

Whatever it is you're looking for, the owner is ready to help. When I compare the selection and prices to what you can find at the big box stores, there is no reason to go anywhere else. Their selection is amazing, and the prices are reasonable for the quality they offer

Lovely place! Man at the counter was extremely helpful when I was searching through the different types of yarn. Also helped me pick out the correct size crochet hook! My card declined twice (my banks fault) but he was extremely nice while I dug through my wallet. Though I was a few dollars short, I promised I'd run home and bring the needed cash right away, and I did! Great selection of yarn and needles, very friendly staff. Will be visiting again!

If I could give zero stars it would be to many. Horribly rude and just nasty man working there. No regard for customers. I thinks it’s his time to retire.

My first time visiting this store yesterday and will not be the last. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a variety of yarn. The gentleman that was there was extremely helpful. Books, needles and yarn no need to go anywhere else.

Owner very knowledgeable in respect to yarns. I love the place. A lot of interesting little nooks to explore.

Customer service and satisfaction are not a priority here. Attempted to return or exchange some wool and was informed that the government does not allow returns due to COVID. When I questioned this response I was dismissed in a very disrespectful manner. Incidentally their return policy is not publicly posted however signs instructing you not to touch the yarn blanket the store. It’s unfortunate that zero stars are not an option.

Great yarn store:) I always come here to get my yarn and I did a beginning crochet class here 3 years ago before the pandemic. I am looking forward to taking more classes here after the pandemic is done. I always bring my son in with me and the store owner is always so nice to us.

Anything you need regarding knitting, sawing, you can find at this place.fresh flowers too, and much more other stuff.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother went there looking for a knitting pattern and when she said she had been to Michaels she was told "Thanks for supporting the Chinese" by the proprietor.

Then the proprietor would not even sell her the pattern he had out.

Great way to treat customers who go out of their way to come to your store.

Great selection, great prices. Very helpful and friendly owner. Most definitely worth a visit.or two.or three.:)

Very helpful and asked a lot of questions so i get the right yarn amazing with so much care for me to get the right product and time to talk with me about the yarns.most stores just want to sell yarn and get you out of the store but at ROSES FINE YARNS the owner wants to make sure you get the RIGHT yarns for your project Thank you for your help

This is a yarn/wool wonderland, the Owner is so amazing and even though we showed up 15 minutes before closing, he said there was no rush and to take our time. There was EVERYTHING you could ever want! I will be making the trip back for sure!
