Rosewood Asian Cuisine

Food here is tasty and quality is much better than most other nearby Dim Sum joints. They have a variety of desserts, savory dim sum, as well as an AYCE offering. I remember eating a fried noodle here years ago that brought me to heaven. The mango pudding, squid tentacles, and shrimp dumpling/har gao are standouts.

Not really customer friendly. Actually felt gouged. Charging for take out box. Can't believe it. Ordered extra to take some home. Not ever going back to this place.

One of our go to places for dim sum. No carts here, your order from a menu. Food comes nice and hot and usually very quickly. Food quality is pretty good, they do also have big dishes like Cantonese noodles and fried rice. You do also get a discount if you pay cash.

I think the rating for this place is unnecessarily low. Both the food and service were great!

Basically what Pat H said. It's a great Dim Sum place. I also don't understand what the expectations have to be for this place to be at a 3.9.they deserve to be 4.2 ish.

Use to be our monthly ritual to go here. Now the service is ok. But the lady at the till adds the tips for you. Be careful. Check your bill first

I don’t deny that dimsum is very good, with decent size. I don’t like some of them like fried fish, but overall, it’s pretty tasty.
However, THE SERVICE was extremely TERRIBLE.
Three of us came there for all you can eat on Saturday morning. There were a ‘so-called’ manager- Joy and another young male server at that time. She always had a frown face towards us since we stepped in the restaurant. It was All you can eat, we could order whatever you want in the menu, right? She was so mad at us because we ordered too many dishes.
Threw an angry face at us, spoke something in Chinese which we didn’t understand right when she turned her back at our table, then sent the young male to speak to us. - no manners.
She was a manager, if she saw we ordered too much, why she didn’t tell us to break it smaller instead of throwing attitude towards us. She took the menu away without saying anything, STILL ANGRY face - no customer service.
When she came to empty the trays, she opened every single tray to check if we threw leftovers in there. She sent the waiter to speak to us ‘you guys can’t leave the food there, even a little, you have to eat them all’. - in appropriate manner. Tell me if ever you go to all you can eat sushi and never leave a little food on your plate.
Joy never gave us a pleasant experience the entire time we were there. Felt like being discriminated because she was talking and smiling to other Chinese customers.
I spoke to her at the end, we came here to pay for food and service, we didn’t beg you for food. Your behaviours were unacceptable. Straight! I won’t tolerate that Karen’s service when I pay for it.

Celebrated the new year as well as things opening up again at Rosewood.
We got a huge spread from the menu, and I enjoyed everything. Only weak dishes were the chicken feet and the taro dumplings. Otherwise, the food was great and service was pretty good.

2023-09-13 edit: They do all you can eat dim sum!

Straight Fraud. Ordered Uber eats 6 items 4 arrived they robbed me of 14$ after Uber eats refund. Never order from this place anymore. It’s a sham. No responsibility no customer service. And it’s my 11th order.

My only regret with Rosewood is how many times I've simply walked past this place over the years.

Dim sum here is absolutely incredible! The quality of food, portions, and flavour are all excellent! The main standouts from what we tried being the beef ho fun (super smokey flavor), sticky rice (good amount of meat and tea flavor seeped to there center with the meats) and the fries squid tentacles (different from anywhere else, they have an slight curry flavor and sweetness to them).

You can order a la carte but they also offer ayce at a very reasonable price - but be sure to finish all your food for ayce or you will have to pay extra, but luckily some dishes are a little smaller - good idea to check with your server.

Dim sum is served all day and open late. Definitely the best dim sum I've had downtown and my new favourite/go to! Highly recommend!

We chose this place to have dinner with my family last night after we saw that Rol San was closed. The place seemed to have good reviews and looked decent. Upon arriving we got the first red flag, the place was completely empty and only two tables had customers, we requested if we could dine in the round table but were told that is only for parties of 6+, although there was a table with 5 customers in it…
We went on and ignored this. We ordered food and we were soon very disappointed with the quality and taste of it. We ordered bok choy as one of the dishes and they were full of dirt. On top of that the staff was extremely rude through dinner.
Today we woke up not feeling well at all, we clearly got food poison from their low quality food.

The staff were very rude with an ill attitude. Would never recommend this to anyone. One of the worst experiences.

I went into Rosewood Asian Cuisine today in need of late night dim sum fix for 9 people. Atmosphere of this place is very welcoming and the staff were amazing. We ordered just shy of $300 of food to go. Unfortunately when we got back to the house in Mississauga we notice one of the items we ordered was missing. Immediately called the restaurant back and too let them know and they took action right away. Made the order and delivered it all the way in Mississauaga for me. THATS AMAZING! Being a first time customer and they did that is over the top customer service! Now let's get to the food, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I highly recommend this place for everyone to go check out. 10/10 in my books. Thank you to everyone at Rosewood!

Worst dim sum I ever had in my life. Rice noodle roll were so thick, sweet and sour soup had no sour taste, curry octopus smells fishy and had no curry taste, terrible cooking period.

Not mentioned a plate of pea sprout was $22.

Will never go back.

Really bad service & questionable food safety. Eat at your own risk. One of our orders tasted like it went bad, like it tasted and smelled not like the other shrimp dumplings we ordered. We explained and asked for just that one order to be taken off the bill. At the cash, the staff told us the dumplings didn’t go bad and took turns lifting our half eaten shrimp dumplings to their face to smell them. They insisted it hadn’t gone bad, and that tons of people had ordered it that day. I had to argue with her to get the $8 off our almost $70 bill voided. The whole time, she acted like she was doing us a favor and told us that we just don’t like coriander. We didn’t ask for the whole bill to be voided, just the one order that was suspicious. Anyways, the other orders tasted fine. But if this is how they’re going to treat customers when they raise concerns, then there’s no way I could recommend this place.
