This is the second time I ordered food from here. But this time I had to leave a review. Both times I ordered. Oxe tail with rice. Curry goat with rice and jerk chicken with rice. Lunch for work. The food quantity was amazing, the taste was awesome. Very flavourful. The coleslaw salad was very tasty. All good combinations. Just amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.

Couldn't have had a worse uber eats experience for dinner. The jerk chicken dinner had overcooked stale jerk chicken meat that was drenched in soya sauce and ketchup. This is a far cry from the same meal I ordered 6 months back. Either they don't care about customer retention or ownership has changed hands recently. If neither is true then this rock hard soya sauce dish was created in a ghost kitchen. I tried to take it up with Uber for a refund as it was just unacceptable for 30 bucks.

I read the reviews prior to coming in. I was hesitant because of them, but the curiosity got the best of me. I am a chef and I wanted to gauge it for myself. First things first I think the reviews I read were a bit unfair.

It’s definitely not authentic if that’s what you’re looking for, but the food is good. The jerk plate was not what I imagine when I think jerk but the chicken was still very good. I also got the curry chicken roti, and it was a bit dull for my liking, not the best, but not the worst I’ve had.

Overall if you’re hungry the food is good but if your expectation great Jamaican food there’s definitely better options.

Look past the location and give this place a shot! Great curry goat roti. Really tasty, perfect heat and big portion. Gentleman at the counter was super friendly and happily offered to run our order out to the car when it was ready. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Four stars had nothing to do with the food, but only because the parking area needed a cleanup - there was broken glass where I parked.

I ordered on Uber eats and the roti was extremely small and meat was burnt and the portion size is extremely small

Roti Vybez is always the best vibe! Service is friendly, quick, and accurate. We have ordered takeout from here a few times and have decided it’s our new go to spot for authentic Jamaican and West Indian takeout. Great flavour, perfect spice level, and the food is always presented with care. Mike, the chef cooks with pride!

Got jerk chicken and the macaroni. For some reason the macaroni is cooked with mustard which made me sick. And secondly the jerk chicken was kind of dry and more like bbq sauce then real deal

The coleslaw was salty beyond being edible. It was literally like taking a spoonful of salt. Why is coleslaw salty, like it's supposed to be creamy and rich. That wasn't the only thing that was salty unfortunately. The curry chicken roti was so salty, the jerk chicken was so salty. I can handle food that isn't too delicious and eat it so it isn't wasteful but this lack of quality is unacceptable since I had to throw it all away. It's annoying especially since times are hard and people work hard for their money to get take out once and a while and end up with meals like this. Definitely would recommend saving your money and getting roti/jerk somewhere else.

Overall, everything was salty and I would not recommend. Not worth the $$ trust me!

Got the jerk chicken & it tasted like I drank a jar of salt.
The chicken was a bit hard & dry & the roti didn't feel very fresh.
The pasta just tastes like mustard was put on it.
Sorry, but not a fan.

Super dry horrible roti, payed for extra gravy. Never received it. You pay for all wrap no meat. Order my roti place, more value for price and better taste!

I ordered a curry shrimp roti from this place via Ubereat last evening. Never in my in my entire life, have I purchased a meal that contained this much salt. I am not talking a bit salty, this tasted as if I was eating salt fish that was served without removing the salt. That’s how bad it was. Things are expensive out there, so I expect value for my money. I know I am not the only one who received that terribly salty curry shrimp roti yesterday. I tossed it in the garbage. And rightfully so. I attached a photo with the meal in the garage.

Mike in the kitchen is great, rotis are good when I can get a hold of them. Phone 8-10 times to place order, but they just don't answer. This has happened 4 times. Want to give them a better rating, but customer experience when I want a roti isn't there.

Amazing meal, had the Jerk Chicken Dinner which was on point, extra gravy on the rice and beans, coleslaw was delicious. Travelled well since ordered on UberEats, definitely ordering again and highly recommended!

I’ve been to this place twice based on the reviews here. First time we went, they literally ran out of everything. Second time, same situation with the exception of some chana roti and jerk chicken. The chana was not even cooked properly. There was no flavour. I am quite surprised at why their reviews are so high! The guy at the front is extremely lazy and seems like he doesn’t want to be working. Food is overpriced for what it is. You can find better quality food for cheaper in Mississauga.

EDIT: DO not go here. We now have a stomach bug after eating here. Probably from improperly cooked food. Will be contacting public health.

This was my first time coming here I showed up at 930pm they were short staffed so they were only doing Uber orders but I had a lot of questions and unfortunately the gentleman working didn’t really have time to answer them so he offered me free ox tail and rice as a sample and the portion was nice for free food thank you so much!

Nothing special.
I had the chicken curry roti for $15 and it was the tiniest ladle of curry and all dough. I wouldn’t have spent $5 for all that.
I don’t think it’ll last.

Hands down this is the best Caribbean restaurant in Mississauga. The flavours and quality are amazing - jerk chicken, roti, etc - they are all great. Excellent customer service and very friendly. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Decided to try based on reviews.
Placed online order for jerk + white rice + coleslaw
On going for pickup told dey r out of coleslaw, requested to give potato instead, were out of that too, finally macroni was given. Then told out of white rice.but waited 10 minutes n dey made white rice.
Need to be better managed, should have called after recieving online order if they r out of certain items.

Very disappointed. 2x I’ve ordered hoping first was a mistake. I ordered oxtail and rice and peas only bones came and barely any meat, they put carrots to make it look like lots who puts carrots in oxtail? To pay all this money and get bones it’s disgusting don’t buy from this place again.

Consistency is key. I order from your restaurant a lot the food is great but Every time I order it comes in a diff package sometimes half a plate sometimes a full plate, sometimes two legs sometimes 1 leg. You charge for a full plate but send half. Do better

Have tried the Chicken Roti and the Oxtail dinner. Both were fabulous and extremely tasty. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. I'll be back for more!

Had the goat dinner with rice and coleslaw. Goat was delicious. However, stay far away from the coleslaw or you will be praying in your bathroom. Coleslaw was not properly washed or old.

Our first time ordering from this place, was really looking forward to it after seeing such positive reviews, but when food arrived it was such a disappointment! Old hard rice, dry old jerk chicken no flavor. We wasted our money ordering from here, why would they give people old hard rice and chicken? We couldn't eat it. Never again.

I came here because of the reviews and I was not disappointed, the oxtail is to die for, absolutely loved it and the customer service as well is great. The guy came to give us our food in the car. Thank you!

Got the oxtail dinner and side of jerk chicken through skip. They forgot to pack my jerk chicken and it didn't get delivered. The oxtail was ok. Lots of rice, decent gravy sauce, not too spicy. Coleslaw was way too watery

I'm interested in trying the jerk chicken but will pay them a visit instead of delivery

The jerk chicken was not spicy enough and wayyyy to salty. I couldn't finish it because of the saltiness. Probably wouldn't order again.

The food and service was wonderful. Had the curry chicken, jerk pasta with the mac n cheese salad and plantains omg the plantains so good, the meat was nice and moist and full of flavorful spices. Portion sizes was on key, enough to fill and satisfy your hungry belly. Definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to come back again.

From the outside, I know a few people that would reconsider buying things from this establishment. But, that would be a huge mistake. Not only is this probably the best Jamaican restaurant I've eaten at. The chef is a really nice person, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of his creations. Also, to any of the meals I would add their BBQ wings. You're welcome! (You'll be thanking me).

Found out about this place maybe 2 months ago and I’ve lost track how many times I’ve been there already? I always get the oxtail and jerk combo and it’s ALWAYS PERFECT. Reasonable price for the amount of food you get. And I come all the way from Brampton (25 mins in traffic) to get this so that will tell you how much it’s worth it️

Ordered on Ubereats today, and thought I would go for some jerk chicken with rice and peas. Instead of coleslaw I saw a potato salad option, and went with that to change it up. Packaging and portion are great, and put together with love. The food and ingredients are fresh as you can tell from the taste. Did not taste like day old rice or chicken. I loved the potato salad it has that tangy relish taste that was not too over powering. The only thing I wish they did, and this goes for many jerk chicken places I've been to now. I don't taste any heat. I think it's to cater to people who don't like spicy, and it's understandable but when I think jerk chicken I'm expecting that scotch bonnet infused in it with the kick. It's not only this restaurant, just wish they would make a spicy batch and a non spicy one. There was a option to get hot sauce on the side but it just hits different when it's cooked with it. Otherwise the food was delicious, and I will return. I'll be trying the curry goat next time. Stay blessed.

I tried the Island Fry rice with jerk chicken and coleslaw and I really loved it. I highly recommend this place due to how good the food is and how amazing their portions are. I really loved the taste and will definitely try again.

We ordered jerk chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, plantain and roti for Fathers Day and everything was delicious! Even our boys loved it and they can be picky eaters. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Adam provided awesome customer service - super responsive and was so helpful in helping us determine the right menu choices for our day! Would definitely recommend:)

Hidden gem within Streetsville. Came with my 2 cousins and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Had to order my usual. Jerk Chicken with Rice and Pea's topped with some oxtail gravy. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Uber driver here. The front desk is great, they hand you your order at the front door before you even have to come in, there quick! The food is out of this world aswell.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. They're the closest thing to my mom's (Guyanese) home cooked food that I could find in a restaurant! It's spot on! They're always been great with special instructions and super kind.
I specifically go for their Goat Curry Dinner and the portions are incredibly generous. Fair warning it's got a good spicy kick to it!
I've also tried their Jerk Chicken and it's perfect. Not too spicy or too salty.
The Chicken Curry Dinner is also worth a shot. The chicken is so tender, as promised and it doesn't lack flavour at all.

One of the best Caribbean food place u will ever eat from trust me the food is so good especially the fried rice

Great staff, food was good but didn’t taste like jerk chicken and wasnt very spicy. The portions here are MASSIVE, but also very expensive.

Recently we bought the Island Fry rice with crispy chicken and we also added potato salad, coleslaw and it was amazing! Highly recommend trying this out and the portion was large enough to have left over too! Loved the taste and will definitely try again, cant wait to try out the other menus too. Great food!

I've been here once before and now I come every day. I just have to buy something that's how good it is.ive been told about these new burgers that's about to drop soon. Can't wait. 5 stars always

Decent food, but make sure if you are adding in special notes on the Uber app that you call them and make sure they read them. They never read Uber Eats notes. This is one of those places where if you order it 10 times, you will probably be happy 2-3 times. It seems ownership has changed and this new owner needs to get a hang of things before it becomes just another forgotten place in Streetsville.

You can’t go wrong with oxtail/ jerk chicken and festivals, but I just tried their Mac and cheese pie and it was great. With onion, a little spice of Caribbean flavour and of course melted cheese this place is not a miss

The best authentic Caribbean cuisine you will come across in Mississauga! Friendly spot located in Streetsville. Excellent customer service, and delicious food. I went to this spot back to back. Ordered the oxtail meal, and jerk chicken meal. Oxtail was so tender, and the gravy was full not oily like most places in the GTA. The jerk chicken is a must! Juicy chicken, not dry, pairs so well with their sides, such as macaroni salad and potato salad. The rice and peas are cooked to perfection. Well done to the staff at Roti Vybz! You guys bring the flavors from back home right to me!

I had the jerk chicken, Rice and peas plus coleslaw and I tell you, it was very delicious and worth every dime I paid. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is well made and had no issues. Come in and give them a try! You can also order on Ubereats (like I did again), skip the dishes and door dash, just search Roti vybz.

*** Update April 10th 2021***

With the Third lockdown / Stay at Home Order upon us. I have decided to revisit some places that I have reviewed before and not venture into other "Redzones" needlessly.

So picked up lunch for my wife at Queen Street Burgers & Taters, and I swung to the back of the building/mall to pick up from Roti Vybz.

It is a classic mom & pop local business. They are the backbone of the Canadian economy and they deserve our respect and support!

I am back here today to try the Large Curry Chicken with Rice and Peas.
And man was it every good. My goodness, the aroma coming from the perfect marriage of classic Jamaican curry with All spice with peppercorns was heavenly. Everything was on point, from the texture of the perfectly cooked pieces of chicken which was tender and juicy not dry. The carrots still had structure and not mushy which is the case with many curry dishes.

The service was friendly and exuberant. And you know what, that really means a lot because it just makes the food taste that much better and the raises the whole food experience to a whole new level of enjoyment.

Batter batter batter swings.and hits a HOMERUN into the seats in dead centre field!

FIVE STARS every day of the week and TWICE on Sundays!

I had to pick up some Dim Sum from Bliss Chinese Restaurant down the street. So I read about a beloved roti/Caribbean restaurant which has reopened in exactly the same spot.

It is a local mom & pop business. So this a single right off the bat in the first inning.

I am in the mood for some good jerk chicken with rice and peas. I lived in Barbados for a year 20 years back, and it has given me a longing for real good authentic Caribbean food now and then.

So off I went. It was a bit odd that the entrance is in the back. It took me a little while to figure it out until I saw the big sign at the side of the building.

The service was friendly and helpful. I chose the dinner Large portion of Jerk Chicken with rice and peas along with a potato salad. It came out to about $17.00 & change after taxes.

The aroma was making my mouth water, the smell of the jerk seasoning on the Bar-B I was racing home like a madman because I was so hungry.

The chicken was perfectly cooked and absolutely fresh. The meat was tender and packed with flavour. The sear of the BBQ took the flavours up a notch. They also provided extra jerk sauce on the side should you feel inclined to dip your chicken with more sauce. It is a nice touch.

This meal is a clear the bases Triple into the corner!
I will return later on to try the roti and other delicious goodies.

Went to check out roti vybz for the 1st time and i was not disappointed. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I ordered the lrg curry chicken and it IS the best curry chicken i have ever had. Very flavourfull with a good kick.i couldnt stop eating it! Portion size was more than i expected. I cant wait to go back and try the jerk chicken!

We’ve done takeout the last a weekends and the food has been amazing! We’ve tried the jerk chicken dinner, jerk chicken roti and the oxtail dinner. It’s all been super flavourful and delicious + everyone is super helpful and so nice when ordering. By far the best Jerk Chicken we’ve had and my husband tried a lot of different places!

Great food. Jerk chicken has a nice smoke flavour to it. Just the right way. Highly recommend trying the food.
