My Toyota has been serviced on quite a few occasions here as it is getting old and needs more tlc. Roy and his team are trusted to assess and repair what's needed. They were open on Dec 27 and able to fix my windshield washer pump within 3 hours of me dropping off the car. What a relief to have my car on the road again! I initially decided to try Roy Rump & Sons because they were located close to where I live. This meant I did not have to wait for my car, I could leave it and walk home. So I went for the convenience and will be staying for the professional service I received. I was supplied with a complete list - including photos - of the inspection of my vehicle and the recommendation of what needed to be done. The clear communication, transparency and workmanship all deserve an A+. I am looking forward to a long association with Roy Rump & Sons.

Returned to Roy Rump & Sons 5 months later and received the same exceptional service. They did a bumper to bumper analysis of the car, sent me the results and recommendations. The work was done almost immediately and I was able to pick it up the next morning. Darrell is the person who answers your call and assesses your needs and makes arrangements for your car. He is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Good to work with. More than satisfied with my second appointment!

They removed the tires from my rims for very cheap 7$ a tire. Most places I called are charging 15-25 a tire. Also great service.

I had starter trouble, had the car towed with CAA. On Friday and expected to not have it back until Monday got a phone call that afternoon that my car was ready totally appreciated for fast service. Thank you very much.

Happened awhile ago but blew a tire very close. They really took advantage of situation and sold tire for my Subaru double the normal price but I was in a rush to get back to work

Darrell shouldn't be working with people at all, guy is just rude and incompetent. Went with a different shop after talking to him.

With the shortage in parts across Canada, even my brother-in-law who is a mechanic (living in southern Ontario), could not find the required parts needed to fix our exhaust. Rump kept us posted as to who they had been contacting and estimated when the repair could be done. Yesterday Rump replaced the majority of our exhaust and had it ready to go in just over 2 hours. Their entire crew is friendly, professional, and takes care of their clients. 3 generations of a family business speaks for itself.

I’ve been going to Roy and his team for over 15 years now.

Many years ago, I was a young, newly-single mom. I was exhausted, and trying to balance full-time work and parenting, with no family in Ottawa.

Driving along the 417 one morning I heard an awful noise coming from my car. I had no idea what was going on. I pulled off at the Pinecrest exit and saw Roy’s shop. So I pulled in and tearfully asked for help.

Roy took one look at me, sat me down and said, “No problem. We’ll get this sorted for you. ” Turns out it was just a routine flat and his team had it fixed in under 15 minutes.

Roy handed me the keys and I asked how much I owed. He said, “Nothing. Just have a great day. ”

I’ve never forgotten that act of kindness. And I’ve never taken my car anywhere else for servicing since.

Roy and his team are professional, courteous and, most important to me, really good people.

Long time customer. I trust this place to troubleshoot and fix pretty much everything with our 11 year old vehicle. This time it was a battery and battery cable that needed to be replaced. Very pleased with service.

Honestly phenomenal service. Though I know almost nothing about cars they explained everything to me do that I understood what was wrong and why, what needed to be done and what was and wasnt a priority to fix.
