Exclusive to members only. I had an opportunity to visit since the company I work for is a member. It was classy and a real elegant ambience.

Loved the food and loved the art and history on display

We has a 3 course prix fix prime rib dinner and it was pretty good. Atmosphere was great. Place is clean. Drink selection was amazing. I was expecting a typical canadian legion style place but was surprised to find a beautiful club beloved and respected by its members. If someone invites you, accept, its a great place.

The artifacts on display are absolutely fascinating and meticulously curated. Makes you feel so proud of our CDN heritage.

The rcmi was really nice but we were never told that there was no house keeping the next day and we had to find our own parking for the car.

A second home to any military member or enthusiast. One of a kind ambiance in a modern building.

Back again and again. Why hit a commercial residence for overnight accommodation when you can support and enjoy this Historic club.

I gave 5 starts because my Grand Father, Donald Gairn Scott, Chief Fight lieutenant, Spitfire Squadron - Recon RAF Benson England, was a member, until he passed in March, 4th 2002.

Attended a wedding there last night. Everything was exceptional. The history throughout the facility was incredible, the food was amazing and the servers were exceptional.

A lovely place to stay! The staff are very accommodating, and the rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious. The bathtub was huge! Loved it! The food we ordered from the kitchen was excellent too. We would love to become members at some point in the future.

I was here for a conference, just a single day. Fascinating displays throughout the building and a lovely heritage institution.

Fabulous food, warm, cozy wood-panelled bar, super bartender. Great private dinner facilities and excellent, attentive staff. Amazing library, too.

Interesting historic building available for hosting events. Friendly staff, nice decor with military library, info and exhibits.

Excellent club to meet. Great, professional ambiance. You are surrounded by Canada's Military history.

Kind of like staying in a museum. I loved getting a little history lesson as we explored RCMI. Beautiful library and memorial displays, including the Red Baron's leather cockpit seat.

Just the other evening when I was visiting the Textile Museum Of Canada for their Grand Opening somebody had recommended ME to visit the Royal Canadian Military Institute.

I really knew Nothing About It, but I was curious and went over there after the event yesterday evening.

There was a foyer downstairs near the very front which had information in the windows about their history with many figurines of soldiers as well in which I did get to see during my brief visit the other day!

They also have a Private Club upstairs as well and the Royal Canadian Military Institute's Focus for the past 125 years is on the promotion and fostering of military art, science and literature in Canada.

Sadly, I was Not able to get a tour and I did email and fax their staff members to see if a tour can be arranged, but I am Not even sure if they give out Tours to the public.

In any case, I was at least able to see the foyer and I guess that is good enough for right now since they are Not Really A Public Museum.

I want to personally Thank the person from the Textile Museum Of Canada for recommending the Royal Canadian Military Institute to ME.
