Best walk in clinic in Toronto! Both front desk and doctor are so kind and helpful always. Wait times can be long but always had a great experience here

This clinic is doing a lot of things well! Friendly receptionist, reasonable wait time, nice waiting room AND, most importantly, Dr. Zaki has the best interpersonal skills I've experienced in a clinical setting. Super nice guy!

Context (ie this isn't a fake review) : I had a walk-in appointment to remove sutures

I visited the clinic as a walk-in patient just to fill in some prescriptions. Dr Kapoor saw me, he was very nice and professional. Same thing at the pharmacy.
Not having any insurance I paid $40 cash to see the doctor.
I came on Monday morning and the place was packed with people, so I came back on Tuesday morning and the clinic was almost empty. It took me a total of one hour to see the doctor and get my medicines at the pharmacy.
I will come back if I need to see a doctor again.

No one in this clinic can explain to the Filipino receptionist that she should smile at the patient's faces and be friendly. We come to this center because they have the most polite, human, and helpful Doctor to others. He is Dr. Zaki. We do not need to see her face. We hope that the clinic will activate the website service online.so that we do not have to see this face. It is enough for us that we are coming to this walk -in because we are patient.

My son woke up on a Saturday morning with what appeared to be strep throat. This office opened their doors 10 minutes early (9am open time on a Saturday). They usher my son into a waiting room and doctor is prompt with lovely bedside manner. In and out. Thankful to have this access.

Dr. Kapoor is a really nice and very knowledgeable doctor! Went to another walk-in clinic they told me nothing was wrong, went home and the problem got worse, the next day seen Dr. Kapoor who diagnosed the problem, and prescribed treatment and now I am better! This is the only walk-in clinic I will go to.

Went today for the first time. If this is the service we get then I want 10 stars! Lovely, efficient, and helpful. Not a bad wait time and really cheerful people and the pharmacy is also awesome! My new Doctor's office. Yeah!

I’ve only come here once, as a walk in. I was kindly received by the receptionist, as I couldn’t speak. She was very accommodating of me in offering to call to notify me of the opening and take me picking up as a sign I heard her, rather than vocal confirmation.

She had also expressed that the wait time would be significantly less than expected since many patients were missing their booked appointments. Therefore, I can’t really comment on the wait time! Mine was about 30-ish minutes, given the situation.

The doctor saw me shortly after I sat down and was also very accommodating of the lack of speaking. He didn’t only try to prescribe one kind of medicine, as when I explained the situation further he changed the original prescription to better suit my needs.

Extremely fast and efficient. Will update after I get my results back, should my opinion change!

Otherwise, will be returning here should I have any further medical concerns.

Waited 1.5-2 hours for the walk-in for them to tell me I had to come back the next day because the services weren’t offered there. I am floored at the utter lack of knowledge and regard for patrons.

I will immediately give Royal Care Medical Centre walk in clinic a whopping 5 stars without hesitation. I saw Dr. Zaki Nasser & he immediately knew what the issue was. Extremely kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He wasn't rushed or dismissive. And answered all of my questions. The staff at Royal Care are also very amazing individuals Extremely helpful, happy, energetic bunch and they bring to the work environment pride & a sense of integrity. It may be a bit of a wait, but the staff will tell you approximately how long you'll have to wait, but you have Kensington Market around the corner so you can easily go and take a stroll/ a walk around until you know roughly it's time for you to walk back for your appointment. And the workers at the Pharmacists are such delightful individuals.

Apparently not the only one who was prescribed antibiotics rather than getting properly diagnosed.
The staff and wait times are fine. But the care here was absolutely subpar.

I’m extremely disappointed about the care I received at this clinic. My throat was indicative of strep symptoms, so I was prescribed antibiotics on the spot. They did a swab test, but never followed up with me on my results. 9 days after my first visit, the symptoms returned and I went back to the clinic for a follow up. The doctor prescribed me harder antibiotics. I just found out from my family doctor the initial results were NEGATIVE for strep and I was incorrectly prescribed 14 days worth of antibiotics. The fact that the doctor did not consult the test they administered IN THEIR OWN OFFICE is mind boggling and worrisome. Now I may be less receptive to these meds if I actually need to take them. Be warned.

I didn’t have a family doctor for all of 2021 and so I visited this clinic for all of my needs. Honestly the best providers I’ve had - ever. Sure there are waiting times on certain days but if you call beforehand, the wonderful Katy will give you a time to come in as to not wait so long. Dr. Kapoor and Dr. Zaki are both patient orientated physicians, they are kind, attentive, and extremely accommodating. Just to give an example: I got into a car accident on a trip and lost my meds, Dr. Kapoor sent over a new prescription to the other side of the country. I really cannot recommend this clinic enough! Thank you Doctor Kapoor and Doctor Zaki for going the extra mile for all who walk through your doors!

Went on a Tuesday afternoon and only waited an hour which is honestly not bad for a walk-in clinic with one doctor. The doctor was lovely, kind and patient and made me feel so comfortable. Was very reassuring and thorough, would absolutely recommend going to this clinic.

Wonderful experience at Royal Care Walk-in clinic! The male doctor is who I ironically always get assigned to but he is amazing! So warm and kind! I always come here!

Best walk-in experience I've ever had. I was in and out, and the doctor and medical receptionist were so kind.

Perfect walk-in clinic with short wait time. I go there once a month while awaiting a family physician.

You don’t always get the same doctor and must ensure you advocate for yourself but, warm manners and friendly staff. A cute little discount at the pharmacy.

The lab nearby is an added bonus as far as locations.

I made an appointment yesterday - receptionist seemed incompetent and I had to repeat things to her multiple times. I was assured I would get a call from a doctor before 7pm - I even called back at 6pm to confirm this. I never received a call and did not get my appointment. By 7pm it was too late to book anywhere else and I had to wait until the next day, despite being very sick.

The wait is long because Dr. Zaki is very popular and everyone wants to go see him - I suggest book your appointment to avoid the wait!

They messed up my referral form 3 times, due to which my treatment with specialist got delayed by 3 months.

Horrible! Even if u book an appointment, they make u wait at least 20 minutes. They don't know how to schedule

Went in for a heart concern. Short breath, chest pains, pins/needles in my feet and arms whenever I sit or lay down aswell as slight numbness. Refused to take my blood pressure and decided it was a lung problem. I'm breathing perfectly fine, but feel like my heart is trying to escape my chest.

Needless to say im on my way somewhere else as I type this. I do not reccomend this clinic! They are just trying to motor people through

For anyone wondering about accessibility - the clinic itself is mostly accessible for those with mobility impairments and there is a single handicap spot right beside the clinic doors. The doors are not automatic and there is no button. The restrooms are NOT accessible as you need to go up 3 flights of stairs; there is an elevator but it only takes you to the other offices upstairs so if they are closed you cannot access the restroom.

Overall clinic was clean & the doctor/front desk staff were friendly. Moderate wait time for Saturday afternoon.

Dr. Zaki is a highly experienced and professional family doctor, and one of the few with excellent manners towards his patients. I’ve been to the other walk-in clinics nearby and I’ve had the best experience here so far. Happy to be their patient for as long as I’m in Toronto.

Dr. Zaki was very good. Went cause I needed a walk in clinic, left with a new family dr. Good option for downtown walkin, with knowledgable staff and short wait time.

Have tried many services offered but today went in for a full body massage with Allen! Mind blowing! He was amazing and so attentive! Amira at the reception is a darling too! Great place!

During my first visit, I didn't even interact with a doctor. Just a medical student. They should have done an exam, but instead just sent tests to the lab that came back negative, even though there was something wrong. I know my body, and there was an issue. I had to come back to get a prescription, and even though I got to talk to a Dr.that time, she only gave me the prescription because "It seems like you feel you need it. " She kept telling me that since the test results were fine, nothing to worry about. Uh, hello, you're the doctor! Not me. I wasn't happy, so I went to College Medical Care walk in down the street and had a much better experience. The Dr.there took the time to do a proper exam and explained that sometimes test results come back with false negatives in my case.

Super fast service and Dr. Kapoor was nice and respectful. Anticipated my needs very well. Thanks!

Dr Zaki is the best doctor I’ve had in my life and that’s coming from someone who lived in Mauritius, London, Paris and Toronto!
And his wife who runs the pharmacy in the building is also very kind! They both are lovely people!

Such slow service. The doctor left before his shift was done so from 1: 30 to 2: 00 there was no doctor? Garbage

If you want to wait an hour to finally sit in the room, yeah come here, this place is garbage, pharmacy is over priced, staff is rude

The service at this clinic is so bad. You must wait for a long time to go in and the physicians are bad as well. Once I had problem and I was pretty sure that my lipid or cholesterol levels was high as I used to feel dizzy as I ate cookies. I told the doctor and he told me just "OK, then don't eat cookies". Then I said isn't it better to take a blood test as I think something is wrong in my body. Then the physician was convinced that he must prescribe a blood test for me. So if you know what is your disease, then visit this place and tell the physicans what they should do. Otherwise go to somewhere else where the physicians are more professional.
