The lady taking the order was last interested. When we told her Chilli Momo Chicken - she asked if we wanted vegetarian.
We were charged CAD 6 to dine in, whereas this wasn't mentioned anywhere on their menu or counter.

My recent dining experience at the Royal Cumin Indian & Hakka Bistro was nothing short of amazing! My dad and I ate here the other day. And I was super glad we did!
Very small and low key, but will come again for sure. I had the Korma which is my fav dish and didn’t disappoint and my dad enjoyed the butter chicken.
Paired with naan and pakora as an appetizer, I left satisfied!
One thing I’d note is to maybe take the menu stickers off the window and add a little decor inside. You will draw more people in if the windows aren’t covered!

My husband and I recently visited this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find this to be a nice and cozy place. We were looking for hakka takeaway and some tea and snacks on a rainy evening. The service was extremely friendly aand warm. The host ' Suraj gave us good suggestions on what to order. The onion and kale pakoras suggested by him complemented the Chai perfectly. The veg Manchuria hakkaa noodle Combo also suggested by him was a great choice. Overall the foods was not too greasy and quite flavorful. Highly recommend this place for indo Chinese food along with great service/conversation provided by Suraj

Ordered food last minute for 15 people guests. This place was fantastic! They were very fast, well cooked and amazing prices. This is my new favourite Indian take out. A taste of home in Burlington <3 Also wanted to give a shoutout to Sam for his awesome customer service.

Great place to visit. Authentic and Tasty food, great ambiance, clean washrooms and excellent customer service. I ordered butter chicken, kadai panner and daal makhani.

This place is our go to for anything Indian. But it's often hit or miss. When they get it right, there is no other Indian place that comes close. I recommend trying their Chole Bhatura, paneer lababdar and lacha paratha.

Loved the food here and the overall atmosphere. Everything was fairly priced and even the sweets tasted good too. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking outside. Only issue I had is the wait time, they’ll tell you a time and it’ll end up being way longer. We were told it’d be ready in 30, took about 50. Overall, i’d definitely recommend giving them a try.

We ordered lunch here last week for the first time. It was delicious!
The butter chicken pasta dish was huge, had quite a kick (I'm not the best with spicy food) but I could still eat it. Lots of sauce and great taste. I also tried the crispy corn baskets. Had no idea what they would be like, but I love corn so, why not? They were also delicious and so different! Crunchy bottom layer with corn and maybe onions, possibly tamarind sauce and crunchy noodle like topping. I really have no idea but they were delish and I would absolutely get them again!
Try it if you like Indian/Hakka food. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing food. Extremely delicious. Very flavourful. Fresh. Large portions. One of the best Indian food I’ve had. Great customer service. I asked to make it not too spicy or salty. It was PERFECT! It was worth every penny and the 40 min wait. The only thing thing that it wasn’t perfect was the sweets. They were too sugary but I don’t think they make it there anyway.

We have continualy enjoyed a wide variety dishes on their menu. The friendly staff at this "hidden gem" are constantly working hard to deliver tasty Indian food. Highly recommended.

I’m not sure why this place got good reviews. I took a chance and was disappointed. The food was bland and not authentic. I’ve had better curries from the TV dinner section of the grocery store. Will not be trying this place again.:/

Order from here a couple times a year. Staff is so friendly and food is amazing. So many different dishes and unique flavour combos, we usually end up ordering way too much. But that's great for leftovers, lunches, and snacks for the rest of the week!

This is my go to spot for Indian food and I have become a regular customer. I am slowly making my way through the menu and thus far every dish I have tried tastes delicious. Staff is also very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a place for people to try and would even go as far as saying it is the best spot for Indian food in Halton.

Since this restaurant came in this area, I always come at this restaurant just because of their awesome delicious food. Their rate and quality of food is really good. As working across the street, our company place a catering order from this restaurant and every time they provide consistent taste. Highly recommend! Paneer lababdar is our favourite from their menu. Truly Indian authentic taste!

Rude to customers and kind of money extortion. Stay away from this place The store operator mocks customers and gives unsolicited advices - They charged 2 dollars even for the smallest can of Diet Coke without telling before hand. Even the costliest gas station will not charge that much. There was a young guy around the age of 30 with a beard and head dress when I went in. He was rude and funnily mocking customers. Food was ok but I will never return here as their attitude is bad. Mocking customers and calling them crazy, giving unsolicited advices to customers and calling them crazy in his low volume by that young guy, I never had such experience anywhere in Canada. I will never recommend this place. Why give our my money to a business with this attitude to customers

Kindly stop defaming indian food specially like kewra biryani. I know nobody can find authentic biryani in burlington bt this was the worst biryani ever had. Please take this feedback for your improvement either go change your recipe or chef.

I’ve been there two times, once before Pandemic (Dine-in) and one time was after pandemic (Take-out). If you see with the Value for money factor, this restaurant is not bad at all. I wish they could have more space inside so more people can dine in since there only 3-4 table available but I guess they have no other choices either. Shikanji my favorite item and I am sure everyone might like it. For the mains, I think they are good at some dishes while average or below the bar at some dishes. Defiantly it is hang out place for bachelors but it’s hard to imagine this place with full grown big family. Although it has quite more than enough parking spaces as always.

Worst food ever.
Soggy kababs. All the Chinese food tatse the same it taste like soya sauce and thats it. Worst experience. Will never order again.

I ordered for delivery and was missing one of the 4 items ordered. Once I started eating I was greeted with a rock in my noodles. Chicken was super dry. Manchuria was very sour. Never ordering again.

Loved the food and they were very accommodating on getting us our food quickly and honouring a coupon we had forgotten. We will be back!

We will come back again. It's a convenient location and the price was ok. The Naan bread was one of the best I've ever had.

If I could put 0 stars I would have! This place is terrible, I waited over 1 hour for my food just for it to be cold and taste horrible. The food smelt and tasted like it was spoiled and had been left out for days! I wouldn’t even feed my dog with this food

This place is 100% takeaway and kept very clean. The food is pretty excellent, with a mix of traditional Indian food and more "fusion" like dishes like the butter chicken poutine. Call ahead and place your order, and don't forget to get extra garlic naan!
