Honestly, always great service when I come to Royal distributing, my bike was overheating coming off hwy and Dale took his time with me and helped me out so much and went over and beyond.his manager was super amazing as well. All the staff were friendly and made sure I was okay. Thanks guys you rock! Definitely would send any of my loved ones or friends here for anything! Great service!

Excellent store for any power sport needs. Gear, parts, accessories. All sorts of stuff for all power sport needs. Very well pleased with my experience. The parts staff was very helpful. This store is the best I’ve been to yet, they have lots of great items. They also have a wonderful staff member named Gigi, she helped me order a great open face helmet and was so patient with me. She knew everything she was talking about and overall was a great help, I’ll be definitely coming back!

I visited Royal Distributing inc today, April 23rd, (Sunday) unaware that they were having a tent and store wide sale, so it was quite busy. I was in search of a replacement battery so I went to the parts counter where I was met by a gentleman by the name of Nick. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions and being able to find a match for my battery needs, and at a price I'm sure I would not find elsewhere. Checkout was also quick and efficient and the young man at the checkout was also very pleasant. The whole transaction took no more than 10 minutes. I will not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family to go to Royal Distributing inc for their parts and accessory needs. Thank-you again Nick for your help.

I have to say that I have refused to go into the Whitby store for a long time. When Royal first opened up in Whitby, the customer service and the management was great. For the last few years, I have been disappointed in the big change in attitude and service at this store. It was so bad that I was paying more to buy things elsewhere. I would not go back, it was so bad!
I actually went back in during the no tax event with the intention of trying on a helmet and then ordering it online. I was shocked and surprised at the service I received and actually returned the next day to purchase tires also. I had inquired about making some adjustments to the padding of my helmet and also if they were a to do a special order. Both customer service reps, both Brooke (helmet) and and Mike (parts) were amazing. They spent time looking things up for me and doing the special order, even though it was busy. They have renewed my willingness to shop here again. Thank you very much! I will be back!

I can honesty say that I just had the best shopping experience of my life, seriously. When I first entered the store I was greeted by a young lady who I now know goes by the name Kat, who asked if I needed some assistance. I explained that I had taken a screen shot on my phone of the helmet that I was interested in buying. She took me to that area and we reviewed several helmets based on fit and style. I found the prefect helmet at a fantastic price. Given the savings I asked if I could also check out the boots. Once again the sales lady showed me several pairs at a variety of prices. To my surprise I found a great pair and once again, at a great price. So why not ask about a pair of gloves? Well I think it is becoming very obvious I found the perfect pair of gloves at a price that truly exceeded my expectations. Yet I will save the best for last! What made this shopping experience truly exceptional is that Kat was extremely patient with me as I admit I am a bit of a fussy shopper. Ok I am cheap! Kat was not only very knowledgeable about the product lines but she also checked all the boxes with her input regarding the pros and cons of each product that I was looking for based on my needs. The level of service provided by Kat is very hard to find anywhere these days. Thank you Kat for providing me with this exceptional shopping experience!

Every time I go to Royal Distributing I am treated excellent. Was there to day to buy studs for my snowmobile and once again I know why I drive 25 km.to spend my money in this store. The staff in the parts dept.go the extra mile to help you out. Coming back again when I have more time to go all over this great store. Just one question? I showed up yesterday looking for heated jacket and gloves. Dealt with Paul at first who was patient and very helpful and actually brought the parts catalog out so we could check together. Michelle (who everyone says is a rockstar and totally was) took over as it was her forte. Well as all the reviewers point out she was amazing too making sure I had all the right parts and knew how they fit together. Left with a great heated jacket liner all the cables I needed and my gloves on order… graciously checked out by Caitlyn who was new at cash out and doing a great job entering #s manually all during a super busy tent sale store full of people. Honourable mention to Jen who was very nice and still smiling as her computer froze

Very large showroom with plenty of products to check out and choose from. There's literally two floors of great stuff! The upper floor is for motocross products. Staff is informative and pretty knowledgeable. I do wish they have more items with "red tags" which technically is clearance items, not for just stuff that's been returned kinda of thing. Overall, a great shopping experience.

Great location. I'm all for sales and they had a small variety.

Found my half helmet & balaclava and was able to try on the Icon Airform Chantilly Opal Purple Full-Face Helmet & the Icon Airflight Motorcycle Helmet.

They both look pretty nice if anyone is looking to get either.

I just have to share how impressed I am with the exceptional job Jennifer (Warranty Clerk) has done handling my unique situation. In my many years of experiences, I feel that her "above and Beyond" approach, and result, has most definitely raised the bar to the next level!

Michelle went out of her way to make sure that the snow pants I wanted were put aside for me!
She found that they were in stock however couldn’t find them in store and made absolutely sure they were there before I drove there (from Barrie). As it turns out the mannequin was wearing them! Thankfully she put them aside for me for the next morning

Parts staff at the whitby are very helpful.

Avoid the Guelph location at all costs
Parts guy while trying to help stripped the bolts while trying to change my helmet shield, and didn't bother to tell me.was verbally harassed by the lady manager who forced me to wear a mask even tho I showed them my medical exemption

I work in a customer service business. At the Whitby Royal Distributing location I received poor, arrogant customer service. Went to exchange some snowmobile pants within the 30 day exchange period. Was told they'd have to be ordered in and I had to pay for the new ones even though I just wanted to exchange them when they came in. I asked, "Can't you just order them in and I'll bring the first ones in for exchange when they get here? ". Answer "No, it's our policy" I agreed to return the original ones now and order the other size with the proceeds from the return. Then, was told I'd have to pay the new price which was $25 more. This was within the 30 days exchange period. I asked for the name of the manager that I had spoken to and was told "Maureen". I asked for her last name so as to avoid confusion. Was told "I don't need her last name as she's the only Maureen here" rather rudely. I asked for the name of the individual who was telling me this. Was told "You don't need my name". Really? Very basic guest service. I just want to know who I'm talking to for possible future reference. I stated that I would make the return on line and as I walked out I received a rather sarcastic "have a nice day! "

Then spoke to a Sebastian at Customer Service who was much more positive and accommodating. He partially made up for the negative experience at the retail location. Thanks Sebastian!

I suggest that you need some better trained and empowered folks at the Whitby location. When faced with a reasonable request, the "it's our policy" line is what poor customer service business do. "Whatever it reasonably takes" is what successful businesses do.

I went in looking for a helmet for ATV riding. This was the first time i am shopping for a helmet besides a basic bicycle helmet so i didn’t know what to look for.

I asked the counter for help and they had a representative attend to me right away.

The rep was very informative and very patient with me.

Only reason why i gave it 3 stars is that they have little to no stock for a-lot of the items i was looking for. All of the items that were on sale or marked at a lower price was all sold out or only have 2XL or larger in size.

They are not honoring mask exemptions and treat people without masks very rude and tell you to leave the store and take your business elsewhere. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on and suggest anyone else mask exempt to do the same. Not government mandatory there is mask exemptions including face shields you are discriminating against people witth medical condions.

Recently went to go pick up a part that I ordered online. When I arrived at the store, I realized that I had forgotten my phone at home, the order number, Etc. I waited outside for some time but no one came out, so I opened the front vestibule door and stuck my head in to see if I could get someone's attention. A young employee ran over to me to inform me that I couldn't even have my head inside of the door and that there were provincial restrictions in place (really? !). I said I understood but tried to ask if she could please send someone outside so that I could explain the situation. Also good to know that both of us were wearing masks and were approximately 12 to 15 feet apart. Apparently I had put her off so much that she refused to have an employee come out to speak to me and I was not able to get my part.

Royal Distributing, this situation could have been handled a lot better. I understand that certain people have different degrees of sensitivity, but this was absolutely over-the-top.

I'll be shopping at GP Bikes going forward.

I've been to each of the 4 store locations and the Whitby store is right on the way to a few of the places we ride so it's convenient to make a pit stop on the way! Great store and great staff! It's hard to drive by and not stop in. Even during everything that's going on with lock downs now they still look after you with curbside pickup and online ordering. Can't wait to get back in the stores and shop!

Ethan assisted myself and my son in finding jerseys, pants, boots, and helmets. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly! My wife and I recently got our motorcycle licenses. Knowing very little about riding gear we went shopping. We looked around at a few places without much luck. Then we entered Royal Distributing in Whitby that is where we met Michelle. She was great. Michelle was very informative and answered all our questions and we had a lot of them being very new to riding. Michelle took the time to explain the importance of the gear and how it should fit and feel. Michelle is also an experienced rider and was more than happy to answer our questions about riding. She took the time to help us find all our gear making us feel like we were her number 1 priority in the store. I will definitely return for all our future needs. Thank you Michelle you were amazing.

After a phone conversation with management we have worked out everything and waiting on delivery of the new battery. Thank you getting this resolved.

First of all your phone service is problematic as i have called on a battery warranty clam and have spoken with a person that gives me 2 options 1 bring it into you store and leave it for 24hr to test it this doesn't work for we as I'm 2 hours drive away. Option 2 is to be transferred to phone in order line that i get put on hold and told wait time is 4 minutes only to be disconnected after 20 minutes on hold

Update: After a few more discussions I was able to rectify the issue. Thanks Brock and Rob for your assistance in this matter. I intend on ordering online again knowing that Royal Distributing Inc stands behind their products.

Don’t order stuff online based on their fitment guide. Ordered ski runners and of course they don’t fit. So thought I’d double check before requesting service. Found another web site that show fitment to same machine but also has diagram with measurements. Guess what, it matches my needs. Call Royal to let them know that the product they are selling has the mounting bolt 1” greater than needed to fit. Response was, never had any other customers complaints so return it to them at my cost. Nice.

I would give this purchase experience a negative rating if I could. Total lack of common sense displayed over an online order placed for a $20 item being picked up by someone other than me. I purchased an item during the 30 percent back on a gift card sale. The Whitby store said they couldn't give me my card and said it would be emailed in a week or 2 and took my information. I never received it so I went back. They said they would re submit it to head office and to wait another week or 2. Still nothing. I called the 1800 number. The person I talked to said the person he needed to talk to was away and he would call me the next day and never did. I called today and the gentlemen told me a gift card for my order was never generated meaning the store did nothing. He had one made and sent out. Upon opening it it was for $11. It should be for $40. $11 is less than 10% of what I spent. The gift card should be for 30%. I was hoping to use it for black Friday cyber Monday no tax sale. I am very disappointed in royal distributing Customer service. Iv had amazing and questionable service in the past but nothing like this. This is un acceptable. I spend thousands of dollars there a year and will most likely be looking for another power sports store to shop at. Well see if they can solve it on attempt number 5.

This is the second time we have dealt with Angela and had amazing service. She fitted my two girls with FX winter jackets, pants, boots, gloves and balaclavas. She took her time to ensure that everything fit properly. Amazing service thank you very much Angela. This is what excellent costumer service looks like. Five Stars! The customer service I received with a recent problem concerning some snowmobile parts was outstanding. The team at the Whitby location goes the extra mile to take care of their customers and ensure complete satisfaction. I have been coming here for years and most of the time I have left disappointed with the customer service with the guys at the parts counter, but after the last time I am done. I called to order parts for my skidoo and the guy I spoke with was rude and also informed me that he cannot order parts for me on the phone I had to be in person or online. I offered to pay via visa but he said they weren’t allowed to. (I’ve always done it this way before). Never again will I give them my business.

Bought a jacket online and went to return it at the Whitby location because it was too small. Initially I wanted to exchange the item for a larger size but when I asked the female staff if there was any other sizes in stock she only said "I don't know" and left it at that. She didn't look it up for me or offer any further assistance so I decided to return the item. Once I asked to return the item she told me she may not be able to process the return because the item looked worn.the texture/colour of the product is meant to have that look. I only recently received the item and the receipt shows when I received it. How can I cause enough wear that fast? So she not only did not know her own product but accused me of returning a worn item on top of that. Anyways, she spoke to the manager who helped me out instead. Very disappointed in this staff's lack of customer service skills. I would not come back. I see why GP is more popular now. I'm going to stick with GP from now on.

Just purchased a battery for my v-star by mail-order and it broke at about 90 km from home on the first ride. Bike just stopped and had to get a tow back. One of the cells in the battery shorted. Had no luck with a local dealer but when I called the 800 number they honored the warranty and extremely quickly sent a replacement battery.

The store is great however I would never order online from here again. The order desk people are very unhelpful and rude. I entered my address online and they shipped the package without the house number, when I called they said it was my fault. (You can't place an order without the house number)
It was their shipping mistake but they don't refund shipping.
Save yourself some aggravation and order from Fort Nine, everything comes twice as fast.

Not sure what the guys name was but man oh man I had no idea what I needed to buy and I have my driving course next week. I figured I'd just wing it and buy what I thought I needed. Well, this guy that works there (young dude, blonde hockey hair sorta) helped me with everything. I was sure I was going to be a bother but he was chill and just took me to each item and helped me with everything. Anytime I had a question, he either gave an answer or he got advice from another guy. Pretty awesome customer service that you don't see at a lot of places.
