We stopped in to check out some of the dirt bike gear and to get some sizes. The associate (I believe Rae) was extremely helpful and patient, and more so was very knowledgeable in all products we inquired about. I had a warranty issue with some goggles that I purchased and was put in touch with Evan. He was able to take care of the issue for me and kept me in the loop of the whole process with phone calls right up until I picked up the new pair!
Great service at the parts counter. I work in KW and always thought the Guelph store was too far away. The reality is it's a quick trip when you're in East Kitchener. Dom has been particularly helpful in giving advice and supplying the parts I need for my Harleys and Japanese bikes. Keep up the good work.
I ordered gloves that never made it to me. I was told I have to contact Canadapost about it. I did and Canada post said the sender needs to contact them. Royaldistributing initiated a lost package ticket. Canada post refunded royal distributing and told me to contact them. I contact them and was told months ago I would get a refund.
Edit: I see other customers had the same issue and were given the same reason I was given that they migrated to a new ordering system. In the end I did get a refund, it just took almost a year. I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes when migrating to a new ordering system but hopefully this isn’t a common occurrence. I have continued purchasing from them and have not had issues.
It’s always too frustrating shopping through Royal. Their website is terrible, many times it just doesn’t work. Their parts counter has absolutely no knowledge whatsoever. Last time I asked for valve stems and they had no idea what that even was. Even after explaining it over and over again, I ended up going to two-wheel to get my motorcycle parts. So sad. They’re really more of a off-road sports store and just happen to sell some odds and ends for motorcycles. Their recent sale said everything was up to 50% off with no tax but did not specify which items were discounted at which price. Was I supposed to ask for each item? I go check out some sales when I hear about them but always get reminded why I don’t shop there anymore.
I called there and was on hold for 2 hrs and 10 mins. They have the poorest phone service. Talked to manager and she said in store customers have priority service over a phone customer. Not good business practice.
After an oil line breakage on a custom 1984 fxrs “””Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man Replica “ bike, decided to try royal in Guelph, My bike is obviously very old now, but let me tell you that “”DOM””” in parts is the “man”” while searching in catalogs determined to find the parts I needed, and still helping the younger employees with other customers, he made sure my parts were correct and placed the order for me…. This man is a definite asset to Royal in Guelph……. Highly recommended to everyone!
As a new rider I was going to Royal Distributing needing a lot of gear and didn't know exactly what I was looking for. Thankfully I found Lori. Lori was such a big help from finding great deals to the right protection gear for me. She was very patient when I was trying stuff on and was incredibly knowledgable about what was right for me.
