Dr. Catena, receptionists and vet techs are extremely caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. We have been going to them for the past five + years for all our pets and always have a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable vet.

The team from the front staff to vet technicians to veterinarians are amazing. I took my dog to Dr. Catena for her whole life. She loved coming to the veterinarian so much it was like going to the dog park. When I finally had to say goodbye, the care and kindness the team showed was so appreciated.

Dr Polson was FABULOUS but I'm not sure if he's returning. Dr. Rolston seems similar to him.caring, calm, explains things and doesn't order every test under the sun to run the costs up! We really appreciate that!

We joined Ford in Apr 2021 when we first got our boy dog. At beginning I loved this clinic, nurses and vet are very nice, cost for vaccines and exam are very reasonable and we heard all good things about Ford before as well. But two things made us leave this clinic. 2021 summer, our 8lb 1yr girl came to get booster vaccine, the vet said to me in a very serious tune, "How is your girl behave normally? She was very mean to everyone in clinic today. She needs to have the calm pill one day before and 1hr before her next vaccine appointment. " It's like teacher is telling you that your child behaved very badly in school. As a parent, the feeling of guilty and shame all came along and even worse, there were some real penalty, and I didn't want to give my girl calm pills. I am not a vet, but I know it's not good to take. And my girl is such a sweet girl, everyone loves her, she is brave but definitely not violent. So the next week when her 2nd boost vaccine appointment approached, the nurse called me 1hr before with a very firm tune, "she had the pills right? " I just mumbled a very weak "yes", and pray that my girl behave well during the appointment. So I thought hard, and my girl likes people to carry her. So I handed over my girl to the nurse by hands instead of just leash as last time. When the nurse handed me back my girl, said she was really calm and the pills worked really well, so next time she should always have the calm pills before the appointment. At that time, all I had worried was how I should tell them the truth. But just today, I learned that one of my neighbour with a very well trained Belgian shepherd, was asked to take calm pills for appointment as well, reason was she tried to stay away from bring checked. And the calm pills cost $60. (Calm pills for my girl was $10, I didn't give to her and didn't complain about it either, as I thought it's not much. Now I really think I was over charged, as she doesn't need it). It's a wake-up call. Did you ever hear that a dog has to always take calm pills just to meet a vet or nurse in clinic? Especially for a very good at call back dog and a toy breed well socialized dog? So I told my neighbour to get the calm pills refunded and change to a different clinic. It's a sign that either they don't like fur friends or they are not very good at handling fur friends.
I heard in the past, Ford is super good, vet cared about all fur friends and their parents so well, not just provide the best care, also go beyond to make many parents deeply appreciate. But that vet was on sickness leave.or maybe now not enough vet to handle the overwhelmed needs.

The staff here is great, been going to this location for over 10 years. Price for exams is what others charge. Bedside manner by the vets here is with the utmost respect and care for pets. The vets have seen all my pets from dogs to cats. Everyone is a pleasure to work with, great for pickup of food. Location is easily accessible. It is smack in between ups and Purolator convenient store.

Dr. Ralston is attentive, sharp and caring and best of all - she listens to your concerns! These are experienced Vets here! The ENTIRE staff (shout outs to Rey, Kathy and Kassidy in particular) works as one very capable unit to help with the care of your animal. Also, they are priced quite competitively and I love that they do direct billing with Trupanion! Thanks for taking great care of Sage everyone!

Dr. Chris Catena is the best Vet I have ever encountered and truly amazing from my first day to my last. He always provided the utmost care for my dog and referred me to a specialist when required. I felt valued as a client. Some may view them as pricy but you get what you pay for and they are worth every cent. The whole Royal Ford team is wonderful. Would recommend to everyone.

David took a great care of us and our cat, in a very courteous manner. He is genuinely interested in helping animals, is a gentleman, and has great authority that pets really feel. Our cat is always quite unhappy, to say the least, when strangers approach him, never mind touching him. To the point we needed to give him mild sedation in the past just to bring him to the vet. He never raised a concern about David's thorough inspection though. This in itself is amazing.

Dr. Polson is so caring and gentle with the animals. Very impressed with his practice, including his staff. Overall a very positive experience.

The degree of care, compassion, expertise, and honesty is something I value immensely. I have moved from Oakville to Brampton but would not even consider switching to a local veterinarian.
