Only one thing should answer all your questions about this place, the absolute best chicken fried rice in the nation, and plus they put a ouce of a side liquid, if you choose to add a awesome flavor to your dish.
We wanted take out Chinese meal and wanted a change from our usual Ming Room or Eddie’s and thought of giving Royal Garden a try. We ordered via the phone and our order was ready in under 15 minutes. Here’s our review. 1. Food - excellent favour. Not overly salty or oily. I found the seasoning was excellent and didn’t have me craving tons of water after the meal. We ordered chicken deluxe fried rice, chilling chicken and beef with mixed vegetables in a chilli sauce. I found the sauces were really well favoured and the fried rice had a nice taste. My wife found the beef a like on the “tough” side. I found the food had its own favour and we really welcomed the experience (as compared to other places where everything kind of tastes the same as other restaurants). 2. Portions - generous but not crazy generous like Lin Gardens in Scarborough. 3. Price - in line with other Chinese/Hakka established restaurants in the areas (meaning: not cheap) 4. Eat in - we didn’t eat in but from what I saw when I picked up the food, it had a small but nice seating area for families (booth and table style) 5. Would we go order again - yes, if we’re thinking take out, then definitely
I ordered sweet and sour chicken and hakka chicken noodles. When I tried it first time it was nice that is why I always order for take out but this last 2x times I noticed that the chicken still have smell really feel bad for the money I spend.
Average food. Chicken Manchurian doesn't taste like one. I've had much better but the taste wasn't there at all. Veg Choupsey is terrible too and I've posted a pic of that. That's not how it's made. If you are northy street food Indian person, please don't come here. It was our first and last time here
Rest Veg Hakka noodles were decent, very Manchurian was good and so was Manchurian egg fried rice.
Recently placed Take out order of Chicken Fried Rice and Thai Chicken Red Curry. Both the dishes where good. Quantity and Quality are both good for the price. RICE DISH was good tasty and lip smacking. Thai Red Curry was just there. I would surely order again soon.
Amazing Food. Been to so many Hakka places in last 15 yrs across GTA. This would be in my top 5. Tried their Deep Fried chicken wings, House Chowmein, Egg Fried Rice and Spicy Garlic Beef. All of them was 9.5 out of 10. Customer service is also excellent. Will go again.
I’ve only had lunch here and the lunch specials are a great deal. The amount of food is almost too much the price is close to any quick burger place, but much better. Tons of options to try, and I can’t wait to see what the best one is.
Definitely one of the best Hakka restaurants. My family loves the Manchurian Soup with extra garlic. Appetizers like Chicken Lollipop and Spicy Prawns are amazing. Their version of Crispy Beef with sesame seed are delight to your palate. Their Hakka Chow-mien is stir fry noodles you will enjoy in cold weather. Definitely comparable to Royal Jasmine. So I am so happy that Royal Garden has branches in the west end of Mississauga.
