Royal Spice Indian & hakka chinese Restaurant

Was so hungry Ordered a Chicken briyani and the chicken was raw! I ended up throwing it away im so so dissapointed

Yesterday, I had a veg biryani it was too delicious as I expected. I will highly recommend to go there….

If you don’t know the recipe of the dish, please do not have it in your menu. I ordered paneer pasanda. Paneer pasanda is an authentic dish in which paneer pieces are sandwiched with nuts and fried and then added to a tangy gravy. Paneer pasanda that I got was actually shahi paneer made in yogurt. I am so sorry but it was not good.

We visited this place today to dine in. Kids wanted to use washroom first.it was stinky, Smelly and Moldy, Women washroom was plugged and in Men washroom sink water pipe was broken and water on the floor.
We were lucky that we made quick decision and didn't dine in.just ordered Samosa and they were not fresh just refried and lots of oil in it.
I will report to the food and health service of Hamilton regarding washroom condition.

Never go out there again back the waiter outside put her finger in her nose and serve food.

It’s one of the only hakka places in hamilton and close to me, the food is not bad either. Fish pakoras are great!

Amazing! I just had the butter chicken, rice and garlic naan.butter chicken is my all time favourite indian dish and this was one of the best i have had!

I ordered Dal Makkhani and found "METAL WIRES" in my food. Wow! NEVER EVER RECOMMENDED.

The best Chinese food in Hamilton I have ever had is from Royal Spice. Last Sunday, I ordered Chowmein and Manchurian for my birthday, and I was really stressed. Because food can make or destroy the party. Fortunately, everyone loved it. Also, thanks for the complimentary sweets. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. Thanks once again. Now, Royal Spice is my go-to-place when I have a craving for hakka food.

I've been trying to find a great Indian restaurant in Hamilton for a few months now, and this is it! We ordered for pick up and everyone was so flavorful and perfectly spicy. The portions were great. The lamb and chicken were tender. I would highly recommend for their Indian menu

Butter chicken gravy was a waste, chicken tasted old, naan like rubber, made mistake by going there.

The worst Biriyani we ever had. I don’t recommend them. There was simply some rice and the gravy. It was flavourless. There was no air conditioning or fan inside. The bathrooms are very poorly maintained.

Everytime I go to this restaurant, food is always great. Never had any complaint. Staff is friendly and professional.

The food is amazing but their customer service is horrible. Ordered on skip and the lady forgot to give the whole order to the driver. When we called the restaurant to try to get it sorted, the lady yelled at us saying we have to come pick it up and we aren’t her customer we are the customer of skip. We just paid $5 for delivery to not even get the full delivery and got yelled at for their mistake. That’s not how you should talk to customers when you are in the wrong. Horrible lady.

We had an awesome dining experience with delicious food and a service beyond the expectation. Interior was super clean and the food preparation time was extremely quick, despite how busy they were. Our lil one enjoyed their auto delivery robot as well.

Ordered hakka veg noodles and soup and manchurian the taste is awesome quantity is more then enough for noddles. Missing 1 star is for they forgot to add salt in noodles. Service was fast packing also perfect

Our first time ordering from this location and vendor. Glad to say we really enjoyed the food. Their generous portions allow for next day enjoyment, what impressed us the most was the plenty of protein in the dishes, where other places are generous with the sauce to hide the little protein provided.
Will definitely order from here again.

Lunch for 3 people. Veggie spring rolls to start - very good. Lamb vindaloo with steamed rice, Hakka chow mein with chicken and paneer tika. All dishes came hot and with very plentiful portions. The chow mein and paneer were delicious. The lamb vindaloo was a bit tough and too tomatoey without the usual depth of flavour. It actually served 4 with leftovers.

A little pricy if your buying a lot of items but very good the tandoori is always fresh and is just so yummy. The curry and saag never have any bones so your just getting big tasty morsels of meat. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and good service.

Fried rice had so much oil, that I was worried USA would invade my home in the night. Who puts coriander on Hakka fried rice. Soup was water with boiled pieces of chicken.taste less. Please avoid this place at any cost

Have to give 1 star since their is not an option for a zero. We ordered fish pakora, man chow soup, Manchurian chicken and veg chowmein. Firstly, Fish pakora was just edible and had no salt. Secondly, the soup was so bland and the fried noodles in it were probably fried months ago or were fried in bad oil. Thirdly, we received chowmein which was the only thing edible but again we requested everything to be mild but the chowmein was super spicy. Lastly, we received Manchurian chicken, 15-20 mins after chowmein and mind it with nobody else in the restaurant and that too with no salt. Fun fact, they put kalonji (nigella/onion seeds) in Chinese, I guess I’ve been having the wrong Hakka chinese all my life. Overall, I’d not recommend this place to anyone and in terms of Hygiene it was 02/10. They don't value your time and prioritizes online orders over dine in. I’m not someone who ever writes a bad review but this had to be done.

Abit pricey but great food. Well I'll edit my original 5 star rating to a 3 star. I called to place an order today. The person that took my call seemed to be unfamiliar with their menu. It took 15 minutes to place the order, it was next to impossible to understand the person because the quality of audio on their phone was destorted and muffled. I had to spell out the dishes for the staff. She said the dishes weren't on the menu, even though I was looking at their menu online while I was placing the order. I honestly think she didn't actually know. Eventually another staff took the phone. I asked if they had written my order down. I was told no they hadn't, so I'd have to start all over again. I just wished them a happy New Year and said nevermind. Ok now it's a 1 star. After having difficulty communicating my order to the staff and respectfully wishing them well and cancelling the order the staff called me back, I figured to apologize but no, it was in fact to start an argument with me sighting that I didn't pronounce the dishes correctly. I had spelled the dishes out while looking at their menu. What more could I have done? I really liked this place. It's a shame this had to happen.

I ordered noodles and manchurian on ubereats. I didn't get spoon or fork and no napkins. I am at work and should i supposed to eat with hands? Very bad service

Please do not sell Chinese I placed a takeout order for
3x Chicken schezwan fried rice And chilli chicken gravy. The chef/cook makes tandoori chicken fried rice which wasn’t Chinese at all. The gravy tasteless just cornflour no salt no flavours.

Unbelievable food. And the owners are as friendly as their food is good.
Extremely highly recommended for anyone looking for good food.

My favorite is the spicy chicken soup. Service was great, quick, friendly and welcoming.

Also, trust me, it didn't break the bank either! Recommended!

I usually order from here and normally it is good. The past couple times have not been so good, I always get the Veggie Korma and it has just been bland. I'm just finding its never consist anymore. I ordered last night and dont even wanna finish my left overs.

I had the best experience at this restaurant. I ordered chicken Manchurian and Chicken Hakka chow mein and it was the best, the staff was really friendly too. My friends and I were amazed by how good the food was. I am looking forward to come back here again. I would suggest the Chicken manchurian for anyone who’s looking for Hakka Chinese food.

I was going to Toronto with family and we stopped at this restaurant to eat, the food was delicious. We were a family of 14 people and we all loved the food. They had reasonable prices and I would totally suggest the butter chicken. We would definitely come back. I paid $185 and it was worth it!

Today we tried the place for the first time. We ordered Chicken Biriyani, Paneer Karahi and Jeera rice. Chicken Biriyani had little less chicken than I hoped for. Otherwise It was excellent on all count. Very flavourful, good quantity and delicious. At the present time they are only take out. Owner advised they are hoping to get license from the City to dine in very soon. Plan to go back again next week itself. Keep up the great work!

The food is divine! We had samosas, butter chicken with rice, and naan. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The food doesn't taste commercially cooked, rather it tastes like I ate at my Aunty's house! Will definitely come back with the family next time. And oh, service was very friendly and prompt as well. Had an AMAZING dinner from Royal Spice! We ordered Bhindi Do Pyaaza, Mushroom Do Pyaaza,
and the Royal Handi chicken - all INCREDIBLE! Super friendly staff. Will be back soon!

The food is so yummy.pure indian.moreover, the prices are also less in compare to other restaurant.especially the lentils and sabzi are not ready-made, everythng is fresh cooked.must try

Waiting an extra 20 minutes after the pick up time.
The vegetable pakora was terrible, soggy and very bland.
As was the chicken samosas which looked like they came from a box, and the garlic naan bread was undercooked and soggy.
The only good dishes were the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo but even those didn't blow me away.
Not worth the money.

I ordered the chicken madras and was disappointed! The chicken was all dark meat and very fatty and grissly! I also did not like that you have to order your naan bread and rice separately. Way too much rice for the madras. Had to throw a lot of it out. I think I will stick with Hymalya!

Little bit divert looking in appearance but don’t be mistaken this place has freaking delicious food that is affordable and served fast. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great food, full flavour and good selection of veg, non veg and hakka options. Medium spice is pretty gentle if you are used to eating Indian food. We will ask for hot next time! But savoury and fresh. Chicken tikka and korma were very tasty, chicken samosas and tamarind sauce were fantastic. My sons loved the lamb curry.

I ordered a tiki masala at 926 pm for delivery and they were more than happy to fulfill my order.
I grew up on Indian food and no word of a lie, this was one of the best masalas I've ever had. They've gained a customer for life here.

Quick to prepare our order and good range of menu options but quality was average. The shrimps in the non-veg platter, and their naan breads, were under-cooked.

Ordered from Skip The Dishes so I haven’t been in the restaurant. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious! The garlic nan doesn’t travel well, I think it got a little bit steamed on the way. But the flavour was beautiful. I played it safe for my first order, just getting the classics this time. The butter chicken was excellent! Silky and delicious, and the chicken was tender - could break smaller pieces off with a fork. The onion baji, which I’m used to being balls, was so tasty! Crispy and flavourful, I am saving the leftovers to sprinkle on my next meal.
Overall, I’m very happy and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. The food tastes fresh, the flavours are rich, the portions are huge. My new favourite take out.
