I took my dog here for a routine grooming and despite explicitly asking not to cut his hair they fully shaved him, claiming they needed to even him out after removing some knots. He is a King Charles Cavalier and our breeder warned us never to shave him as his coat will not grow back the same. They chopped every last piece off down to the whiskers on his chin and did a bad job at that. They were flippant to my concerns and rude in their response, telling me to “Go buy a coat” when I pointed out how negligent it was to do this in the middle of a Canadian Winter. Both Karina the groomer and the manager I spoke to refused to claim any wrong doing. We will not be returning for grooming nor vet care as their demeanour expressed an utter lack of care for both their customers and the pets in their keep.
