Food is Great. One Star for how rude the customers that show up and literally BUT IN front of you.not the first time.
I don't go here anymore for that reason only.
If I could leave some type of advice is to implament a system where people Respect other people's turns.

For the past 4 years, I've been purchasing food for myself and my mom with dementia she was very picky on what she ate, but I had no problem with the way the food was seasoned and cooked. Always well done, no complaints.

Went with Rui’s full roasted piglet for my wedding last year. We had such an amazing experience. Food came hot and fresh and Tasted lovely with great presentation and service! Recommending them for any occasion comes with confidence from me and my family!

Just moved in today to the neighborhood. No food in fridge, desperate for dinner and VOILÀ! BEST roasted chicken ever! Juicy, fresh and so delicious. Was served by Paula, charming, friendly, super efficient. Most bbq chickens are too dry and doesn't taste so yummy, the rice was also outstanding.
Friendly and happy staff (at closing time after a long saturday) and yummy food.
Definitely recommend this sweet little spot.

Worst ever place, I am was inside of the restaurant for 10 minutes and they just keep ignoring me, they only serve the people who speak Portuguese what’s the problem is this place!

Great food and good priced, love the roasted piglet, the chicken and the codfish. Good portuguese food just go early on the day to have better choices.

I take my family to this lovely spot quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot many times. The food is great, the staff is helpful and the cost is fair. I like meeting in this restaurant to have a tasty lunch.

My first experience with Rui's BBQ and will definitely NOT order again.

I ordered a "half piglet - cut" and paid for delivery as well ($90).
When the delivery arrived, it felt a little light, but I trusted that they had measured it before delivery.
When I opened it, it looked more like a quarter or third rather than a full half of a piglet, so I took a picture of what had been delivered.
After weighing what I got delivered, all together it was less than 2kg of roast.

I sent them a photo of the delivery, they said "that IS whole half piglet, that IS what you are supposed to get".
A day later they asked me to send them a photo of the delivery on the scale which I could not take because I had already weighed it, prepared to contact them about it, and ate since it was all we ordered to eat. I am not going to just throw it away or let it sit while Rui's BBQ decides to get back to me.
They say it is not their mistake but, where did the 2kg of my order go?
I trusted them and gave them $90 in advance to deliver 3.5-4kg of roast.
I only got 2kg, and they do not trust me.

This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend these guys.

I find his piglet is so good thank you for the good food. Also I seen he Helps the needy and gives free soup to the poor. I was taken back by this there are still good people. I'll be going to this place from now on.

Once upon a time, our family would eat from St. Matthew's BBQ just down the street from this place and find it more convenient in location to our house. Every girl who serves me, I always leave with a smile. Happy New Year!
