Rumi’s Resto and Chocolate Bar

Ordered chicken souvlaki dinner.
Chicken was burnt, a blob of plain white rice. The salad was ok.
Server got upset I think, because he placed order for two dinners and I only wanted one. His whole demeanor changed after he had to refund me for one dinner. Maybe that is why it was burnt.
I will not be returning to this location

Huge portions. Large menu variety. Everything tastes great. Reasonable pricing. Excellent service.

I really wanted to like this place, I've given it 3 chances with no improvement. The food isnt bad, but the service is always awful. Most recently I ordered what was supposed to be non spicy pad Thai and I got burn your face off spicy. When I called to say they made a mistake, they told me they only have one type of pad Thai sauce and they use it on their spicy pad Thai, and their regular pad Thai? He was so rude about it. I won't order again.

The food is excellent everything on their menu is fantastic food. Yes every meal I’ve got from there has been perfect not one thing to complain about. There is only one thing about Rumi’s and I’m not the only one to let them know that the owner is very rude to his employees and every time I’ve gone to pick up my order he is always mad and frustrated. If he would only see that what he’s doing is not the right way to have a retail business and look and talk always in an anger and never smile. Smile when customers come in talk with them, you will see that by changing his ways and being more polite would help him in his business. Hope he sees there are others that had the experience of him with his behavior. I’ll keep buying his food for sure we always do the take out I don’t think I’d want to eat inside because? ……. Don’t let that stop you from going there and definitely you will love his food his food is like a 5 star restaurant. Smile…

Delicious food at reasonable prices! Portions are generous, grilled food had a nice char to it and there is LOTS on the menu to choose from. We enjoyed the Steak Melt sandwich, Lamb Souvlaki, and the Halloumi Fries.

Water is served in plastic bottles but we did not get charged for it. The atmosphere is quite bare but suitable for the price of the food.

Service could be improved upon - the male server was a bit curt and unfriendly. When he interacted with us or dropped things off at the table, he would do so in a hurry and without much care. Dishes were dropped onto the table with a slam and menus were slid across the table to us. Hoping for a bit better service next time we visit.

They have a huge menu, ive tried probably 1/3 of it, and im always very happy with the quality and portion. I could probably eat here every night and not get sick of it!

Well it was our 2nd time to this restuarant. I will say food portions are good and prices. Atmosphere is dull its a room with tables and no pictures on yellow walls, very dull looking.
The owner walks around, hovers over tables, and asks you questions about your order when his english is very poor and can hardly understand. What turned us off was him throwing down my 84 yr old mothers salad in front of her. Then throwing down my gf steak dinner plate. He asks u so rudely,
You want desert like abrubtly.we were done and wanted out. This guy also threw down a menu in front of another lady. He doesnt hand things he just tosses it. Very rude. Maybe learn some Canadian Manners.
Worst customer service ever, the girl he has working is not able to serve drinks so thats another story trying to get them. Then a table of 6 people comes in and he blocks the door so our mother cant even use her walker to get out. Customer service is more IMPORTANT then your food pal.

My wife and i were shocked at how rude the owner was. There was zero customer service. We heard that the original cook is gone and now there are inexperienced people cooking food. I did hear the quality had extremely dropped in portion, presentation and taste. We ordered steak (over cooked). The meatloaf was very dry. I guess this outsider doesnt realize how to treat the people in our community. Oh well we are definately going back to STEELERS!

Great service for a group of six. Reasonably priced and fantastic food. Would come back 100%. Cheese sticks, curry, salmon salad, kids meals and wraps were all fantastic.

I visit this place regularly. Want to try everything on the manu. Have eaten here once a week since the restaurant opened and absolutely love the food. The owner is a supper nice and welcoming guy. Service is always good. One of my favorite restaurants

This was our first time here and what a great little spot. The service was excellent (Rochen) and the food was incredible. Tons of food! Lots of menu items to choose from. We started out with bacon cheese rice balls as an appetizer. I had the chicken bacon carbonara pasta, my husband had lamb souvlaki. We finished off with a wonderful carrot cake for dessert. We will be back for sure!

Stopped on the way back from Wasaga Beach for a late lunch. We were the only ones there. But it was perfect! Friendly, fresh and super tasty food, and reasonable prices! I had the chicken pineapple salad that was way better than it sounds with perfecty charred chicken, grilled pineapple and avocados. My husband had a yummy crispy chicken sandwich and jerk chicken soup that was super flavorful! Really impressed!

My lamb souvlaki was a bit grisley which was off putting. My friends chicken was a bit over done outside but moist inside. The service was inattentive.

You will never leave this place hungry. Lots of food for a great price- it's much better than first impressions might make.

Our experience at Rumis resto and chocolate bar was AMAZING! They were committed to great service and incredibly friendly! The quality of the food was top tier, and the atmosphere was perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious, affordable & worth every single penny! We ordered the chicken souvlaki with Greek salad (Greek salad was the best I ever had), jambalaya, calamari rings, wings & French fries and every meal was cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavour! Definitely coming back here regularly, I can’t wait to try out more items on the menu!
