This place genuinely makes no sense. A walk in clinic that apparently doesn't take walk ins on certain random days.

Receptionist rude, and late.

All the other reviews make sense, this place is garbage. Would suggest an online doctor or literally any OTHER place.

Garbage receptionists, literally running this place into the ground. Rude, disrespectful, incompetent and getting them to answer the phone is like playing in the hunger games. Mailbox is always full! Literally had to call over 50 times to speak to someone and was met with hostility and attitude. If you don’t like your job GET A NEW ONE, nobody is forcing you to work here!

Terrible! After waiting three hours they told me they can't treat me.without a green Health card.

Today I visited the walk in clinic for the first time, and it seemed to me that everything was very good. The receptionist was polite and the doctor was very nice. I was satisfied and in spite of the temperature I am writing this review

Don’t bother. Have attempted to get in on 3 separate occasions always before noon and they say the don’t have availability.

I came to this clinic for the first time a few weeks ago. I explained to the receptionist that I thought I had shingles. I was in pain. A doctor saw me within 20 minutes. Can't ask for more than that.

No one answering the phone. Doesn't even ring, straight to "mailbox is full" days of this now.

The doctor was very nice, and the people that work in the Pharmacy provided me an amazing service, Thanks you

Avoid coming here. If you have to, the only way is to book an appointment (it's not really a walk-in) and be aware of their short working hours. Sometimes only going in person to make appointment works (don't pick up the phone). Have had many technical issues on their side with sending referrals, and outdated contact information.

I've been calling for a few days now and no one is answering the phone. The mailbox is full of messages and it is impossible to leave a message or make an appointment. Dr. Emma is very lovely and helpful, but definitely, the reception staff should pay attention to their work.

Young male doctor was very kind, considerate, and informative. Service at reception was frieny and helpful. They were able to accommodate me quickly. Would come here again if I need to.

This place used to be a respectable clinic. Now they never answer their phone. I’ve been calling for over a week to get an appointment and not even a call back. The receptionist has no empathy for you when you do get a hold of them. Even if you get an appointment there’s no likelihood that you will see a doctor and if you do you have to wait an hour after your appointment was booked for. This place is just a mess and they are a horrible clinic. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Showed up 1/2 hour after opening. After wasting money on parking, receptionist told me No Dr. 's working. Advised to leave my health card and Phone number and a Dr.would call me later in the day. How is this a walk in clinic? Seems like they just want to scam your ohip card here.

My "GP" disappeared from the clinic but I was not notified. After incurring $20,000 (US) in hospital fees after an accident in Ohio, the receptionist refused to communicate with my insurers, so the claim has never been paid, leaving me liable. Now, they are refusing to send my medical records to my new doctor. This "clinic" is a nightmare, keep away.

I made an appointment just to hear my test results from an X-ray and they cancelled on me, I tried calling them twice since and they would not pick up in two days

Usually overly busy an packed/stale air, as many retirees live in the area, but this time it was worse: I arrived at 6: 20 pm to a closed door with a sign that said: "Closed due to high number of patients", however it was EMPTY except for a staff member who turned off the lights and pretended not to be there. I took a taxi with my sick husband to find this? SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

I went here for the first time today and was incredibly impressed with the staff. The receptionist was super kind and gave me an honest wait time and helped make sure I was as prepared as possible to make the shortest wait time possible. The doctor (didn't grab his name) was so accommodating to my anxiety when it comes to clinics, and super kind and quick.i'll definitely be back the next time I need to see a doctor.

Dr. Chen was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. I do not recommend anyone to visit this clinic if you’re in a medical emergency. Dr. Chen stabbed my foot with a needle and seemed unsure of what she was doing. She made me very uncomfortable as a patient and I do not suggest this clinic or doctor to anyone.

I can't reveal much about my experience in this joke of a clinic without going into my personal medical history, but I'll say this here - this clinic has some of the most ill-trained, incompetent doctors in Canada (I have lived in multiple provinces, so I KNOW). This is also the first Canadian walk-in clinic I have been to that discouraged proactive healthcare and questioned a specialist's diagnosis of an issue on a WALK-IN visit! Unfortunately, this clinic serves a number of new immigrants, and PoC, so I feel sad that someone's first taste of Canadian healthcare - which I think is great, in general - will be this sub-standard establishment staffed with incompetent, unprofessional people.

The clinic is not professional and I do not recommend it. And there are numerous reasons for that. Our appointment was with Dr. Anahid Aminian. She is the kind of doctor who "knows it all" and never smiles. Very arrogant and unpleasant to speak to.
I have visited the clinic prior to my visit to clarify what needs to be done to verify my forms (which I showed to them and told what it is for). They said that it is free of charge but it appeared not when we actually came and she signed those forms. Moreover, they are not accepting cards, only cash (noone told that beforehand of course). So we had to go several blocks for the nearest bank location and back.
Overall, avoid that place.

Terrible walk-in clinic, worst service I’ve ever seen. I walked in at 5: 30pm on Oct 4,2019 and the receptionist turned me away before I could even speak because she said they are now closing at 6pm (even though website says 7pm!) and they aren’t taking any more patients! I walked 20 mins for her to give me that terrible service and respond. Never going back!

From 10am to 10: 45am we sat and we waited for the doctor to show up to work, we had to leave to go to the emergency. While sick patients where waiting without realizing there was no one there to see them. By far the worst clinic. AVOID AT ALL TIMES!

The staff are great and fair, they try their best considering the volume of people they see daily. The low rating has to do with the people that show up and use every bit of entitlement they can muster to not wait.case in point lady shows up and it’s closed, she leaves and comes back after 5 people who actually waited for them to open have checked in, she complains loudly to nobody that she was there and was told to come back until she gets her way. Under that logic you could show up the previous day just before they close and demand to be seen first the very next day.
I guess that is what you have to deal with when you are located in Bloor West Village, the home of ENTITLED mothers who are too special to wait or observe the common public decency.

I live in the neighbourhood and have been there many times for a number of things and am satisfied with their service. Always courteous and helpful.

They fill up fast though- so get there early.

Very professional service and amazing staff. I wish people used that few minutes of their life to book an appointment with their doctor to avoid lengthy wait time instead of writing a nasty review for no reason.

After an hour wait, my son was seen by a nice and thorough female doctor there. It's a small place with around 12 chairs in the waiting room/hall but it's clean and it's a great location. The receptionist, even though with quite an attitude, called within a week to pass a message from the doctor after blood work was done at Jane/Bloor Health Centre.

The receptionist was very unhelpful. I won't bother with details but her lack attention and communication almost wasted my time getting there. Another patient told me on the sly that she had been arguing with a few patients. The doctor was helpful but abrupt (probably because she squeezed me in after the receptionist had failed to tell me on the phone they were closing early)

Been there twice, but don't recommend it to anyone who needs help. First time I came with an eye allergy, and was misdiagnosed. The doctor said it's not an allergy - it's bacterial infection, prescribed antibiotics, and said to come back if they don't work (let me mention that i don't have OHIP, so have to pay for each visit and prescription). Antibiotics didn't work - in fact my eyes got worse, so I came back. The other doctor said that this is definitely not a bacterial infection is an allergy, prescribed another antibiotic, and asked to come back the next day just to check if it's working. This time luckily it worked, I came to see a doctor, he just took a look at my eyes said it's fine, and they charged me another $100.

Second disappointment happened last Saturday (June 8,2019) ; I came in with another eye problem, lined up outside at 8: 50am (clinic opens at 9am), there was already about 11 people in front of me; at 9: 27am the receptionist came downstairs to inform us that doctor is stuck in the subway and hasn't arrived yet; but she will start registering us and we can wait. At this point when I registered she told me to come back at 11am, when I came back to the clinic at that time I noticed that all people that were ahead of me are still there. Doctor HASN"T ARRIVED YET. As much as I understand traffic problems or subway issues; when something like this happens - your order a taxi or an uber and come to see your patients! There was at least 15 patients waiting to see a doctor 2 hours after the clinic was opened. I decided to leave and go to an Emergency Room at this point.

The lady in the reception area is very rude, and not professional at all. She didn't listen to me when I tried to show her my insurance card and she didn't even look at it, she said huh no no no, this is not OHIP you have to pay to see the doctor, and just turned to serve another patient! It was very rude I felt so bad and unwelcomed. I left the clinic without seeing the doctor because I don't want to talk to her again! Will never go back and i don't recommend it. You will feel bad because of the careless attitude.

Everything they said about the bad receptionist here is true! The one female doctor is horrible too. Don’t go here, or even bother calling! You could be on hold for half an hour, or being met with inconsistent answers each time. They were supposed to send referrals to specialist but forgot to send for a week until my husband followed up to check the status. They were supposed to call me back to discuss early pregnancy related tests result but no one bothers to call me. Run for your life, don’t leave your faith with these unprofessional people!

Arrived at 8: 50 to line up outside the door. About 8 people waiting outside. The doctor waltzed in at 10: 03. Really? Why take people at 9am if you don’t start seeing anyone until 10? I have been sitting here in pain for over an hour. Very disrespectful to people who are ill.

Doctors are very professional, but the front desk is very disrespectful, rude, and plain unfriendly. Makes a point to focus on herself instead of the person seeking help. Makes you not want to have to sit and wait with them right across from you.

Very rude. Just called and was interrupted by the receptionist when i was about to ask her a question and was then hung up on.the worst service.don't go here.

Not sure how this is a true walk in clinic as they actually take appts AND walk ins. We arrived around 930 and did not know we could have made an appt. Thirty minutes later the receptionist put up a sign saying they were full and no longer accepting walk ins. The receptionist was friendly but the DR we saw wasnt particularly warm. Ok option if you are in a pinch but we won't return. Also the waiting area is super cramped and the chairs are hard plastic.

I had a dermal abnormality in the genital region, so this was already a matter of stress. I was Dr. Quaye (sp?) who prescribed something which I'm not sure was right for he issue, but more importantly was his not telling me how to properly administer what he prescribed to me, which given location ought to have been used VERY sparingly. No word on possible side effects of reasons to discontinue use either.

Had an awful reaction the initial stage of which subsided on its own, but am still dealing with issues which weren't present until after this episode. It is not the job of physicians to just throw drugs at problems and not understanding. Client care should be comprehensive which includes discussion and information. Doctors are probably causing more serious problems than they're solving these days.
