Rural Rootz Nature Reserve

Trail was beautiful.hiked clockwise from trail head. First part was challenging after that the trail was easy.

Amazing place and a great gift shop. Tom was lovely and so kind. We had a lovely day. The Orange Trail was fun and full of interesting items to find.

Loved it! We visited with our elderly dog as she loves forests but can't manage long walks. We stayed for about 40 minutes and it was perfect. Our favourite part was the "sound trail". Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming

Wow simply wonderful a scenic and peaceful paradise created by Tom and his wife who are great hosts and share this fantastic place will be returning again for sure

From the moment you arrive, you can feel the positive, calming energy. Walking the lovingly tended labyrinths, the sound garden tunnel, and perennial garden paths is renewing. Lots of creative merchandise to peruse too!

I have been there many years ago and absolutely loved it. I am planning to go there this season for sure. The old growth forest is amazing And I do not think you could visit one like this in Ontario.

We recently stayed for one night while on our way home from camping at Bruce Peninsula National Park. Tom and Dee gave as a warm welcome and a tour of the grounds. We wished we could have stayed longer and fully plan to return again next year. Their property is a beautiful gem in which to find peace and harmony in a natural setting.

Rogue and I were there for the Bruce Trail. I would say that people should be prepared for a very challenging hike through rocky terrain. It will all be incredibly worth it for you get to and interact with. The East side and North end is a lot more flat though if you are looking just to relax and enjoy.

Dee and Tom are beautiful people who are so incredibly smart, endearing and kind. Our tea leaf reading with Dee was an unforgettable time that brought my friends and I closer than ever. The way she taught and shared her knowledge with us at the same time was amazing - we laughed, cried, razzed and learned all at once. I came home inspired, on solid foot and at peace. It is a magical place and if you go, consider yourself lucky.
