RW Badminton

I started training here 3 years ago. The coaches, and employees are very professional. This is the only badminton place with clean washrooms. The training is very good. The courts are easy to rent.

The kids here are very nice and the bathroom is very clean the coaches are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, helping me refine my techniques and boost my confidence on the court.overall, i can't recommend this badminton club enough to anyone looking to have fun, stay active, and develop their badminton skills

RW is a great club. Friendly atmosphere surrounded by friendly people. The coaches are also really supportive, kind, caring and thoughtful.

I've been training at rw for the past 5 years. Coaches there are extremely supportive to the players growth and improvement. Rw has been like a second home for me, and players there super friendly and nice. If you want a club to start badminton with or improve, definitely join this club. Deserved 5 stars all the way.

Wanted to try a new badminton club and found this one. The court is decent, but staff was not friendly at all. She was quite rude to myself and my friends. This is my first time renting a court here, but I'll likely go back to other badminton clubs.

We booked an appointment for kids assessment. Triple confirmed for the time and when we arrived, we waited for about half and hour, then left. If you can’t keep the appointment, move it, change it, just don’t waste other’s time like it is dispensable and no value. How can I trust your business if you can’t even keep a simple appointment on time?

This rating and review speaks only to the playing and booking experience. I cannot speak to the coaching services as I have not tried them.

Our party had an extremely disappointing time at RW Badminton and we found the staff to be needlessly hostile and disrespectful.

We were quoted a booking price over the phone for the size of our party and 2 hours of court time and we proceeded with the deposit a week in advance. We arrived 10 minutes before our booking time and we saw signs that indicated that we should wait for assistance. No assistance was provided for about 5 minutes so we walked in to look for staff.

Upon seeing us entering, a lady hurried up to us, scowled, and curtly told us to “do not speak with me until you change your shoes”. Upon complying, she informed us that we had to pay an additional fee as we were over the party limit. We had no issues with paying more but we wanted an explanation for clarity. We explained that we were quoted a full and final price over the phone but she refused to elaborate and implied that we were lying to save less than $5.

We regretfully complied with their bait-and-switch tactic as we already had the group together and we were itching to play. Shame on us for caving and encouraging poor business practices.

A bit more than halfway through our session, she stopped our game as she found that one of our friends had partially black soles and marked the court. We apologized and offered to scrub the mark off, and my friend also excused himself from further court time.

This was not enough for her as she threatened us with a fine and proceeded to “watch over us” as we played out the last bit of our time to ensure that my friend would not step back onto the court. Just to make the experience more uncomfortable, she walked up to my seated friend again and threatened a fine a second time.

RW Badminton was the only court we could book on short notice but I guess now we know why it was still available. Communication with this club was poor at best and fraudulent at worst. The staff was both disrespectful and belittling. I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this facility.

RWBC is a great Badminton place closer to major highways. The courts are clean and of good standard at reasonable price. The staff follows COVID protocols strictly, which is a good thing. I purchase badminton racquets and shuttles also at a reasonable price. My son is also coached at RWBC by coach Ayub, who is an excellent coach.
In summary, Raymond and Candy are managing the place professionally with high standards.

Great place, specially at the price point you can barely rent any courts at a cheaper price per hour than here.

The courts are decent. The staff is good too.

The only suggestion I have for this place is to do something about the lighting, in certain courts, at certain angles the lights can interfere with your game. I've been to courts where they cover the lights with a draping translucent material that makes them less harsh.

It is a good court. They strictly follow Covid protocols which is good. I’m not sure how many courts they have, I have never been to other side as we always get the same court. They insist on clean white sole shoes and not strict on gum soles which is great! Once, the manager started vacuuming and mopping around our court which was definitely disturbing and strange but we let it go.

RW badminton is not only a badminton court, but also a GREAT team. Raymond has been my coach for years. He is very dedicated and full of passion in badminton. I had lots of practice and training session in the court. Love it and miss it!

Rented a court for 2 hours at a great price. The facility was clean, temperatures were taken and our shoes were sprayed before entering. Raymond and his team were accommodating and made the place feel safe.

This was a great facility to play badminton at. I have been looking for a place/club to get back into the sport and if I had not been invited by my friends to play there, I would not have known about it. It is very clean and well kept and the staff there were very friendly! They only had 4 courts as far as I could see but regardless of the number of courts, I would still recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to play or get back into the sport. I look forward to coming here in the future!

Excellent service. Great prices, the best equipment and the best of all the service by Raymond is 300 over 100.

If you want to have fun and/or practice this is the best place.

Their are only 4 courts and they charge about 17 to 18$ an hour they also charge $5 per racket to rent (money grab). Also they do not allow u to change ur booking timing which was not even communicated to us. Ok place, but floors are not hardwood they are literally mats. Lighting was ok

Really great place, its nice and quaint. It isnt on the larger side but its well maintained. The staff is really friendly

The place is small, with only 4 courts but I love how they are treating the covid situation with utmost caution. They have a separate entrance and exit area and spray down everyone’s shoes before they’re allowed to enter. Masks must be worn while not place (including resting although I didn’t see them enforce this, though the signs are there). All the chairs on the side are marked with yellow tape where they should be stationed, and should not be moved to enforce the 6m social distancing rules.

Overall a pleasant experience. Not overcrowded.

Prices are a bit high but not out of the ordinary. There are non-member fees, so call to check with them.
