This is my kid’s third year at this school and she has had wonderful teachers. Whenever we’ve reached out to the teachers and the admin staff, we have had nothing less than a stellar experience! This is a school where teachers and admin staff deal with a multitude of issues for students who may be from very challenging circumstances on a daily basis. They must be saints for maintaining the composure that they do.

This school is the reverse of enjoyability. This school is one of the most horrible schools in the world. The school has very very ignorant teachers.

Hi, Mrs. Betty. I just want to say hello. It was a great experience for me to learn from you. I was just a shy Asian student and could not speak English. However, you tried to teach me with passion eventhough you were near retirement. (Still, I cannot speak English pretty well, haha.)
Thank you so much for teaching me, and I miss you.

I would like to share my experience with the school from a parent perspective. My daughter had started grade 6 this year and had a rough start: not only that she experiences social anxiety, but COVID-19 and torn ligament (outside of school) in October did not help.
I would like to point out my incredible experience that I have had with staff at this school: The principal- Ms. Jones- who addressed my concerns, was supportive and reassuring in my daughter's transition to school after her injury.
Ms. Stanfield, my daughter's home teacher- who always responds to my questions and concerns. I am thankful for all her work and support that she provides my daughter when she has struggles.
To Admin staff Ms. Barlow- who is always positive on the phone, despite the chaos this year with COVID, and is always ready to help with whatever is needed.
So, from a parent who sees your dedication to students, thank you.

It's really not that ghetto.the kids there just don't know how to treat authority figures with respect.it's a really good school with amazing teachers that should not be judged based on its exterior.i had a fantastic three years which were filled with learning, good teachers who i wasn't afraid to talk to, and fun.however - the environments at the two stores nearby are super toxic - there can be kids vaping in the stores and disrespecting whoever is working there which is pretty awful.but there's a lot of good kids at the school and the teachers are incredible as well
