Nice facility with ample parking, very organized. Nicely designed building not a bad seat in the house. If you want to catch some OHL action “home of the Barrie Colts” or take a road trip to see your local club on the road, this is a good spot.
Good but small arena, no clue why it’s cash only and why ads are constantly being played on the jumbotron when every other chl arena has the game being played.but great experience though for sure!
Arena staff was great but a few Battalion fans were assaulted after a Battalion/Colts game. I've never going back to Sadlon arena ever again. Worst experience ever!
Attended a hockey game Feb 11/23. Drove up from Hamilton. One major concern with the Arena.lack of handrails to help descend the stairs! Very risky! I thought by now all public venues were to be "accessible " to all.
Great place- great game- but for something that claims to be state of the art it’s surprising that after COVID it’s cash only. Super annoying and it doesn’t seem to be posted “cash only” anywhere on the website…
Great venue to watch a hockey game or concert. No obstructed viewing. Easy building to navigate and find your seat. Lots of parking but be prepared for a wait to exit if you don't get out quickly.
The hockey game was great but we had to figure out where row #28 was which we had to take the stairs down #23 and cross over to 28 once we got to the down to the boards
Sports, events and concert venue. Seating is a bit on the narrow side. If you are tall or larger you might fit in the seat, if not there are a few standing areas. Home of the Barrie Colts hockey team. Horsepower bar and grill at the end of the rink.
Lots of great vendors at the Christmas Show. It was difficult to navigate to the lower level. I used the stairs but many had to use the lift and there was a long lineup.
At the Sadlon Center We watch the Barrie Colts but we do see the staff intermingle with the customers and the fan base. And from what I've seen, there's some of the most responsible staff I've seen yet the places you always clean. There's always somebody picking up her broom, mopping a floor and wiping stuff down. We have been here for many trade shows. Very organized.
There was plenty of seating for the Rock 95 Birthday Bash. I wish they had more food vendors available & more alcohol vendors open so that lines weren't so long.
Great venue for a hockey game. Plenty of washrooms. Lots of quality vendors. Popcorn sucked. Tastes like they make one batch for the whole year and just bag it before the game. Plenty of parking. Attentive and friendly staff. And the Toppers Pizza was delicious. Surprisingly everything is "cash only" which I found odd in this day and age.
Always a good time when I'm at the arena watching hockey. Things are a little different with the Covid protocols in place but everyone I saw was following the rules and looked to be having a good time
Great place to watch a hockey game buying tickets is so easy the ladys in the colts store don't rush you to pick your seats. Not happy about the name change
Acoustics in this arena aren't the best as it tends to suck up sound. Also as fun as it is to play hockey here, the ice can be softer then other places to play in Barrie
Great place to see an OHL game. In seat service in the end zone is a bonus, and not available in most rinks. We miss the silent auctions put on by Doug Laurie Sports. Cant wait to get back and see some live hockey again #covidsucks
Seats were very uncomfortable I would sincerely consider not attending an other event there.i could not get in contact with anyone to find out what time doors open.poor communication between center and ticket pro. I loved Jeff Dunham
Saw the colts. Awesome game. First hockey game and we enjoyed it! No inside drinks though meaning your timmies. Parking was a hassle the people directing it kept sending us the wrong ways. Other than that good vendors inside and was a good night
Saw the Colts play here. Great game. We sat right behind the goal net. Not sure I would do that again. It was cold on the main floor. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and made the night fun. Will definitely go back again
Enjoy taking my son to many games. Since the farm was sold last year, the games are not as exciting. The team passes waaaay too much. Last year, my friend and our sons were yelling to pass the puck, when a Colt had the puck in the slot. We received laughs everytime. Best of luck to Dale. I am a huge fan of the man.
This arena has a special place in my heart because I played there as a wee lad in minor hockey. However it does not compare to other rinks in the OHL. Small corridors, luxury boxes in weird places and beer that is expensive even by arena standards.
Ice rental seems to always be soft and dulls skates fast surprising considering colts play there. Also events get booked over rentals periodically which is annoying.
Nice, clean facility. Lots of parking. Like all arenas and stadiums, the seating is small, cramped had plastic. Bring a cushion. Food and drinks are available and an onsite restaurant.
Great place to watch hockey. Home of the junior a Colts. Comfortable seating. Food and beverage prices outrageous but to be expected. Lots of free parking.
I went there for the Canadian Rv liquidators huge Rv sale. The prices where amazing. I hope they come back next year.i seen many people taking advantage of the deals.
I am here for the Formula North. The facility is large with a lot of parking. The food service onsite is limited but there are many other restaurants around the area.
No free WiFi in the 21st century? No outside food in the parking lot? I don’t know if this is normal or just for the Formula SAE event but it’s ridiculous.
It was a great experience. My daughter is a wheelchair user. Venue was very wheelchair friendly and the staff was very helpful. They went above and beyond in helping me.
A great place to watch the Barrie Colts. A pillar of the sports community. Minus one star as a venue to play middle aged shinny hockey due to keeping the arena temperature at uncomfortable levels for beer leaguers with no stamina.
The Barrie Molson Centre has been a staple of Barrie since I can remember. It's a large stadium, that is modified to fit whatever event necessary. It's hosted some of the most famous people in the past, and is really the only thing in Barrie like it. They have a great bar and food selection. The seating is well-done, the halls are easy to navigate, the parking lot is plentiful, overall the Barrie Molson Centre has done its job for Barrie, and is an icon of the city. I've gone to concerts, hockey games, basketball games, etc here, and hope to continue in the future.
