Safari Niagara

One of my favorite zoos to visit, there is a wide variety of species; this year, white lions, White Rhinos and other species were new - each year Safari Niagara tends to expand and add new attractions. There are a number of species that are more rarely seen in Ontario zoos, including my favorite, the African Painted (or Hunting) Dog.

Was quite the drive to get there. It's very accessibility friendly (anything with wheels, be it the pram or a walker). They even provide wagon rentals for those of you with little kids that may get tuckered out by the time they reach the other end of the park. You can either walk the whole park, or ride their gator train that stops at various areas of the park.

Very good collection of animals. From tigers, to hippos, giraffes, bears, pather, wolves, lemurs, and some really vocal monkeys XD.

There are also farm animals, like alpaca, goats, guineas, chinchillas and all manner of birds.

Seems like on weekends, they have a carnival section with carousel, carnival games, etc.

We got seasons passes and visited 7 or 8 times. My 3 year old loved it! We especially enjoyed the splashpad. My son uses a walker and I was very pleased by how everything is pretty accessible.

The zoo has easy to follow map with varieties of animals and attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk or hope on the tram to tour around the zoo. Kids enjoy the zoo very much, we will go back next time.

Great place to go with the family especially if you have little ones. Remember to bring swimming gear and snacks for the family.

Superbe journée au Safari Niagara en famille! On a particulièrement aimé la quiétude des lieux, la variété des activités (animaux, manèges, jeux d’eau, petite ferme, etc.), les petits trains qui permettent de faire le tour du site au complet. De plus, c’est l’un des rares endroits où on peut voir les animaux d’aussi près. Nous recommandons!)

It was an awesome and amazing place to take the kids to. My kids really love it. They never for one day forgot to tell the stories of their visits there.
I am happy I took them there.
Their shuttle van there was also helpful to convey us from one point to another.
I love it.

Kids loved it lots of walking and gets really hot since not much coverage. All in all was a fun visit and would recommend.

We were impressed with Safari Niagara. First of all, all the animals are easier to see than I have experienced at the Toronto Zoo, and they have a lot of different animals. The location is easily walkable, but for those who don't want to walk, they have a bus that circles the park. The food isn't overpriced when compared to other parks. Besides the animals, they have splash pads and rope climbing for the kids.

We like the zoo, its small and private and way better then driving into the city.support local - these people work hard to bring smiles to all of our faces

Great zoo, very well maintained. Friendly staff, animals seem very well cared for. My son loves it here and my wife and I have been coming for years.

Seemed to different world where covid is not existing.no one is wearing mask or social distancing and even workers inside zoo were talking to visitors without mask.
