Pathetic packaging and no manners to know how exactly a combo meal should be packed. You order a meal worth 25 dollars and this is the condition in which you receive it. Butter chicken tastes like a bowl of tomato soup even though had specifically mentioned for it to be spicy

Ordered through Uber eats, they have a good rating so I trusted it and tried them out tonight. Such a disappointment. Butter chicken is literally canned tomato soup, it's almost inedible. Pakora is over fried and dry. Kashmiri Korma is just sweet with no flavour and lamb pieces are little slivers of meat. I can't believe this meal was made from was was is supposed to be authentic Indian restaurant. Waste of money honestly, I would skip this place based on mine and other recent reviews.

We absolutely LOVE this food; I mean, 5 stars - it’s all so flavourful and authentic. Eat in and enjoy.

But, takeout: they cannot manage their timelines, I have never ordered food and had it ready even close to on time. The first time, I waited an hour in the waiting area - 45 min after ordering. Since then I try to turn up a little later than when they say it will be ready and it never is, we still wait for ages. Always “almost ready, 5 min”. Every other place has it in bags waiting for you.
This is a big deal - there is almost no parking on King William, and most will throw their hazards on in an illegal spot just to run in and get food. The wait is excruciating. Door Dash often come and go, while us mere humans sit and wait forever.

Edit: they have vastly improved their wait times. This is our go-to place now.

We ordered the chicken taka tak and the baigan. Both were delicious and filling. Generous portions, good prices, great service

As someone who is pretty picky about his Indian food, this place hit all the right notes. Everything tastes amazing and the service is really nice and friendly.

Note: if they tell you it's spicy, it's pretty much going to be a five alarm fire in your mouth.

I wish I could give a 0 rating. Yesterday, my three friends and I ate food from this restaurant and got food poisoning. We've all still not quite recovered from it.

Reply for the Response: I understand your concern regarding the review, but I assure you that it is not fake. My friends and I genuinely had a negative experience after dining at your restaurant. We do have receipts from our visit to your restaurant and i am posting it here.

Definitely worth the price, the place itself is not the cutest, its kind of in the basement. However, the food was amazing! Definitely worth the price! Garlic naan was sooo tasty and fresh. Would recommend this place for a decent meal.

Best Indian in the city hands down. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the food is absolutely to die for with very sizeable portions. I completely adore coming here.

I just went to an Indian restaurant in my neighbourhood and had a wonderful time. The dinner was delicious, flavorful, and prepared to absolute perfection. The waiters were amiable and attentive, and the service was likewise excellent. It was a welcoming, tranquil setting. Anybody seeking an authentic Indian eating experience should definitely check out this establishment, in my opinion.

I LOVE this place. A little hole in the wall with the best coconut curry I've ever had. So much flavour! Consider me a regular.

Maybe more Nepalese than Indian. As a person eating Indian food every day and knowing the real taste of India, it left me dissapointed. Never tried Nepalese food, maybe it was suppose to taste like that but I wasn't a fan. Won't be coming back as it didn't satisfy my taste buds

Excellent food - the Indian food here tastes so amazing and you can tell it’s freshly made each time. Very impressed by the quantity of quality of food!

That being said, service is not so great. We waited so long just to be seated and the restaurant only had one table occupied otherwise all empty.

Their combo meals were a little bit on the expensive side being priced at over $19 per person. The butter chicken also came out a little bit too sweet for some of us. There was a decent number of diners present when we dined in on a rainy Thursday evening.

What did not sit well with me was their menu pricing was different from what you were charged at the machine. This was true for the seafood combo I ordered. I went with fish which is about a dollar cheaper compared to the shrimp. When I went to pay, I noticed that I have been charged the more expensive item for their seafood combo.

I brought it up with the server and she initially mentioned that it was due to tax being applied. I argued again and explained clearly that it cannot be due to the tax and that I was clearly charged the higher rate. After some more arguing and back and forth which was accentuated more due to the problem with communication from their end, she then just mentioned that the seafood combo was just priced that way with the machine.

I still did not accept this reasoning but decided to pay for the higher-priced false advertising seeing that the conversation was just going nowhere.

Went there and waited nearly 3 hours to get served food. The food is good but the service is absaloutly terrible. If you go be prepared to be there for 3 hours. Good food but ill never go agian

Food was good and delicious in Desi touch but service was very slow. There are only two persons here to cook and to serve as well. It took too long to prepare my order.

Fantastic food and full of flavour. We had veggie samosas, chicken briyani, lamb korma, and chicken tikka masala. Everything was excellent and served with care. Thank you for the wonderful dinner, we will be back!

Ordered a biriyani and some Sikh kebabs from this place and I thought I’d share that I very much enjoyed it.
The kebabs were superb when dipped in the sauce that it’s paired with and the biriyani was flavourful and had a great texture. Quantity is standard and I believe of value.
Definitely a front runner for Indian cuisine in Hamilton based off of first impressions.

Very bad quality food in terms of taste and also very poor service. Also the behaviour of waiters was rude. I wouldn't recommend to explore.

The front looks really great. Until you get a peak at the back storage of where they keep their foods. Mice, cockraches and a lot of denial and cover up on the owners part.

I drive all the way from Oakville to visit this place whenever I’m craving Indian & Nepalese food. They have a wonderful menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, as well a ton of wonderful meat dishes.

My last visit my partner and I got the samosa, lentil soup, Malai Tikka, and Royal Thali. Everything tasted wonderful and was very fresh. I love the Naan as well.

Was extremely disappointed with my order. Madras lamb curry was unpalatable due to extreme spice level (coming from a person who has high tolerance for spice and love spicy food), lamb biriyani had absolutely no taste of biriyani and the rice was sweet and the pieces tasted blunt (huge portion of rice). Sheek kabab was the only item I liked and enjoyed.

WOW and excellent flavours with such care and authenticity with every dish. This is now and forever my favourite go to Indian restaurant! I kid you not, you will not be disappointed with this place. Vegan dishes are also offered with the same care that is put into each and every dish - you can taste it and is well worth any wait. This is a MUST spot to come dine in and enjoy. Thank you staff I will see you at least once a week. ️️️

10/10 you cannot miss the place for Indian food. The place is a little rundown but don’t let that fool you, the food is absolutely amazing.

Lamb Biryani came without the sauce it gets everywhere else I've ordered it and was disappointing and flavourless

We usually do take out but this time we decided to enjoy family time and had dinner at the restaurant.

Poor service. The Nan bread was not even cooked. The butter chicken didn't have a thick sauce, it much water based. Honestly the worst Indian food I had in hamilton.

Had the papri chaat and malai chicken with butter chicken. Butter chicken was good but the rest of the food is not spicy at all, rice is not seasoned, staff did not understand what masalas the kitchen uses for meat, assumed this is a given. Overall service was ok

Malai tikaa n so called chicken biryani. One of the worst taste ever. It was a waste of money. Nothing tastes like ok. Not even a single dish was good. Waated my money n my friend's from Brampton they were like its the tasteless food even they tried. In chkn biryani they added hardly 2 pieces of chkn. I wish i get my money back.

I love the food from this place, specially their sauces. They have just the right amount of spice for me and they are not as oily as other places I have tried.

Ordered takeout from Sagarmatha and loved it! The portion sizes are huge and all reasonably priced.

The staff were friendly and apologized for the short wait for my food when I arrived. Overall one of the best curry places in the city!

This place is absolutely outstanding. So delicious and very authentic - I feel like I'm ordering from a restaurant in Delhi! I also love that they're open late.

I was totally unsatisfied not only with the service, decor and cleanliness but also about the food quality. When we walked into the restaurant, we seated ourselves. The glasses on the table not clean. When asked for clean glasses, the owner immediately was defensive. In the middle of placing an order, the phone rings in the restaurant and the server tells my friend to be quiet. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We waited over an hour to finally get our meal. The food was very very spicy eventhough we asked for mild and the food did not taste fresh. Unfortunately, we will not return.

Came here a couple Fridays ago with a big party. Food took a bit longer than expected but that was understandable. It was very much worth the wait. Some of the most legit Indian food I've had.

Didn't enjoy my experience. Everything tasted very sweet like it had been doused in sugar, not any spice. Naan chewy. Not great!
