Hidden gem tucked away in downtown St. Catherine's. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The crab rangoons are a must. Friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Poor food quality in our Take Out orders during all of 2022-23! Used to be our favorite place. Now smaller shrimp and stale crab rangoon - Pad Thai look & taste like leftovers. Crazy Chicken great taste but carrots not fresh & crispy - very hard to chew.

The best Thai restaurant in the city, decent prices and excellent service. Enjoy the atmosphere while you have dinner and a few drinks, there's a reason this restaurant is always rated so highly.

Food is amazing. I've never had a bad experience with Sahla throughout my 19 years of living. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good Thai place. Wish the level five spice on the peanut curry had a little more heat but I can't complain because it is always remarkable.

Awesome food, friendly knowledgeable staff and a nice atmosphere. Definitely will go back when in St. Catharines!

One of the best Thai Restaurants in the Niagara region with an excellent menu and equally good dine-in and take-out options.

My girlfriend and I went for lunch for the first time here. We ordered a few dishes and shared them. The food was freshly made and tasted very good. I have put this place in my contacts so if I’m out I can order for pick-up.
My only complaint was the crab Rangoon’s. Very little crab and they were very pasty. Even with this I still give them a 5 Star review.

Idk where to start. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing and the owner is amazing. We live in Buffalo, NY and the past 2 times we have traveled only to eat thai at SahlaThai. The first time we went we were crossing the boarder and said we were going to to eat and the customs boarder person named Sahla Thai as a place to go to for time…SHE WAS DEFINITELY correct. We went the first weekend in September and then we went just 3 days ago and went back with a good friend of ours yesterday…need I say more. We will travel for good I mean amazing food! You will not be disappointed and if you are I believe something is wrong with your tastebuds. I want to give a shout out to Ruth and Gif both servers and SUPER nice, friendly, knowledgeable and so much more. Also I would like to give a shout out to the owner who goes by the name Apple. She was really personable and felt like family. What have we had.: mango fried rice (more then once), pad thai glass noodles, thai wings, crab Rangoons, thai iced tea, magic shrimp, green curry, yellow curry, fresh shrimp rolls and thai rolls. Yes the 3 times we have had all of these food items. I’m writing this review the day after we just left there and 2 things we just finished our leftovers and they were just as good as yesterday and also also I went on website to look at menu to see what I am going to order next! I’m too tired to write a book on this restaurant Sahla Thai but I will continue to give them their due praise for their food and I hope once you have their food you can continue the story, this book of AMAZING food reviews!

The cons:
- Food poisoning for both myself and my gf courtesy of their vegetarian pannang curry dish.

For me, 5 Stars isn't enough. This is the only place to go for Thai food. The crab Rangoon is out of this world. The sauce they use is some magic secret and they aren't giving it up for nothing it is so good. Lunch, Dinner its always the same, DELICIOUS

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat.my experience today was absolutely horrible- ordered apps and clearly communicated to the server that my daughter only at seafood and no other "meat" Our deep fried spring rolls were ok (but burnt), but the thai roll came out with pork in it.i mentioned it to the server and the fact my daughter did not eat meat and he took away without offering to rectify the issue in any way. My non vegetarian daughter and I both opted for the soup.wrong choice- not sure if we got the bottom of the pot or what, but the fish sauce taste was overpowering and disgusting. I mentioned the taste and the server did offer to give us a salad a
us an alternative. We agreed but asked for them togo with our dressing on the side.see pic of our salad. Entrees were ok.

Was looking around with my Fiancee for somewhere to go for a dinner date we found this place and the Restaurant is beautiful the staff are friendly and kind. And the Food was to die for

I had the pad thai and it was really good, the portions are huge. I had enough for 2 meals so I took it home and had the rest later. I've been here a couple times and both times I've been happy. The service is good, the waitress we had was nice and she explained some of the menu items to us to help us decide and the food came pretty fast from the kitchen. Will be going back.

It was terrible experience, I ordered Pad Thai and it was so messy flavor. I couldn’t enjoy the dishes but I had to cuz it was cost a lot of money. The service was unfriendly. He didn’t even have a smile. I WILL not return.

Delicious foods with friendly staffs. I ordered the chicken satay (I was impressed with the way to be served that you are able to keep your food warm with a mini grill) and Pad Thai. They were really tasty.
A bonus point is the environment. I love the way they decorate their restaurant. Really unique!
I probably will go back again. Highly recommend!

This is my favourite restaurant downtown St Catharines! Seriously, I take everyone here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend.

Great portion sizes, menu options and food quality! I had the Panang curry with chicken, a spice level 3. There was enough for 3 meals for me! The spice level was great when it was fresh, but be warned it got hotter as leftovers ;)

I was so disappointed in my experience. We asked the restaurant to substitute the shrimp because of an allergy which they stated that they could do. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the restaurant failed to follow instructions and my friend suffered an allergic reaction. Not to mention that the food was inedible due to a very strong smell. Overall it was a really bad experience.

The pa Thai we had was very bland no flavor was very disappointed seen all these great reviews and I got bland food that seems I over paid for.

Skip it. Serious, if you want canned food served with sauce from a jar, come here. Price for portion is okay. Friendly wait staff. Nice interior design. Clean washrooms. Limited free parking. Paid Garage, lot and street parking nearby. Bus terminal nearby.

I love Sahla Thai! I have been going here for over a decade for Thai food and have never been disappointed. I now live 6 hours away but every time I'm in town, I always order something. My favourites our pineapple fried rice, pad Thai (classic), their shared appetizer platter and crab Rangoon.

I recently ordered crab Rangoon on the phone on my last trip there, picked it up and everything went smoothly. Staff are friendly and it tasted amazing as usual. I do look forward to dining in soon.

There is parking behind the restaurant and the prices are reasonable. Always my favourite Thai place, even though I live so far away now. Highly recommend!

Tasty thai dishes. Havent been for a while. My only comment is that the prices are a bit high. Curry, with no rice and a thai roll cost me 33 dollars.

Hands down the best Panang Curry and Pad Thai I have ever had. Very reasonablly priced food, that comes with a top level of quality. I have been eating at this restaurant for 3 years now and I have never not had friendly staff. Great service.

Best Thai restaurant you can find in town. The dishes are very authentic and I like that it is a pure Thai restaurant, not a mix of Thai/Japanese or Thai/Chinese. Environment is very inviting as well. Pice is on the higher end but the quality makes it worthwhile. Highly recommend this place.

The bed thai food you'll find in the whole area. I can't recommend it enough. The staff is so friendly. And the food is delicious.

We ordered Mango Fried Rice, Specialty Chicken, plus flat noodles: Pad Si Ew beef, and Pad Ki Mow chicken. I’d say their noodle dishes are better than entrees, but the fried rice is probably popular. Most of their choices were curries, which I avoided, just in case (of peanut concern). We’d recommend trying this restaurant

I ordered take out today from Sahla Thai. The food was excellent and hot and fresh. It was flavourful and I was pleased with the dish. I chose the pad thai an old favourite. I would say its the best in the area, maybe in Canada.

Went here for dinner; was not that busy. Weekends this place can get pretty hectic. The staff is really friendly. The food is ok, some things might be over priced. I ordered pad Thai and was really sweet, I’ve asked for midium spicy but was not spicy at all. Service really quick tho. Recommend, thank you

We ordered Valentines Dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. This place was so busy. They were able to keep things organized. Our order was a few mins late but you have to give them credit for such a busy day and everything we had was so good! I even had leftovers for lunch the next day!

I ordered delivery from this place last week and had a HORRIBLE experience.first of all the food is SO EXPENSIVE and the spring rolls are very bland! Also, I ordered a completely vegan dish and told the person I have a severe fish allergy so none of my stuff can touch fish. It showed up, I had three bites and had to go to the hospital and throw all of the food out. Before I left for the hospital I called and told them what was happening and instead of apologizing or offering us a refund they said "wow, that's weird. Well I told the kitchen staff about the allergy so. " and that was it. I was so upset, they didn't seem to care at all that they had made a serious mistake. Please ORDER FROM SPICY THAI instead! They are so good, affordable and great with allergies!

Ordered take out. They got our order wrong. When I called to tell them. The girl that took my order. Blamed me for ordering the wrong items.zero customer service. Last time. Going there.

We ordered take out from here today. I found it to be pretty pricey for food that was just ok. The one item we ordered was fresh shrimp rolls and you only get 2 for $7.95! I got the pad thai.it was kind of dry. Not much flavour.no limes or anything. One of the dishes we ordered, I asked for no peanuts or bean sprouts but there were still peanuts. On top of it all I have been having bathroom issues and my stomach is upset. Rather disappointed for the amount of money I spent. Spicy Thai is way better.the only reason we went here instead was because they were closed.

I ordered the chicken pad thai, the spice level was as asked but the dish itself consisted nothing but noodles and a few pieces of chicken. No bean sprouts on other substance, it was highly disappointing. Was not worth the trip I made from the falls to pick up my order. Will order from my usual thai place in the falls next time.
