Had the takoyaki and it was so good. Came back for salmon sushi and japanese cakes and it was so good as well

Sakura Ichiban Express makes delicious poke bowls and sushi. The food is delicious and incredibly fresh. The staff are absolutely lovely to deal with, they are always so welcoming to my young son and I. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in Burlington Centre.

The service is good - this place appears to be run by a family and they are really nice.
Now about the food quality. I ordered a platter which appeared to be a good deal on paper (66 pieces for $60) but the size of the rolls were disappointingly small (each piece is less than half the size (closer to 1/3) of what I would consider an acceptable/average size of a single roll). The other issue this creates is that the rolls are small so they break apart. I'd say it was more like 30 pieces for $60.in this economy when businesses are already increasing prices or decreasing portion sizes, or both, it's overall deflating and disappointing. We as consumers can see through this quality and the fact that we're paying more hard earned money for less. As a result I will only be a one-time customer at this spot. It's misleading, and sadly it was insulting that they called that an adequate portion for what they consider to be a 'piece'.

Used to be my to go place for Sushi/poke bowl take out. Not sure if this place got a new owner or what. Both quality and quantity are not comparable with before.

The chef is a master and the sushi is out of this world. I could eat here every day.

I bought a miso soup and salmon lovers box for my friend who is having a difficult time. It was such a beautiful array of elegant rolls. Thank you so much!
